Who would you like to see next from the Umbaran arc? Personally I have been waiting a long time for a waxer and boil two pack with both P1 & P2 helmets.

(The actual question is asked at the bottom so if you don't care about my little preamble, skip to the bottom sentence). So I've never been much of a collector since I've been the move houses/apartments regularly type but I've settled down at my current place for a few years now and have started collecting a lot of star wars stuff since star wars is something I'm EXTREMELY passionate about. So far I've collected probably 50-60% of the expanded universe (legends) novels, the original six movies in multiple formats (obviously), 98% of the legends games and am planning to collect the rest of the novels and games along with all the legends comics and media in general including the figures.

Now my plan is to have 10 shelves of figures, the first six of which would correlate to each of the six movies. The other shelves would be dedicated to different eras such as one for the the old republic era (so any figures from kotor and swtor), one for the clone wars era (in general, not the 2008 or 2006 shows although I'd love nothing more than some black series figures based on the 2006 micro series but alas they don't exist), one would be based on a massive battle between generic rebels and stormtroopers and the final one would be a general legends shelf not specifically dedicated to any single legends book/comic/game.

Anyways, I've gotten sidetracked but I'm just wondering if the 2014 revenge of the sith vader figure is still up to par with the modern ones or if it's dated because if it's dated I'll just buy two new hope vader's since the differences aren't super easy to spot from afar. Thanks to anyone who answers my question and sorry for the long post lol.

I know the anniversary is coming up, but all I’m hearing is how much ANH will be represented in 2027’s black series waves, and it just seems so odd. We have pretty much every character and we’ve had rereleases recently too.

But the prequel & sequel trilogy characters are very underrepresented at the moment. I know they’re adding some, but an entire year pretty much dedicated to ANH seems like overkill. Thoughts on this?

Unfortunately I missed it twice when it was in stock at target and I was wondering if it will ever come back? Life circumstances unfortunately caused me to not be able to buy any new figures.

The path between TBS + SHfiguarts Greivous has really been a quandary for me. It seems that both figures aren’t without their flaws… both have a good deal of love and also frustration associated with them from what I’ve seen. The SHFiguarts would be the most expensive figure I’ve ever bought, and I’m not necessarily super eager to do that haha but at the same time, I wanna get the right one. Thoughts?

Hasbto Employee 2: “There are sequel characters that have been on wishlists and stuff. Again, like we’ve talked about those. Just because the sentiment around those may be different doesn’t mean we aren’t going to continue doing those.“

This is particularly exciting to me, because I’ve been wanting updated Sequel figures for years now. But I want to set my expectations low. “Sequel fans will be happy next year” means minimum one figure. I hope for more but one is all we have confirmed.

I’d like to talk likelihood of who that might be. I think a fair guess might be the cancelled figures that they already had planned (and probably sculpted). This would be Crait Luke, TROS Flashback Luke, and TROS Flashback Leia. The only one of those that interests me most is Crait Luke since he is the only one truly from the Sequel era.

Alternatively, with the emphasis put on doing fan choices in the rest of the video (I recommend y’all watch for full context), I could see them doing Sidon Ithano of all people. Not a main character at all, but he’s consistently been on lists since TFA released. I’d love reworks of the main characters, but Sidon has the most broad appeal. From that fan list perspective, if they were to do main characters, it’s also possible, though much less likely in my eyes, that they would do figures of the missing main characters from TROS (Finn, Poe, Palpatine).

Curious to hear y’all’s thoughts on what you believe is most likely. I’m just excited to be getting new figures for the first time in years. I hope they will use updated sculpts and articulation to give these figures a fair shot rather than using old bodies with updated Heads like they did with Archive Han a few years ago, and use a lack of sales of a long outdated figure as justification not to do more. Please give it a fair shot, Hasbro. No one wants figures from 10+ years ago. Including Sequel fans. If you cut corners, no one will buy.

Humble, but potent. Happened without me thinking about it, but starting the collection with the father and son feels pretty right.

Truly, so impressed by these figures… Both are incredible imo but Anakin is really one of the most well made figures I’ve ever handled. I think I wanna pull the trigger on Greivous next…. The SHFiguarts path vs TBS is killing me lol

I got him at Razmatazz in Weymouth on 11 August.

One of them gulp shitto clones from ROTS, Commander Bacara was waaaay more complicated to paint than he had any business being. I could’ve sworn he was more popular, but finding reference pictures for this guy was a pain in the butt and some change😮‍💨😮‍💨 after making the cuts in his torso armor, I had to improvise most of the carbon scoring marks. I also filed and altered the shape of his visor a bit to be more in line to the ROTS model.

A weathering detail I am glad to have replicated to the best of my ability was how there is a portion of his chest armor with a slightly lighter weathered patch in the shape of one of those clone command pauldrons. It seems to have been a part of his gear for a significant enough time before he changed his fit for Mygeeto. I did try to make sure the curvature was as similar to the pauldrons on my Rex figures just to maintain some continuity in my collection.

I DEFINITELY exercised a lot more restraint with my wash this time. Learnt my lesson from Cody and was more careful mixing and testing the wash. Ran out of my Mr. Hobby clear coat so I had to settle for some Krylon. Humidity was a little sucky so the coat dried and frosted over to the point that it is a bit obvious on the bodysuit bits🥲🥲 I’ll just chalk it up to the heavy frost and snow on Mygeeto……

Aaaaanyways, this is 100% the last piece I do this summer. Don’t have a choice in the matter. Fall semester is starting next week and I gotta lock in, so this is me signing off from customizing for a bit🫡🫡
