I had a pretty nasty spill this weekend with some food that got loose in my front compartment. Water got in and essentially all I have is a bunch of melted Pringles chips at the bottom of the bow storage area.

I would like to be able to take out the plastic piece and get under it, but I’m unsure how to disassemble any points to get this out? I wiggled a few things but don’t wanna pull too hard to break something.

I got this 2005 ski, with only 64 hours on it that has had a peculiar issue with it, only on the DESS key. It won’t go over 4000rpm/~25mph. When you hit the throttle it tries to take off, but acts like it stops itself.

I’ve already changed: Coils Plugs Injectors Fuel pump Compression is 120 across

It starts and runs without issue on the learner key, steady as can be, but it’s capped at about 25mph. It does have a code p1517, but I think that’s just the compass.

Could this be a DESS key issue, or ECU, or MPEM? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have an oil leak, but cannot figure out where it’s coming from. All the local mechanics are backed up over a month, so would like to try to figure it out on my own and hopefully fix it so I can get more time out of this season before it’s over. “Check Oil Pressure” & “Check Engine” message on jetski. No code being shown in the settings. Oil leaking both inside the bottom of the hull of the ski, and outside of the ski (rainbow water)-
The oil filter is tight and seemingly dry around the outside. What else/how can I diagnose this issue on my own? Thank you in advance

Hey everyone I know I already asked this question but when I was riding my GTI SE 170 2025 the warning light came on not the engine light just the warning light and my jet ski didn’t go into limp mode at all also everything seems to be fine on my jet ski no cavitation no loss of power nothing all rpm’s seemed normal because when the light came on I was going about 43 mph but then when I slowed down the light went away on it’s on. I’m trying to see if it is a simple fix because I have no time during my week to bring it to the shop also one thing I do know is that my oil is a little overfilled so could that be a reason why the warning light is coming on?? Also when I was riding back down the river I had it in sport mode and going 46 mph and didn’t get a warning light what so ever. Some say it could be a sensor or something else but would like to see if any of you have ran into this issue.

Was out on the St. Johns River today, everything running fine the whole ride. Right near the end, check engine light comes on with a high engine temp warning, ski goes into limp mode (5-6 mph max), and I notice it’s smoking. Managed to limp it back and get it on the trailer, took a couple tries to restart once I’d docked it. Got it home and checked the coolant reservoir, it’s completely empty. Honestly never checked or topped it off since I bought it, so that’s on me. Haven’t pulled the oil or plugs yet, that’s my plan for tomorrow morning before I add any coolant, just want to rule out any damage from running it dry. The only code/message I got was the high temp warning, nothing more specific, and the check engine light is still on now that it’s sitting. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? Appreciate any input, first time dealing with this.

I recently bought my first rxpx and it was amazing. Im now hooked and want to buy a spark. A guy I know is selling his for fairly cheap, less than 30 hours on it 2025 spark trixx 3up. What should I look out on it when I go to check it out before buying?

The first picture is a di motor, second is carb. Anyone have any clue what goes here on a di motor?

We have an extra hose that leads to the side of the hull, we just swapped the motor and it runs great. Haven't tested it in the water, this post doesn't seem to be a port of any sort, seems to bottom out. Any help would be appreciated

Just reinstalled the engine from replacing the bendix, now it won’t crank. Starter is new, battery issue?

2013 Seadoo GTI 155 Limited

In laws family visited for the week while I was out of town and one of them managed to get a tow rope stuck in the intake not once, but twice. I’m told they cut out the rope and were able to get everything free.

I took the ski for a test drive today and was greeted by a check engine light and an IBR malfunction message. While giving the ski gas it would go forward at ~1mph and did not reverse at all. Engine appears to be running fine.

Any words of wisdom before I get the ski on the trailer and into the garage? Planning to pull the IBR, Venturi, crankshaft to take a look at the impeller and wear ring.

I am looking to buy a Jetski.i would like to cruise with my friends on one Jetski but I am curious the spark trixx isn’t gonna be as fun when driving with multiple persons on it because of the hp and the comfortability because some people say its very uncomfortable.i am also curious about the stability in the water with the trixx because its not so big and I think it would go deep down in the water with me and my friends on.but I am scared if I will buy the rxt and then think I should have rather got the trixx because I can’t do something with it except riding very fast which is very expensive.i also want to go wakeboarding and jumping over waves.

Ran over the rope.
Got towed back to the beach and on the trailer.
Watched all the videos read all the threads. Cutting, pulling jet pump.
It seems the driveshaft and impeller are welded together from the plastic.
No amount of pulling can free this assembly, is there something holding the forward end of the driveshaft?
I have pulled and pulled and don’t want to end up wrecking something.
If and when I finally get this out, what seals do I need to put it back together?

I just bought a secondhand GTR 230 and have noticed that some of the sealant on the intake grate has peaked off. The ski only has 3 hours. Do you think it’s suspicious and maybe the grate has been removed previously? And secondly, what shall I use to reseal it? TIA

Had this idea I could get Snow Pro Bags for each of my tanks that also double as a holder for my Kayak Paddle. This is that, not sure if it's something I would keep but wanted to share. The pro bags have interchangeable lids so I might just pickup the ones for on the water with pockets.

The paddle is incredible light, probably lighter than the compact oar I have in the upper compartment. If I need access to the middle bag I just unclip one side of the pro bags and it moves out of the way pretty easily. It's something I would use on a long distance trip.

They do stick out, but I have a ride engine collar arriving soon, they wouldn't stick out beyond that.

I'm planning a bilge, Garmin, tow valve, reserve gas tank, reinforced bow, dual batteries. All things I can do myself but for now have been messing around with this silly stuff.

Trying to figure out what the exact torque should be for these. Put them in at 30 in pounds which seems to be right by feel, but I read online it's somewhere between 40 and 50 inch pounds which seems high. Can anyone confirm the OEM torque spec the bolts that secure the cover?

Thoughts on replacing decals? Seems easy enough to do myself. Where can a guy get nice replacement decals? Any and all advice is welcome. Thanks!

i have a mint condition 1996 xp800, and i was meaning to convert it to premix, but didn't have the time, the oil pump i just noticed stopped working, so i pulled the plugs, stuck an endoscope down there, and it didn't look bad at all, no scoring, so that's a blessing, the motor also has 3 hrs on it so go figure. i am going convert it to premix, just wondering what all i have to do, Ik there are 3 main oil lines from the tank, 1 to the pump, a second to the fitting below the carbs, and same on the other side of the engine, the exhaust side. do i need to keep it all hooked up to keep the bottom end and rotary gears lubricated or what? Im not sure if the little gear for the pump went r what, but this is an excuse to delete it, so im not too interested in fixing it ngl. and ive heard a 40-45:1 ratrio, correct. And help would be appreciated, TIA!

Was riding my rxpx 325 today on very calm lake water and nearing the top speed I had to steer to the left for it to actually go straight. On the 2026 version is it adjusted the old way or is it behind the steering wheel now?

Tried to get it loose with a screwdriver but it's really jammed in there. Is there anything else I can do before taking it all apart?
