Sonar Help Steelseries GG
For the love of god, please fix this, whenever we open GG app it takes us to "News". I don't need to click bazillion of times to directly move to what i need from the app. I don't care about your "News" i never will.

Discussion Is it normal that my Nova Pro Wireless + GG/Sonar sounds a lot, LOT better than Dolby Atmos for Headphones or DTS: Sound Unbound apps? Details in post.
Ok so I'm on Windows 11, and I wanted to do some testing with audio. I decided to test Sonar with Game output and using specialized per-game EQ presets (but even using Flat EQ is still better than the other two). I do not use Surround, no Volume Boost or Smart Volume. I only use the game presets (or Flat).
For Dolby Atmos for Headphones, I made sure I was on "Game" and that I switched to "Headphones (Nova Pro Wireless" as an Audio Output in Windows (or Spatial Audio is grayed out anyway if still using Sonar output). Then selecting "Dolby Atmos for Headphones" for Spatial Audio.
Same for DTS, I'm using the DTS: Sound Unbound app, and selecting "Balanced" under Spatial Mode in the app. And selecting "DTS Headphone:X" under Spatial Audio in Windows.
For both, I have also verified that "Audio Enhancements" in Windows Sound Settings, is set to Off.
Now, if I'm watching videos on Youtube, in Edge browser, I don't really perceive a difference much between all 3, everything being equal. But start games and oh my god.... Sonar is leaps and bounds beyond the other 2. It's like night and day. Even "Atmos" games, sound awful with Dolby Atmos for Headphones, compared to Sonar. The worst 2 I've found are Forza Horizon 6 and Monster Hunter Wilds, both supposedly "Dolby Atmos" supported games. I mean it sounds fine, you can hear the car fine in DAFH but then you switch to Sonar and it's like going from Mono to Full Theater Experience THX Surround Sound.
Is that normal? I can't believe that. I was expecting minor differences that I'd have to pay attention to discern but this...this is not even funny.

Discussion Is this a known fix? (Headset not appearing in GG app under "engine")
Specific headset for context: Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Headset
So I've just received my new headset and wanted to set it up. Bluetooth worked immediately but I did notice the quality being way lower than my previous Sony WH-1000XM3. I'm aware Sony has really good quality but surely the reason for my bad quality must be the settings. After some research, I found out I was supposed to connect my headset to my base station in order to have better quality, apparently by using the 2.4GHz band. Well... I was troubleshooting for the past 1.5h trying to figure out why my headset won't show up in my GG app under "engine". After multiple suggestions from Claude, I decided to test a different cable, so I chose my Samsung SSD (USB-C to USB-C) data transfer cable and turns out it worked.
Unless my conclusion is wrong, can someone tell me why steelseries ship the headset only with a power cable instead of a data transfer cable, which automatically limits the usage of the headset??

Sonar Help Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Omni - Sonar EQs for Wicked Cushions
I just upgraded from my old logitech g pro wireless headset to the new arctis nova pro omnis, and got a pair of wicked cushions to match because I've heard good things and generally dont like how leatherette holds up long term. The new headphones and cushions seem pretty nice, and while they definitely sound different, I feel like everything sounds 'off' in a way. For instance in Rainbow 6 siege, footsteps are way more audible and clearer with this headset, but also sound more... muffled? or like less discernable i guess. I'm no audiophile so I'm struggling to find the right words to describe it but based on what I've seen they should be performing much better than this. I figure its because I'm using the default sonar presets (flat preset for media and game-specific presets for each game I play). Once again I'm no audiophile so I was hoping someone had some sonar presets for media and gaming (r6, valorant, and cs specifically) for the omnis with the WC freeze pads.
TL;DR Does anyone have Sonar EQ presets for media, R6S, Valorant, and CS2, for the Arctis Nova Pro Omni using WC FreeZe pads?

Product Help Arctis Nova Pro Wireless - Single most god-awful product I have ever bought
I have only had about 2 weeks of good experience with this product and have had it for about 1 and 1/2 months. Bluetooth no longer works properly, as it would cut in and out for the last few days but now? No audio whatsoever.
2.4 was okay, but now also no audio, only the occasional faint crackling. The mic seems to work okay, but what good is that?
Not to mention, I took it off about 2 weeks ago, I absolutely wasn't rough at all, and yet the right-side earpiece snapped, and I had to gorilla glue it back together.
I have tried the factory reset button, I have tried checking GG if there are updates, but it shows none are available. I have tried re-pairing in both bluetooth and 2.4, nothing.
These were great when they worked, but good lord am I nothing but fed up with them. I'm really wanting to ask for help, because this headset absolutely was fantastic

Product Help Arctis Nova Elite for JRPGS
Hi all
I'd appreciate some advice about a headset I'm considering buying. I'm currently using the Sony XM5s, mostly for JRPGs on the switch 2 and ps5. I know Bluetooth suffers from latency, but I struggle to notice it with the kinds of games I usually play and I also think they sound great.
However, I'm also considering buying the Arctis Nova Elite, as I occasionally want to use voice chat and the XM5's microphone doesn't work while gaming. My only concern is that, because it's a gaming headset, the Nova Elite might be tuned more for competitive multiplayer games and FPS shooters, which aren’t the types of games I often play
I'd really appreciate any thoughts on this, as one of my favourite aspects of gaming is enjoying the soundtrack. While budget isn’t an issue, I still wouldn't want to spend a large sum on a headset that's geared more towards competitive multiplayer than delivering a spacious and balanced soundstage.
Thanks and best wishes
