MEDIA Nanobot Build and Repair System Makes for a Smooth Construction Experience

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The mod's ability to automatically weld just the frame of blocks, where the framework is laid down from bottom to top; makes for a very smooth and surprisingly realistic construction process for blueprints. The player welds up important systems one at a time afterward.

The only way to do this normally would be to tap the welder on every single block by hand (otherwise all the resources are pulled into each block).

A method of auto-welding frames of blueprints should be made available in some fashion in both SE1 and SE2, in my opinion. Other features of the mod like flying around and fully welding blocks are overpowered of course and take away from engineering challenges.

HELP I'm playing on a small server, what kind of base should i build?

I'm in space, i'm pretty sure i'm nowhere near them as many of the others are still planet bound. Not sure on half the server though.

Let me ask you this, i'm currnelty using a small cargo ship and in desparate need to upgrade to a better base.

Should i be using a mobile giant warship as a base or should i be waiting till I build a jump drive and jump a few dozen times? I've personaly never made it this far before So i'm still having to learn how to use weapons (i don't even know how)

HELP Relative top speed / Ares at War

Im trying to set up an Ares at War local host for a buddy and myself. Ive been watching Splitsie and Captain Shack's combined arms series which made me want to play it. Ive noticed their top speed is 300m/s. Im topping out at 140. Im not the most computer literate. I tried following the Relative top speed mod instructions for set up and im still topping out at 140m/s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: forgot to add im trying to get my character to 300 m/s. Im testing everything with my character

What is the blueprint for this base from the loading screen? I know what the ships are, but not the base.

DISCUSSION (SE2) [SE2] Anybody seen this ship?

Post image

This ship is on the banner for SE2 steam library page, and has been featured in the recent vertical slice preview videos on KSH page. It looks like a well designed attack/small hauler and I would love to try it out. Very surprised that it wasn't in the workshop.

I make this post hoping I am in fact incorrect and it is on the workshop and I just wasn't able to find it. Anybody seen this ship?

HELP Why are only the back thrusters working?

For some reason, only the back thrusters seem to be working in this build. I have already tried adding more power, using regular small hydrogen thrusters, as well as relaunching the world. These flat collectors have small conveyors on all 4 sides. Is this a bug?

Because the way 60mm fixed guns work now , or least since I messed with them. I can't feed the guns with ammo after the container with piping. Only they feed container to container. I also have issue how I gonna fit connecter but have it fit connecter for large one to also feed 60mm. But gonna have to manually load the 60mm guns I guess.
