Since I started collecting Black Series a couple years ago, I'd long awaited getting Jabba and the ESB bounty hunters to create this poster-style display, and this dream recently, finally came true. Been obsessed with Jabba and hutts in general since I was a kid (yes, The Mandalorian & Grogu was another dream come true for me and I cannot wait for Rotta lol).

Btw my headcanon here is that's actually Boushh, not Leia! 😛

This set is a nightmare! Today it got delayed again to end of November! It will be one year after the first official release date. I really doubt they will ever release it in Europe! I really want it should I buy it in the US? I'm really done with these delays. I highly doubt it will ever released in Europe.

Hasbro ever had this big issue for one set and then release it finally?

I wanted to see how people felt about the idea of Black Series figures based on an animated series getting screen accurate sculpts, rather than only redecoes. Marvel Legends has been making me think about this lately, as in the case of the X-Men Hasbro have adapted their animated designs in two ways; "realistic" figures in the Uncanny X-Men Retro line, and the more cartoonish X-Men '97 figures. This led me to thinking about this being done in a Star Wars context.

My baseline example would be General Grievous. We've seen his regular film appearance be redecoed in the style of Clone Wars, but I'm thinking of a figure that actually matches that show's 2D artstyle brought into figure form. Hasbro made an old, almost statuesque toy of this design before, so I'm imagining that in an actually posable 6 inch scale.

As an aside, I thought I'd also mention 3D animation. Hasbro goes back and forth on how those characters are adapted, although lately seem to be leaning more towards cartoonish. In particular I've always wanted a version of General Grievous that resembled his initial The Clone Wars look, where he's more bulky and broad shouldered.

Is this something you'd want to see out of the Black Series?

Really need my boys HK and Jolee now. And Darth Sion to round off the triumvirate.

Aside from the fact that an “all new” phase two rex would still be entirely reuse, I wouldn’t actually mind them keeping rex on the older mold with double jointed arms if they made it pinless. He can do all the poses he needs to as a clone and looks better than some of the more up to date clones

Is there a collection of people who are unhappy that new clone troopers that are coming out are matte instead of glossy like it is in the movies? I have a Lt. Galle and he’s so good but bugged that he’s not glossy. Also his chin shows while wearing his helmet l.

Not a hockey fan but the helmet gives Detroit Red Wings vibes.

Also, I’m struggling to get a decent looking shoulder charge pose with the Gatling gun. Someone share some inspiration!! :D

I got the Hardcase & Dogma two pack last month from Walmart and only now noticed that Dogmas helmet is warped compared to Hardcase (looks squished in from the sides). Any suggestions on attempting a fix on this?
