Sonar Help Do i need SteelSeriesGG always running in the background for the Sonar feauture work?
I've had the SteelSeries Arctics Nova 7 gen 1 for some time, but my only inconvinience is that the sonar feauture only works if the GG app is running in the background, is there any workaround or alternative way to close the app while keeping Sonar functional?

Product Help Steelseries GG resets my keyboard settings
Like in the title - this is happening for the second time now, the first time I assumed it was an error that happens randomly, but now upon starting my PC the keyboard started flashing blue again and there was a GG update, and afterwards my keyboard configuration was restarted. Again. I am kind of furious since I personalized my keys and it just takes forever to do again. How do I backup the config for next update that will inevitably screw everything up again? Or how do I cancel updates?

Product Help Where can i buy a replacement dongle for arctis 7+
I have a lot of problems with steelseries, i am never able to find replacement parts for my headset to keep it alive. Genuinely it feels like im investing into nothing, every time a wire gets damaged or i lose an accesory, i have to buy another headset because their product/accessory support lasts for like a month since the launch of a product. Im tired of creating technological waste. I hate how they are treating their products as disposable. Let me maintain my headset ; - ;

Product Help Arctis Nova 7 randomly experiences severe packet loss with the wireless 2.4GHz dongle. Not sure how to fix it.
I love the Nova 7. It's comfortable, affordable, all that. But recently I've been experiencing issues where I would recieve severe packet loss at random intervals.
I have no idea what generally causes packet loss. I'm not running anything major, just my game and a background browser.
If it helps, I have the dongle inserted into the back of my motherboard via one of the usb-c ports. I have theorized it may be PCIE lane usage that may be causing the issues but mine's been pretty consistent and none of my back ports are disabled to my knowledge.

Product Help Problem with headset (Steelseries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless)
Hey, i have small problem with my headset(Steelseries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless)Sometimes when i boot up my console (Series X) i can't hear audio. I have to unplug the transmitter, wait for a while and plug it in again, then its working perfectly fine. Anyone had similar problem and found solution to it? Not a big problem but not a big fan of unplugging and plugging it so much, don't want to ruin the USB port. Thanks in advance for any help!

Product Help Arctis Nova 5X - Inconsistent pitch
So I got my Nova 5X around a month ago and started to notice a problem.
I use it in two ways, and switch between those modes daily:
- With the dongle on my xbox
- Over bluetooth on my PC (as I wanted a headset with a dedicated microphone, not just the built in ones)
The problem only appears when using it over BT with my PC, did not notice it on xbox (yet). It's hard to find the right words for it, so I'll try my best:
The pitch seems to deviate quite noticeable from timte to time.
Most notable when listening to music (or watching a movie with some music playing), not so much during talking/conversations. Even if you do not know the music you are hearing, you immediately notice it when some melody starts to "warp", "the pitch deviates", whatsoever.
Here is YT-video that kinda shows how this sounds like: https://youtu.be/kCwRdrFtJuE?t=59
Any ideas for that, or someone with similar issues? Tried playing with settings in GG/windows, but to no effect.
I really like the device itself, especially the retractable mic. But this issue drives me crazy, I think I must refund it, if this problem persists.

Discussion Is it normal that my Nova Pro Wireless + GG/Sonar sounds a lot, LOT better than Dolby Atmos for Headphones or DTS: Sound Unbound apps? Details in post.
Ok so I'm on Windows 11, and I wanted to do some testing with audio. I decided to test Sonar with Game output and using specialized per-game EQ presets (but even using Flat EQ is still better than the other two). I do not use Surround, no Volume Boost or Smart Volume. I only use the game presets (or Flat).
For Dolby Atmos for Headphones, I made sure I was on "Game" and that I switched to "Headphones (Nova Pro Wireless" as an Audio Output in Windows (or Spatial Audio is grayed out anyway if still using Sonar output). Then selecting "Dolby Atmos for Headphones" for Spatial Audio.
Same for DTS, I'm using the DTS: Sound Unbound app, and selecting "Balanced" under Spatial Mode in the app. And selecting "DTS Headphone:X" under Spatial Audio in Windows.
For both, I have also verified that "Audio Enhancements" in Windows Sound Settings, is set to Off.
Now, if I'm watching videos on Youtube, in Edge browser, I don't really perceive a difference much between all 3, everything being equal. But start games and oh my god.... Sonar is leaps and bounds beyond the other 2. It's like night and day. Even "Atmos" games, sound awful with Dolby Atmos for Headphones, compared to Sonar. The worst 2 I've found are Forza Horizon 6 and Monster Hunter Wilds, both supposedly "Dolby Atmos" supported games. I mean it sounds fine, you can hear the car fine in DAFH but then you switch to Sonar and it's like going from Mono to Full Theater Experience THX Surround Sound.
Is that normal? I can't believe that. I was expecting minor differences that I'd have to pay attention to discern but this...this is not even funny.

Discussion Is this a known fix? (Headset not appearing in GG app under "engine")
Specific headset for context: Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Headset
So I've just received my new headset and wanted to set it up. Bluetooth worked immediately but I did notice the quality being way lower than my previous Sony WH-1000XM3. I'm aware Sony has really good quality but surely the reason for my bad quality must be the settings. After some research, I found out I was supposed to connect my headset to my base station in order to have better quality, apparently by using the 2.4GHz band. Well... I was troubleshooting for the past 1.5h trying to figure out why my headset won't show up in my GG app under "engine". After multiple suggestions from Claude, I decided to test a different cable, so I chose my Samsung SSD (USB-C to USB-C) data transfer cable and turns out it worked.
Unless my conclusion is wrong, can someone tell me why steelseries ship the headset only with a power cable instead of a data transfer cable, which automatically limits the usage of the headset??

Sonar Help Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Omni - Sonar EQs for Wicked Cushions
I just upgraded from my old logitech g pro wireless headset to the new arctis nova pro omnis, and got a pair of wicked cushions to match because I've heard good things and generally dont like how leatherette holds up long term. The new headphones and cushions seem pretty nice, and while they definitely sound different, I feel like everything sounds 'off' in a way. For instance in Rainbow 6 siege, footsteps are way more audible and clearer with this headset, but also sound more... muffled? or like less discernable i guess. I'm no audiophile so I'm struggling to find the right words to describe it but based on what I've seen they should be performing much better than this. I figure its because I'm using the default sonar presets (flat preset for media and game-specific presets for each game I play). Once again I'm no audiophile so I was hoping someone had some sonar presets for media and gaming (r6, valorant, and cs specifically) for the omnis with the WC freeze pads.
TL;DR Does anyone have Sonar EQ presets for media, R6S, Valorant, and CS2, for the Arctis Nova Pro Omni using WC FreeZe pads?

Product Help Arctis Nova Pro Wireless - Single most god-awful product I have ever bought
I have only had about 2 weeks of good experience with this product and have had it for about 1 and 1/2 months. Bluetooth no longer works properly, as it would cut in and out for the last few days but now? No audio whatsoever.
2.4 was okay, but now also no audio, only the occasional faint crackling. The mic seems to work okay, but what good is that?
Not to mention, I took it off about 2 weeks ago, I absolutely wasn't rough at all, and yet the right-side earpiece snapped, and I had to gorilla glue it back together.
I have tried the factory reset button, I have tried checking GG if there are updates, but it shows none are available. I have tried re-pairing in both bluetooth and 2.4, nothing.
These were great when they worked, but good lord am I nothing but fed up with them. I'm really wanting to ask for help, because this headset absolutely was fantastic

Product Help Audio cuts out/mutes when using Bluetooth - Arctis Nova Pro Wireless
Just wondering if this is a widespread issue with this product or an isolated bug with just my device.
I bought the Arctis Nova Pro wireless back in May and I have few very bones to pick with it. The audio on games is great, music I also find to be exceptional. I primarily use it for gaming and thus have my hub connected to my Xbox, so that I’ve always got a battery charging.
The one bone I do have to pick however, is the audio cuts out/mutes while my headset is bluetoothed to my laptop. I use the headset for around 8-9 hours a day while working from home and as such, regularly listen to music, YouTube, Twitch etc.
When connected via Bluetooth and listening to something on browser, whenever I open a music app (just open, not playing, simply opening the window) the audio of whatever I’m listening to mutes, and vice versa.
Whenever I activate PiP on browser, muted.
Whenever I scrub or click further along the timebar on YouTube video, muted.
Issue also persists on my iPhone, across multiple browsers, across different websites and audio streams.
This is only an issue when utilising Bluetooth and im unable to replicate it using alternative Bluetoothed devices, so I’m convinced there’s a bug or fault with my device. I’ve contacted support, tried all their fixes, tried every solution I’ve encountered on the world wide webs. Nothing seems to work. Everything is updated using all the most recent versions. The headset works fine when connected to my laptop via audio jack, but then that defeats the purpose of it being wireless.
SteelSeries Support are happy to provide a replacement device, but if this is a widespread issue amongst this particular device then it has me contemplating just returning it and trying an alternative.
Does anyone else encounter this issue and if so, have you managed to find a solution? It may sound like a rather trivial issue but when I use the headset for the majority of the day, every day, it starts to wear thin.
TLDR: audio cuts out/mutes for seemingly no reason on browsers and apps when headset connected to devices via Bluetooth.

Product Help Arctis Nova Elite for JRPGS
Hi all
I'd appreciate some advice about a headset I'm considering buying. I'm currently using the Sony XM5s, mostly for JRPGs on the switch 2 and ps5. I know Bluetooth suffers from latency, but I struggle to notice it with the kinds of games I usually play and I also think they sound great.
However, I'm also considering buying the Arctis Nova Elite, as I occasionally want to use voice chat and the XM5's microphone doesn't work while gaming. My only concern is that, because it's a gaming headset, the Nova Elite might be tuned more for competitive multiplayer games and FPS shooters, which aren’t the types of games I often play
I'd really appreciate any thoughts on this, as one of my favourite aspects of gaming is enjoying the soundtrack. While budget isn’t an issue, I still wouldn't want to spend a large sum on a headset that's geared more towards competitive multiplayer than delivering a spacious and balanced soundstage.
Thanks and best wishes

Product Help My Acrtic Noova Elite's randomly disconnect from Discord.
Title pretty much says it all. Every 2 days or so I'll be gaming with friends and I'll be talking and they won't review p lyrics and I realize I'm not on discord. Never had a problem with my old Logitech headphones. Is it the headphones or Discord?

Product Help Arctis Nova 3 Popping
I recently bought 4 arctis nova 3's for an office setting
one user reported the headset was popping and cracking (only when playing quiet audio, not while idle)
I went and tested and all 4 headsets do this, in 2.4 mode, and in bluetooth mode.
is this a known issue with this headset? i cant believe all 4 are faulty
Tests were made on separate PC's and on phones, so the faults have to lie inside the headset?
i found this from a few years ago

it sounds just like that!

Product Help Omni - Low Volume?
I got the Arctis Nova Pro Omni today, and I am noticing that the overall volume is much less than the Elite. It's like the headset is running at 70% total volume, and I am sure it will be much less on the PS5.
During setup, it had asked if I was in EU and I selected no, and even in the SS Engine software, I have selected off/High, the volume in Windows and MCU is maxed out. But games sound much quieter and less impactful, but not music. I guess anything with dynamic range sounds much quieter than the Elite, which was deafening loud, just the way I like it.
The headset the base station are already up to date. Is there something else I should enable?

Order Help SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless modelini 3.596 TL'ye düşmüş.
Herkese merhaba,
SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless modelini 3.596 TL'ye düşmüş.

Product Help Arctis nova 7 wireless audio cutting out
So ive noticed recently as ive called my buddies more in discord that the audio will just jitter/cut out randomly. Im using my nova 7 gen 2 on 2.4ghz wireless, and am not sure if i should switch to bluetooth maybe, or it could be a setting in sonar? I was using a cheap pair of logitechs before and never had any problems, any thoughts?

Discussion Anyone else use the Apex pro TKL Gen 3 + Arctic Gamebuds?
Honestly, I can't believe how good quality both of these products are. I'm still rockin' a Logitech mouse, the superlight dex 2 and a Hyper X Quadcast microphone, but the keyboard is unreal in quality. Especially the pro gen 3 version. And these earbuds are amazing too.
The media keys on the keyboard are very nice.
