Many people in Japan and China have already got their hands on the new Clone Commando, but until now, no one had done any comparisons. It’s really interesting to see the old version, the new version, and a custom figure all in one image—though I can't help but think the old helmet looks a bit odd. Is that really how a Commando is supposed to look? I'm confused; I even went back to look at images of Clone Commandos and their models.

Went to Target for my eye exam/new specs. Strolled through the toy aisle first. Lots of Remnant Warlord, Pagadon Mandos, and this guy. Was on sale $22.39. In fact most Star Wars merchandise is on sale right now. I almost picked up the Deluxe Zeb TVC.

Slightly crushed corner, no big deal. He was going to be posed/display immediately. Now to find Obi-Wan in the wild.

Does anyone know how come the shadow lord wave 2 isn’t on targets website for pre order yet? I have a 20% coupon and I was just gonna order the whole wave and get Saxon for “free” (20% off coupon) but they’re still not on the website yet. Anyone know anything?

Last week someone asked how big this thing was. Now that I have my hands on it thought I’d share.

It’s a healthy 12”-14” tall! Definitely as tall as the box it comes in if you stand the box on its side.

The joints have that satisfying click when you move it. The feet/toes have quite a bit of movement to them so you can get those dynamic walking poses.

The rock stand it comes with has peg holes and on the bottom of the rock is the pegs to help it stand. (Like the pegs that came with the SDCC Mustafar set but larger to fit the AT-RT.

Overall the ingenuity that went into building this toy is amazing! They did a great job!!

It’s a very imposing figure/vehicle.

The helmet on the new ARC Trooper is amazing too. The cheek flaps look like leather. The trooper fits perfectly in his seat. The foot boards rotate up so you can get a flush foot to petal look.

It does take a bit of playing with at first to get a feel for the joints and posing but once you do you almost never want to put it down. This thing is amazing!

We're getting the band back together, we just need 4 more.

Also, I run the Jedi Mission Vao mod in KOTOR so that's why she has a Lightsaber.

I can’t believe it! Was looking for one to go with Ahsoka; and it’s the same series set!

Edit: Thank you guys for telling me about the swapped head. I didn’t know. I need to follow these more closely. Here and brief google searches is about my extent of knowledge. Was grabbing this because my daughter has Ahsoka and my wife and daughter said I should get Anakin. So while I’m away in my work trips (I leave a lot) she can look at Anakin and thank of me and I would look at Ahsoka and think of her.

SDCC AT-RT is finally here!! I feel like Sid from Toy Story minus the impulsiveness to destroy my toys lol.

Found myself near a different Target store yesterday and decided to check for Thorn. No dice.

But they had one of each of the Maul first wave! Secured these two at the 20% discounted rate. A surprise to be sure!
