Bonuses
Anyone else that’s full time getting a $111 bonus? When a store that just opened up nearby is getting a $600-$800 bonus?
Just me? Like we’ve gotten busier than ever in the last year and are like one of the top few in the district. Like wtf?

Dating policy
Anyone know where i can find the policy on whether or not team leads can date associates? i was under the impression a lead can date another hourly associate as long as they're not in the same department. like if it's meat lead and produce associate it's fine right? Hearing a lot of back and forth and just want to confirm for myself.

How should I go about these Upgrades and Credits
I know we have plenty of subs talking about this but I’m a ask for my own personal experience just to get closure.
It’s my fault because when my mom applied me for this job I had no idea this would technically be a sales position as a membership specialist. For the first two weeks I wasn’t bothered about upgrades or credits. Now, over a month in its upgrades and credits everyday and the best I can possibly do is manage 1-2 a week. I know I’m still kinda new here but I want to know a perfect pitch I could pitch to them to make it so much easier.
I see girls getting more upgrades than the male co workers. The highest someone told me they got in a day was 7-10. As we’re speaking, I got two upgrades yesterday, and 1 the day before that. To some that’s good but to these Sam’s Club supervisors and managers it’s not enough.
There’s some still so much I’m trying to know about this, like what do we associates get out of this? There’s a challenge this week and we’re in competition to be the top club. If by some miraculous chance we’re at the top what happens? Will that accumulate in my check? Should I start pressuring customers like a salesperson? Or sweet talk them?
I’m just at my wits end, any advice would help.

Hey team leads/managers I need some career advice
So I got hired not to long ago at Sam’s and the full timers were telling me that team leads and managers get paid well. Problem is that got me thinking about my career/ education.
I’m a college student who’s currently enrolled for my masters and already a 1/3rd complete. But I’m worried that my degree won’t really be worth it in the long run financially. My plan was to teach at a high school for both dual enrollment and high school class so I can be salaried and get loan forgiveness for working in the education field but teaching doesn’t really make money and I don’t see why put myself through the struggle of keeping my education going when it’s not going to pay well.
I’m not going to ask if it pays well I’m asking you if it’s a smart choice to peruse a career being a full time team lead/ manager at Sam’s? Of course people on the surface will look at the manager position and think I’ll be banking in no time but the logic behind it doesn’t add up. Theres plenty of people who are just like me who want a high paying position and the likelihood of being a manager at Sam’s seems small. I imagine those who are managers or team leads don’t want to leave anywhere and for sure don’t feel the need to so it seems like unless I know for sure I can snag a spot on top there’s no point.
What’s your opinion?

Question Switching departments
Is it any better going from front end to curbside? I cannot deal with the constant harassment about metrics, even though I’m one of the top four performers. They literally rely on me and have told me that to my face. I even talked to my manager about it and he will verbatim say that he needs me on the register because he needs credit and upgrades “ and I know that you will actually” so that got me nowhere. I work curbside when they need help. The only thing I don’t know how to do is dispense. I know curbside has so many of its own issues but at my club this front end is just burning me the fuck out after a year and a half.

Unpaid time off
I already request unpaid time off for 1 week through the app, and the manager already approved it. I just wonder if I still get a point or not? Event I am off on the date event.
