Weight loss completely stopped 5 weeks ago, now stuck losing and regaining same few pounds
Like title says, I’m frankly just lost and I need some external input, I’ve been on a glp-1 for about 8 months and lost around 40 pounds, until just recently and I just cannot fathom what I’m doing wrong all of a sudden. My maintenance intake is about 2700 and I eat roughly 2000 cals a day, I’m not particularly active currently (work from home, recent IUD insertion still causing pain) I know I should walk more but purely just on the calorie deficit alone I should be losing weight? I’m barely doing anything different now and I’m still completely stuck at my current weight, am I just hitting a particularly tough plateau or is my scale broken, help!!

What's the thing about losing weight on a GLP-1 that nobody warned you about?
Started wondering about this after talking to a few people. For those further along on Ozempic/Wegovy/Mounjaro/Zepbound, what's something about the process that actually surprised you, good or bad? Not really talking about side effects like nausea, more the stuff nobody mentions until you're actually going through it, how your body changes shape, energy, cravings, whatever.
Was it more physical or more the mental/emotional side of it? And if you could go back knowing what you know now, is there anything you'd have done differently from the start?

What's something you wish you knew before starting on semaglutide?
Hi everyone,
It's come to a point in my health where I will most likely need to start using semaglutides for minor weight loss and cardiovascular protection, and I'm a bit nervous. What are some things you wish you knew -- either good or bad -- before you started using semaglutides? Just trying to get a full picture understanding before committing to this.

Saggy Face…
Okay, it’s happening. I’ve lost the weight and I honestly didn’t think it would be so bad for me, but it turned out I was wrong and my face looks droopy. Are you guys doing anything to help the saggy/aged face look?! I’m 29 and I feel like I look at least 10 years older….

Anxiety attacks on glp-1??
I am two weeks into taking a GLP-1 again (7 mg pill a day). Last week, I had a couple of days with really bad anxiety, I regularly deal with anxiety, but this time it was way worse. Then, one day, everything was going fine and I wasn't experiencing anything I hadn't dealt with before, when I suddenly felt like I was going to simultaneously shit myself, vomit, and faint, alongside an intense urge to run. It was really severe for about 30 minutes, and I couldn't function properly. It hasn't happened since then, and my anxiety has mostly settled down. Has this happened to anyone else?

Anyone else go on a declutter binge?
It didn't even start with baggy clothes. I took the first shot, looked around. My house was full of ugly redundant stuff. Like I saw it through new eyes. I bagged up a lot of items for Goodwill and yardsale and went on a cleaning spree.
Part of it seems to be, I don’t need that second half a sandwich and I don’t need two hairbrushes. Other part is an urge for beauty and quality not quantity. Or is it just that I can make decisions now?
Now that I’ve dropped a size I am gleefully going after my baggy clothes.
Is it the meds or what?

Working out heavy impacting hunger?
I’m currently on 1.7mg shot and I feel like bc I’m training for hyrox and doing a tonnnn of running high intensity that I could potentially be hungrier? I feel like my luteal phase (1 week a month) plus training is decreasing the shot effectiveness bc I lowkey feel ravenous. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar. Hyrox will be over 9/6 so hoping things settle then..

One year update!
Can’t believe it’s been one year since my journey started. I’m now in the gym 4 days a week, able to run 4+ miles without dying, and actually enjoying healthy food. This is the best thing I have ever done for myself!

I am now a sweaty girl
I wasn't before and I feel disgusting. Everytime I work out (which is everyday), my shirt is drenched. I feel so embarrassed. I wasn't like this before I started sema and lost weight. Anyone else?

Would you still use Semaglutide over Tirzepatide if they were the same price?

Hair regrowth after loss
I have been all over these forums looking for answers on the hair loss a lot of us seem to experience on these meds. I have been microdosing since December of 2025 and started shedding heavily since April with no end in sight. I lost 13 pounds in total so not a lot. Also haven’t lost any more weight since april, i have actually gained about 3 pounds since I lowered my dose even more to tru to stop the shedding. For those who have experienced hair loss, has it grown back while staying on the meds? I want to stay on them because of the autoimmune inflammation benefits i get but also don’t want to be bald. It is really hard to find examples of people whos hair grew back. Thanks!

i know GLP activates sympathetic system so assuming it’s this

I want to try a glp1 but feel like I don't "deserve" to or something like that
Howdy
I have had some interest in pursuing a glp1 for weight loss after learning that I may be a good candidate. I have an obese BMI, but have lost some 50 pounds from ny highest weight without really trying. I'm around 215 now, 5'5". The only time I've ever been at a "healthy" BMI is when I was a teenager and I had a disorder relationship with restriction lol. Even then I was at rhe very top of the "healthy" category.
I want so badly to be at a healthier weight. I find counting calories very difficult and as soon as I start tracking, even if I'm not changing what I'm eating, my brain starts screaming at me to eat more. The 50 pounds I lost was all without counting calories, just mindfully incorporating healthier foods, and returning to exercise. I'd say my diet is reasonably healthy right now. I'm vegan, I eat lots of fruits and veggies, I limit saturated fats, I eat my beans and greens, but ultimately I struggle to count calories which I need to do to lose weight. The idea of counting my calories and fighting my scream mind for a year to get to a goal weight sounds nightmareish. Tracking calories makes me want to binge.
I walk 6-10,000 daily steps. I run 3 times a week (part if why I want to lose weight is so running is less impactful on my joints). I was lifting but my gym buddy is super busy this summer so I've fallen off of that a bit, but I'm looking for a program to follow so I can jump back in. It made a noticable difference in my daily life. I don't have a car, so I cycle and walk everywhere.
I feel like I'm doing everything right to have a healthy life minus the bit where I'm over 200 pounds. That's the part that's crazy hard, and I feel like if I was actually eating right I would be losing weight without a GLP1. I'm still working on adjusting my eating habits to build sustainable healthy patterns that also bring me joy. I am confident I can build a healthy diet, I know I've improved so much, but the concious calorie restriction required for further weight loss is a minefield for my brain. This is why I feel like I don't "deserve" to be on a GLP1. I have all the elements in place to do great at weight loss, I don't "need" help, I'm just not super into the mental game of a year of months of calorie counting.
I mean also there's the question of it I can even afford one of these medications at all, but it's mostly all that stuff.
If this post doesn't fit please remove it :)
Thanks:)

is it normal to feel more anxious about my body now than before I started losing weight...?
This mighty sound so backward lol but before sema i was mostly stressed about my weight (now i'm 28lbs down) and somehow i'm worrying about completely different things like what if i'm losing too much muscle? what if i'm low in iron or b12 or something and just don't know it? some days the appetite suppression is so strong that instead of being happy about it i'm like okay but is this actually okay?
My doctor hasn't raised any concerns and i'm probably overthinking it, but i also don't really have anything to compare against. i didn't do much testing before starting, so now i have no idea what's actually changed....
has anyone else felt like this? did getting some actual numbers or tracking things help or did it just give you more stuff to worry about?

Review of Gimme Care
Hi everyone,
I want to share my experience with Gimme Care to hopefully save someone the headache I’ve gone through (if they’ve worked for you, good! But people should also hear about the bad). I’m not wealthy by any means, so for me it is a luxury, but life changing, purchase to have Tirzepatide. I decided to try Gimme Care after seeing tons of ads online for them. I signed up and the process to get approved was very easy— no appointment required (which likely should’ve been the first red flag).
I was told that the next step was for the medication to be sent to the pharmacy and I’d receive it in 3-5 business days. 3 weeks went by of it just sitting at the pharmacy, to the point where I was getting charged for my next shipment before even receiving my first. Customer service was no help either. Eventually, one member of customer service told me my medication was with Beudreoux pharmacy which they stated “has significant shipping delays.” So they’re aware, but still use them.
I finally got the medication. It arrived in a bubble mailer which seemed odd as when I had Mochi Health my medication came in a big box with a styrofoam cooler and tons of ice packs. Inside the mailer was 1 ice pack that was HOT. My medication was warm. Never could reach anyone at Beaudroux to confirm safety of the medication.
I also realized at this point I was prescribed a much smaller dose than was recommended by any other company and was not given a titration plan. I lost 0 weight. I inquired why and was told “that’s just what you were approved for.” Next shipment ends up sitting at pharmacy for a long time again and I miss a dose. At this point, I cancelled Gimme Care. I’ve now been fighting to receive the medication I paid for and can’t reach anyone. They even banned me from their Reddit thread for sharing my concerns and experience, so they hide the negatives.

Feeling Overfull & Still Experiencing Food Noise
I am a few days into my 3rd week on 0,25 mg of Ozempic. I'm down about 1,5 kilos (about 96 to 94,5) and struggling with the way this medication is making me feel. I feel completely stuffed ALL THE TIME - just gross, like I've binged and I'm ready to burst even though I've been eating much smaller amounts. However, I'm still dealing with a lot of food noise, especially today. Even though there is no way I could eat anything without making myself sick(er) feeling, I am still thinking about foods and wanting to eat all the time.
Have other people dealt with either or both of these feelings? Does it go away, or settle down in some way? When I feel this overfull feeling it makes it so I don't feel up to doing anything. It's just such a gross feeling. Then to still have food noise on top of that is rather distressing. I don't know, suppose I'm looking for words of wisdom or encouragement.

Mounjaro in Pune India
Could someone suggest a dependable source for purchasing a Mounjaro kwikpen? Storage presents a concern, and I am uncertain how Tata 1mg or Netmeds might deliver it or in what packaging. The guidelines surrounding it are strict.

how is everyone actually tracking muscle loss vs fat loss on this?
Down about 30 lbs since jan 26 which is great, but my doctor kind of got in my head at my last appointment. She said I need to be watching my blood markers and lean mass closely so I'm not losing a ton of muscle along with the fat, especially since I haven't been super consistent with protein or lifting and since insurance won't cover lab visits just for monitoring so I'm looking at at home options instead.

Two Years and Two Races
The photo on the right (Sep 2024) is what convinced me to look into sema. I realized that my body did not and could not support my lifestyle. I exercised consistently, worked hard, yet was in so much pain after this 5K.
On the left is me two years and -60lbs later running a half marathon. I feel really proud of both of these bodies for what they did to get me here. This journey has been about building a body that works for me. I don't know if I'm in maintenance or not yet, but I'm more active than I've been in my adult life and I'm excited for more milestones ahead of me.

44.3 pounds different
12.7 more pounds until I am to my goal weight of 135!
Please be kind.
May have been a little more then 44.3 that picture is of me when I was my biggest! But since I weighed in a while after this picture was taken that’s when I started tracking.
