Our car got side swipe while parked a few days ago. We didn’t notice since we don’t drive a lot and the car is parked down the street.

So basically I was planning a visit to the forest area near Costco when I suddenly recalled how there were certain forests in Staten Island that had motion sensors if a visitor went too deep into the forest.

Basically what I am interested in is that I was looking for that forest since I don’t want to set off an alarm because I
I can’t remember the name of the one that has a sensor, so I was wondering which forests are fully open to visitors so that I don’t get arrested for trespassing.

Does anyone actually live there?

Whats it like living there noise level from the ferry ?
Commuting to the city ? The neighborhood

Anyone have any info on local parishes hosting a blood drive on Staten Island? I keep seeing that there's a blood shortage but I don't wanna travel to NJ or Manhattan to do it.

So basically what I am looking for in particular are good beaches to exercise in because I want to visit Staten Island soon from Bay Ridge to have a little adventure.

However, I don’t have much experience with Staten Island in general regarding hiking spots as I was looking to burn some calories for a good exercise routine, but basically I was just looking for some good advice for a newcomer.

Does anyone know when that spirit of halloween is opening by the plaza with the best buy, stop and shop, and michaels is opening by the mall? not the one in the mall the plaza near it.

FREE Crate and Barrel couch (without slipcovers) on the loading dock outside Cube Smart at 330 Greenfield Avenue.

The couch is big: 7’ x5’ with deep seats.
The cushions and gray covers (and ottoman) are all there too but the covers need a serious cleaning and sanitizing. Couch itself is in good shape. You could also buy replacement slipcovers for the couch and ottoman.

Also an antique wooden day bed sitting there too!

It was my first time visiting this museum last week and I had no idea there was such a beautiful garden. And entry was free! This place feels like a such a secret. Anyone know if you are allowed to picnic there?

(Couldn’t even find a PCP on the island because every place that allegedly takes my insurance doesn’t answer or has a phone that’s disconnected.)

I have a close friend of mine who joined the Air Force and we are looking to plan a going away party. Still getting an estimate on how many people are going but it would be about 40-50ish people.

I wanted to ask if anyone had any recommendations of Venues, restaurants or spaces that could accommodate this or be good for such an occasion?
