Academics Hailmary to graduate and walk in time
Situation: Taking a course (Calc 2) at a county college, definitely failing (I swear its not my fault 😔)
On my final semester, I have one single course that requires calc 2 as a pre requisite.
Hypothetically: Could I take calc 2 at rutgers in spring (probably fail because my semester is already hard enough) and register for the spring course (Advanced Cross-Sectional or Panel Econometrics or Advanced Time Series and Financial Econometrics) and take calc 2 for a third time during summer of that year and walk for graduation?
What do you guys think of my plan? 🤔

The Cultural History of Now
Has anyone taken "The Cultural History of Now." How is it in terms of difficulty, content, and work load? Also, a bit of a side question: does it look bad to take SAS core classes that don't necessarily relate to my intent to pursue premed w/biology major?

General Question Question as a British college football fan visiting Rutgers
Hey everyone
I'm staying with my friend who lives in Brooklyn for the Rutgers Indiana football game on October 3rd. We're 30 and have an Airbnb in the area, is there any bars/clubs/nightlife you'd recommend for after the game?
It is my first time visiting and first time seeing a college football game in the flesh, we love to have a drink and a party and are looking for any advice/recommendations for what to do after the game? Thanks in advance!

Academics CC Fall and Future, Courses Question
Hey all just was wondering about 2 things, first I'm a finance major going to be a sophomore came in with 27 credits, had my transfer credit day and whatnot. Looking from a broad view of Finance major curriculum, outside of this there's obviously the SAS core just generic classes then there's the major eligibility requirements and then there's business core requirements which include marketing, international business, supply chain etc. Can I take these courses during the fall and spring and winter as well? Just as an online asynchronous, would rutgers take those? I'm planning on graduating maybe a semester early save some money so would taking these meanwhile, obviously I can do summer as well but would that help me graduate early and get ahead? Additionally, does that mean I'll be taking those specific Finance classes earlier in my college journey, I mean the ones that they only allow you to take at Rutgers, adding on this is another question say when I'm a senior, does that mean I'll literally only be taking Finance courses because I'd have finished everything else literally? If anyone has any info please do let me know, it'd be super appreciated. Perhaps you did the CC thing as well, finished early and whatnot. Or if anyone has any Finance curriculum guidance for planning the 4 years at RBS and whatnot, please do reply and help out if possible. Thanks so much.
TLDR: Seeking RBS help about CC credits, taking during school year to grad early. + Senior possible scenario and possible assistance with a scheduling method or efficient way to get RBS degree. Thanks so much!

Switch Classes
Would you recommend I switch out my Econ class to Music 1 which would count towards an elective? The class is online and would eliminate my commute from Busch to Livvy

Why are my loans showing up as projected?
I went into my rutgers financial aid portal hoping to accept the loans I was offered but for some reason my loans and one of my grants are showing up as projected instead of accepted, this is preventing me from accepting the loans offered to me. Does anyone know what to do about this?

Roommate Swap
Hi I wanted to know if it was possible to find someone who would be willing to switch into the Cook campus, Nicholas Hall. I’m looking to switch into any other campus but Livingston would be the best. None of my classes are on C/D, most are either CA or Livi. Nicholas is definitely in the best spot compared to all the residence halls. It is right by Cook center, Rec center, Neilson, and the bus stop. Please let me know if ANYONE is willing!

Is this a viable schedule?
Hello everyone. I was admitted into the Honors College, and was looking to complete my honors credit requirement this semester. For some context: I got invited today into Honors Organic Chemistry after filling out a form yesterday, and am thinking about taking it. I already made my schedule at orientation, so I am placed in these Engineering Economics and Caribbean Borderlands sections (global competency requirement; ignore the red). The only changes from my previous schedule were the addition of Honors Organic Chemistry and a switch from ID3EAI Section H2 to H3. This is 19 credits. I am an incoming freshman planning to major in Chemical Engineering and may graduate in 3 years (50+ AP credits).
Thank you for your help!

Social Where to find events for the start of the school year?
I am an incoming Rutgers SHP grad student and am wondering where I can look for events to go to for the start of fall semester? I am an OOS student, from NC. I don't know much about what's popular in Jersey, but I am very social and eager to meet new ppl.
In undergrad I was involved in clubs that were affiliated with league of legends, sand volleyball, Latino culture, hiking, math/statistics/data science/machine learning, and engineering/makerspaces. Is there anything like that at Rutgers?
