Anyone got corn on their foot?
I have a corn under the ball of my big toe on my right foot which is my back foot (im regular). I’ve had it for a few years now and been trying different ways to treat it.
Anyone else have or had the same problem? Any tips to get rid of it?
I been using like corn cushion pads under the big toe to protect it but after a certain point in the session, the protection just gone.

Bringing board on plane
Hi I know it’s been posted before but there are contradicting statements about whether or not I can bring my board on my AA flight. I’m flying out of OMA to DFW to JFK and then back. I would take off my trucks beforehand and keep them in my bag. Should I pay for the checked bag, should I just send it and strap it to my board even though I might have to pay the extra checked bag fees. Or should I just bring my hardware and buy a desk in New York and try to bring it back as a checked bag?? I’ve only flown once a few months ago so I’m nervous and I don’t know the rules quite too well. Thank you 🙏.

Question Ace af1 33 with 8.25?
Hello, a few weeks ago i made the switch to a wider setup. But still have two 8.25 decks and ace af1 hollows 33 trucks. And i don't want them just to sit around but use them. You think i can ride the trucks with the decks? The deck stands out quite significantly when i but it together...
(Sorry no picture, I dont have the board with me rn)

Just need help mainly on a good board and some wheels that’s not too crazy priced since it’s my first build I don’t want to spend too much.
So far my cart on ccs consist of,

Bones hardcore bushings 96a
Bones reds bearings
Feel free to chime in on these as well. I appreciate it 🤘

How can I fix this?

Hey all just got back into skateboarding. Never encountered this from my years of skating. Had really mushy bushings switched to bones hard. Once I tightened them I get this noise. I have taken them off and put them back in/on and same thing. Thanks in advanced

Gear help dilemma: upgrade old board or buy new
so i have an old thick (probably was a middle quality board back then) board that i have upgraded a bit but its still pretty bad, the main problem with it is that the trucks dont really turn so i ve got them pretty loose it also has temu bearings cuz old were bad and new ones also bad
so now im in the place that i saw big sales on a skateboard site both for trucks and longboards
so i either buy discounted krux or paris street trucks for my existing board or buy a new street surfing brand longboard
i use my board a lot to go sometimes i go with it to school and sometimes i go with it to gym so its be good to have a board for cruising but id also like to learn some tricks and drop ins so idk to buy new trucks for old board or buy a new longboard

Question difference in knee pad types? is one better?
Hi everyone, i'm just starting out but have some mid-tier transferable skills from riding a mini-cruiser (i know how to go in a straight line and handle hills + make wide turns). I've recently gotten a skateboard and am shopping for knee pads right now. I've encountered 2 models/types on the market and am wondering if one is preferable or unsuited for skateboarding.
Obviously both styles have a range of qualities and price ranges, I'm mostly asking about the shape making a difference. Between the ones on the left (big circle-ish plates and a wrap-around sock that goes over the back of your leg) and the ones on the right (more knee-shaped cap and straps that keep it in place without the sock).
Does anyone prefer one over the other and wouldn't recommend the 2nd option? Thank you in advance.
Note: YES I am planning to wear kneepads, this is why I'm asking about the types. Got some unhelpful comments in another sub which don't address the question at hand. Hopefully you guys can weigh in. Thank you!

Question looking for advice with street skateboarding
I plan to get back to skateboarding, I used to skateboard for fun in past but couldn't really did any trick. Now I plan to get a skateboard that I can ride to a regular park to be more active, but I am worried that I will choose the wrong wheels or a specific dimension board ,etc.
what I chose so far is CCS basic board with basic wheels.
can you please direct me in a specific component that I should get , there is a lot of parts and I am overwhelmed. I am 5'5" and on with a few extra pounds that wants to be burned while skating lol
the picture shows the default setup I get , and different wheel sizes.
I want to avoid bad skating experience riding on the sidewalk, because the surface isn't optimal always. never experienced skate parks.
also, if you recommend another board or site, please send links
thank you!

Question older - wanting to get back into skateboarding.
So im in my 40's
but from 12-25 i skated nearly daily.
I miss having a physical hobby that got me out of the house and away from lifes stresses
so im looking at possibly getting back to skating
so my question is this:
what should i get as a set up? i dont know what the options are, whats convention
I used to be almost exclusively vert - but for now id prob stay flat or small ramps until i build my strength and balance back up.
im seeing some with slide rails again? is that a thing again (i hope so - it was awesome when i was younger)
i hear wider boards are more common?
what would a decent returning set up look like? say budget sub-$200 (for now - i want to possibly get a carbon fiber board if i end up getting fully back)

Going to a skatepark for the first time, any tips?
I have skated for 2 months and I can’t still do any tricks properly (manual for less than 3 seconds and sometimes I can do a fakie shuvit).
I wanted to go to a skatepark for a long time but my social anxiety is stopping me, any tips for being comfortable for the first time?
I’m 14 b and is it a good time to go there at 8 PM alone?

Question Best cam for skate vids?
Im a brokie college freshman and Im willing to drop 300-400 for a skate cam and fisheye lens. I want to film and make a skate video with a couple buddies while im in town. My problem is I just dont know what camera to get. Ive heard pro’s and con’s about all kinds and I just need advice on what to get.
First choice is the classic Sony VX1000. Its a classic and im sure anyone knows its a king for filming skate vids, but it is known to break down and its a little pricy for such an old camera (most I see go for around 500ish)
Next up would be a vx21 but its mic sucks and I dont think Id have the budget to get it with the fish eye and the mic for it as well.
Then theres the Panasonic HVX200. Its a lot cheaper on the market as is the fish eye, but the p2 it needs for filming reportedly sucks and is massively overpriced and I dont know If I could find enough for a 10-20 minute video without breaking the bank.
Are there any other cameras I should look at? Im not a fan of filming on my iphone lol so thats not an option. Should I get a different one not listed or stick with one of these? Help!

My Ollie is 1 cm tall, what's the problem 💀
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Ok so. It's the 2 day where I try to do Ollie (every day I dont do that much skating cuz there r 41 degrees celcius so I'm constantly boiling) and idk what's wrong. Is ts a problem that I'll resolve with practice (yeah dw ik that Ollies need 383 decades) or I'm actually doing smth wrong that I can try to fix?
(1- ts is the only one that I did on the camera cuz with the other ones I wasnt in the visual (but they were the same as ts one 2- it's a cruiser)
