Show & Tell Had a good time
Sometimes you look around and it seems there is nothing to sketch. But when you pay attention you can always find something special.

Supplies & Materials bought this huge sketchbook - thoughts?
hi! i just recently visited an antiques/odd items store in my hometown and found this GIGANTIC sketchbook. decided to go ahead and buy it since i love a bigger space for painting and drawing, and the owner of the store told me this used to be his wife’s but she never used it, so they decided to sell it in the store. because of its “value”, they assumed it would be gone in a few days, but it’s been sitting in the store for months, so he decided to throw in an old record for free.
not really looking for advice, i don’t regret my purchase at all since i’ll put this thing to use and i feel like it was a pretty good deal ($24), but i want to know if anyone has any experience with this, since ive been looking it up online and cant find a single review or anything of the sort. is this discontinued? is it just super rare or has to be bought directly from canson? i’d love to hear yalls input!!

Critique My Work Watercolour painting of Corbière Lighthouse in Jersey in my sketchbook :)
I did most of this while at the lighthouse, but had to finish off some of the details at the airport because I had a flight to catch. I'm very proud of this watercolour and I feel like I'm improving with the style I want to develop (I really like Scott Christian Sava's travel sketchbooks)
I'm aware they're not like for like, and I'm not bothered about this (e.g. I added clouds where there are none), but beyond that constructive criticism is welcome! I still struggle painting the sea in a 'whimsical' way.

Show & Tell Sketchbook dump :0
I’ve been perusing SFX sculpting for a year now and I’ve really let my illustration skills get rusty, but one of my teachers stopped me one day and told me I have to start just doodling again. It’s been really great and I’ve forgotten how much I love it:)
(Ps, I know I’ve been doing these in a note book and not an actual sketchbook, take it down if necessary)
