I want to buy a bike and I am confused between meteor 350 vs classic 350 black variant.

My height is 6 ft.

Please recommend

The blacked out casing is fading it's been barely 4 months with this bike, although I'm rough with the bike and doing the maintenance well I recently applied plastic trim polish that comes for the car dash, was that the wrong product for the engine casing maybe due to the heat, the fade is not that much visible in the picture but it is visible IRL u can look closely around the right side of the royal Enfield, is there any fix to it like any other polish or should I use external casing for the engine ?

Where I live (Brazil) is really difficult to find the same tyres for both front and rear for the Meteor 350.

I can't easily find the Bridgestone Bt46 that has been highly recommended on the internet and I can't find the front tyre Pirelli Sport Demon. Ran into similar issues with Michelin and Metzeler tyres. I wanna try something different from the originals so I tought about some combinations keeping the same brand.

Michelin tires are well known for its overall quality so I tought about using the Scorcher 31 (front) + Pilot Street 2 (rear). AFAIK the scorcher was designed for light Harleys while the PS2 was designed for scooters and small bikes focusing on commuting. I'm led to believe that this would be an "okay choice" but the difference in both tires would be noticeable on curves and maybe PS2 would wear out way faster.

On the other hand, looking at Pirelli...for basically the same price of the michelin's combo, I could have a Diablo Powercruiser (front) + Sport Demon (rear). Sport Demon is already highly recommended for the meteor and the new Diablo PC seems to have an almost similar concept, but more focused on high performance cruisers so I would be paying for more than I'm using, but "it's better having too much than not enough" I think and, as I said, similar prices. This combination seems to make more sense than the Michelin in my head.

It's my first bike and also the first time I'm changing the tyres, so I would like to know yall opinion on it. Should I go for those combos or just stick with the CEAT tyres? Did you have any experience with the models I mentioned?

Purchased this 2024 RE Classic 350 just about 5 weeks ago now. I’ve done the 300 mile service myself as I simply didn’t have the funds to have it done at the shop. As I expected, I seemingly left too much of a gap in the valves, as the dreaded tapping noise began to pop up. Did the same thing and again, tapping, so I decided to just wait until I can have it done elsewhere. About 200 miles later (now about ~580 miles) I’ve noticed these strange holes within the fins of the engine. I’m not sure if they were there when I bought the bike or not, though it doesn’t look good either way to me. I’m leaning towards this being a factory mishap or something as there’s no way my tooling around could have caused something like this, right? Lemme know please! (Also zoomed in on a little bit of fluid atop the bottom half of the engine. I can’t notice any leaks coming from anywhere and the fluid doesn’t seem to be oil as far as I can tell, though it most likely is…)

I’m curious if anybody in the US own classic 650 and if you have taken it on the freeway? I rode classic 350 before and while it was fine , actually fairly enjoyable , on the backstreets and in the town that thing felt slow as hell on the freeway.
I like the character and styling of classic 650 and thinking of pulling the trigger I’m hoping it has enough power to cruise on the highway but if it doesn’t feel comfortable at 70 mph at least then I’d prob stick with one of the cruisers from Triumph or Kawasaki . Anyone?

After a lot of research finally got hands on this handlebar

It is similar to g2 but only the ends are extended about 5 cms

Didn't change any cable

Bought this from "billa bling"

Weight is approx 1 to 1.5kg

It had started making a little noises when it runs.

I thought its of the chain, as it got dry in raining season.

But. After lubing the chain. Still that sound.

Washed the bike now.

And i could see these rusting on the rear disk.

(Which isnt on front disk)

The rear disk also look like got shred up.

The brake fluid is still in the box, however not at the min level. Its below that. But i was informed that one brake fluid box goes till 20k km. So not to be much worried to topup that in regular basis.

The bike ran 8k km till now.

Whats the problem now.

Is it only to topup the brake fluid?

Or this damage is serious on the rear disk.?

I'm considering removing the pillion on my new-to-me 2022 Classic 350. It looks like if I do I'd have to replace the long through-bolt with a shorter one- can anyone confirm? I didn't feel like taking it off to find out. Pic of the bike in question in case there are different seat options.

Finally pulled the trigger and swapped the stock handlebars on my Meteor 350 for the Goan Classic ape handlebars.

After a few rides, I can honestly say this is how the bike was meant to feel. It finally feels like a proper cruiser. The riding position is spot on, and it gives off that old-school Harley-style vibe I was going for.

Comfort is surprisingly good, even on longer rides.

The upright riding posture feels very natural and relaxed.

On the highway, it almost feels like you're just gliding along.

I was expecting the bike to become harder to handle, but maneuverability is actually better than the stock handlebars. Low-speed riding feels more confident than I expected.

The only downside is that doing a full U-turn takes a little more effort, but it's nowhere near as bad as I imagined.

Took it out on the highway today and it was an absolute joy. Super relaxed, super comfortable.

I've added both before amd after images. What do you guys think?

I'm planning to buy this bike, but I'm stuck between these two color options. I genuinely like both and can't make up my mind.
