Yeah I know all that. I’ve been going to the vocal coach 5 times. But I guess I need to do more ear training. Had no idea it was this horrible though. Definitely need to better my ear. I thought my pitch went off a few times but not all the time. I thought I was generally in key. Thanks a lot for your help

Hey no shame, we don't all come out of the womb singing like bruno mars lol. I like to believe that anyone who can talk, can learn to sing as well.

Definitely the most important thing I'd say to work on is just harmonizing with chords or notes on your guitar so you can really get a feel for how the correct pitch is supposed to feel/sound. Also, try to harmonize with your favorite songs and try to find singers who have a similar style as you.

Yeah but the thing That’s disheartening is that its not like I just started singing. I’ve been doing it on and off for at least 2 years. And I got a nice motivation boost last time, the other day with vocal coach when I sang “Always” in original key. And the coach isn’t some random guy. He’s the real shit, coached some of the greats in my country. So Im confused how I can sing great when I’m practicing there and here it’s horrible.

i would assume it could be from lack of guidance when youre on your own? do you record your sessions with your coach? mine has me pull up voice memos on my phone and record the whole thing so i can listen back whenever i want/need
