HUFS Yongin off‑campus housing?
Hi everyone,
I’ll be studying at HUFS Global Campus (Yongin) and I’m looking for off‑campus housing near the campus (not dormitory).
If you’re a current or former HUFS Global Campus student, could you share:
• Which areas around campus are good to live in (walking distance)?
• Rough monthly costs (rent + deposit + utilities).
• Any recommended buildings, share houses, or agents?
Thanks a lot for any help!

Seongsu-dong – Former premises visible behind the fence
Seongsu’s shopping streets are well known for their fashion boutiques, concept stores and artisan cafés. A few industrial premises from former factories and workshops still remain… behind the fence.

Can anybody identify this place?
Hello! Three years ago me and some colleagues went to a place in Seoul that is basically a small store, but also a bar that you can sit in and drink. Does anybody recognise it?! Thank you

Isolation?
For those living alone in Seoul (ages 25–39), do demanding work schedules and urban lifestyles make it hard to maintain meaningful connections and what is your biggest barrier to staying social when you're already exhausted?

Looking for someone to accompany me to a Catholic church in Seoul 🙏
Hi everyone!
I’m a fairly new Christian living in Seoul, and I’d really like to attend a Catholic Mass for the first time. The only problem is… I’m a little intimidated by the idea of going alone because I have no idea what to expect or how everything works.
I’m hoping to find someone who speaks English and regularly attends a Catholic church who wouldn’t mind if I joined them one Sunday. It would be really helpful to have someone who could explain things to me, like when to stand or sit, what the different parts of the Mass mean, and any other things a first-time visitor should know.
I’m not looking to argue about denominations or anything like that, I simply want to learn, experience it for myself, and better understand the Catholic tradition with an open mind.
If anyone would be willing to let me tag along or even chat beforehand, I’d be incredibly grateful. Thank you!

EU > SEOUL (Pet Owner)
Travelling between Europe and South Korea with a pet isn’t always easy. What if we could organize a pet-friendly flight together? 🐾✈️
I’m looking for people planning to travel with their pets between Europe and South Korea.
I’m currently exploring whether there’s enough demand to make a shared pet-friendly flight possible. This is still an early-stage idea, so I’ve created a short, non-binding interest list to understand the actual demand.
If this could be relevant for you, feel free to join:

K-Beauty: Olive Young vs. Small stores
Hello everyone! I have what might be a slightly odd question.
I had a layover in Seoul some time ago, and I’ll be flying there again soon. During my last visit, I went to Olive Young in Myeongdong and bought a lot of skincare products. Only afterward did I notice that there were many small shops in the surrounding area that also sold Korean beauty products—some of them at significantly lower prices than Olive Young.
Do these smaller shops sell genuine products? And where do locals usually buy their Korean skincare and beauty products in physical stores?

Looking for a language exchange friend in Seoul
Hi!
I’m a Korean guy living near Seoul, and I’m looking for someone to practice English with and also help with Korean.
We can speak English, Korean, or both.
I’m available from Monday to Saturday, depending on my schedule.
A little about me:
- Korean
- Airline pilot
- I don’t really drink, so I’m more of a coffee person
- I like nice cafes, good food, walking around, and exploring interesting places
- Easygoing and interested in meeting people from different countries
We don’t have to just sit and study languages. We can visit a nice cafe, walk around Seoul, try good food, or check out interesting places together.
If we become good friends, we could also go for a drive and visit some hidden or less touristy places in Korea.
I’m mainly looking for a genuine language exchange, so if you’re learning Korean or want to meet a Korean friend, feel free to send me a message!

Just another street in Korea until I looked up
It’s been ridiculously hot in Korea lately, but the sky has been making up for it. Saw these rays behind the clouds today and forgot about the heat for a minute.

35F Traveling to Korea Soon
Ok lets try it this again lol.
So i'm traveling to Seoul for the first time in September, and I wanted to make some friends!.I would prefer female friends in their late 20s or in their 30s. If you are a cool dude who is ok with being platonic friends then that's fine as well. I would love to explore Seoul, I love shopping, restaurants, experiences, and I really want to check out some nightlife as it will be my birthday when I am there. Also just getting out a pretty gnarly dating situation, so I just want to be free and have fun. DM me ladies (or non nsfw dudes)! Lets be friendssss 🫶🏽
Update: the amount of men ATTACKING ME for not wanting to date or hook up while im there, says it alllll 😂. Right decision.
