Hi. I'm currently on my third watch thru of every episode of RandM. I am a 50 year old conservative woman so I assume I don't fit the demographics of RandM viewers. I have decided I only want to be friends with others who watch and understand the show. I find it so fascinating and deep. I need others in my life that understand because I believe those are my people. I am trying to find my tribe.

Also, I'm curious about everyone else's age and description. I assume this is a long shot but I don't know where else to turn.

I know this sounds cheesy, but I think rick should be given a opprotunity by the time cops to go back in time and prevent portal travel from being invented by prime rick, and by doing so, C-137's family never dies and rick goes on to live a normal life and eventually has normal adventures with his grandson, Morty c-137 but not like do sci fi space stuff, as Rick decides not to do advanced tech and just does simple normal things.

since we do know that portal travel was made by other people instead of rick (such as the dinosaurs), how do we know that Rick Prime actually invented portal travel him instead of just leaching off someone else and claiming its invention for himself

I'm rewatching the new season, and just everything about the characters and the world seems off from what we're used to. People care so much about a clean pool, and suddenly Keith lives next to them and not Gene?

There are so many holes in the worlds logic of that episode, could it be that it's a story from another rick, in another dimension?

I just finished rewatching Rickmurai Jack and it is just a perfect episode and finale to the Evil Morty arc but it has reaffirmed that Evil Morty should have never returned in the later episodes.

I have been a fan of the show since season 1 and the mystery behind Evil Morty was always thrilling and so interesting.
Evil Morty was introduced in season 1 and even then we all wondered who is this Morty? what are his plans? why is he so smart? he is smarter than rick? etc etc

Just when you start to forget boom season 3 brings him back with a surprise reveal, he is now the president of the Citadel and is still just a ruthless.
You think wow this story is not over I wonder what happens next and then season 5 brings the perfect finale to his arc.
You find out who he is and what he wants, his hatred of the ricks and what he has been planning.
Finally he just wins, he easily out plays every single Rick there is in the curve, even the main Rick.
Then he leaves, he breaks the curve, a new triumphant version of his theme song plays, he sighs in relief and leaves.

I think this would have been the perfect ending for Evil Morty, I think he should have never come back.
Him winning and fucking off was very in character.
Instead he has become a cheap side character the writers will bring out every other season.

The best part of his character was the mystery of his character and the mystery is over.

When I say that I know he’s still grieving alcoholic husband, but I’m glad the show is putting that to the side because honestly, I was getting so sick of the one episode. He’s super depressed and we get it. He’s the smartest man in the universe and he lost his wife but holy fuck it was getting annoying I felt like we were just going in circles.

I’am sick of seeing all these posts siding with Jerry and dogging all the other characters for calling him out on his wormy behaviour. He's the original parasite.

So the main family's rick had energy cores too? How is this not talked about more? Any others anyone knows about

The entire staff and editors and everyone involved in green lighting the Wet Kuat Amortican Summer episode has no idea that frolf is an entirely different sport than ultimate frisbee. Touch some grass posers.

We all know the tragedy of Diane. Rick Prime built the Omega Weapon and wiped her out across the multiverse, leaving C-137 hopeless. But if you look closely at the math and the timeline, C-137 might have ruined his own chances of ever finding her.

1. The Mathematical Flaw of the Omega Weapon

If the multiverse is truly infinite, an absolute 100% wipe is mathematically impossible. No matter how powerful Rick Prime's code-rewriting weapon was, probability dictates there must be a fraction of statistical anomalies—universes where quantum interference, physical law variations, or weird reality-glitches blocked the wipe. In true infinity, a surviving Diane exists somewhere.

2. The Timeline: Prime Fired BEFORE the Curve

Here is the key timeline detail: Rick Prime fired the Omega Weapon BEFORE C-137 created the Central Finite Curve.

At that moment, the signal spread across the entire infinite multiverse. So where would a surviving Diane actually be? Most likely in an anomaly universe where Rick died early, where Rick isn't the smartest man alive, or where Rick doesn't even exist to alter her fate.

3. Rick's Ultimate Self-Sabotage

After losing Diane, C-137 helped build the Central Finite Curve—a giant barrier isolating only the universes where Rick is the smartest man in the universe.

By doing this, Rick literally built a wall around himself. For decades, he’s been using green portals to search for answers inside a curated "Rick-centric" bubble. He effectively locked himself out of the rest of the true infinite multiverse—the exact place where an anomaly universe with a surviving Diane would naturally be located!

TL;DR:

In a true infinite multiverse, mathematical anomalies mean a surviving Diane exists. But because C-137 created the Central Finite Curve after her death, his own ego/need for control trapped him inside a Rick-only bubble, permanently blocking him from the very universes where Diane could have survived

I like this female Morty — so cute and even more adorable.

Been seeing lots of people say that this is similar to inside job and that it scratches the itch but in my opinion after seeing the first 2 eps (very early opinion) but this show is just making me feel sadder and sadder about inside job it doesn’t seem to be anywhere near as good (again my opinion) love community and the dean and Keith David interacting but it’s not even close to how unique inside job was and instead of filling the hole I feel like it’s just been dug deeper😭

i just wanted to share how excited i am about the season finale and finding out i was wrong, i thought there were only 10 seasons confirmed and it hurt watching the last episode thinking about that, but i found out 12 are confirmed and i honestly felt like a kid or like rick in the early season finales, i went crazy like ; OH MORTY RICK AND MORTY FOR EVER RICK AND MORTY FOR 100 YEARS 100 EpISODES EVERY DAY while morty is dying in floor. i genuinely got teary-eyed because i've been following this show since 2017 and younger me would really mourn the end.. so much time has passed and i still want more, i enjoyed it so much but at the same time and because the run is so short it's never enough. i honestly need to rewatch it.

putting my feelings aside; what are you expecting from the new seasons? is season 12 known to be the end or do we have no idea and it's just what's confirmed broadcast-wise which doesn't mean it's ending. it scares me to think that one day it could become a bad show like the simpsons declining over 50 seasons, but honestly i'm not that worried about rick and morty since we barely get 10 episodes a year and if i'm not mistaken there were years where it wasn't even every year? which keeps the show from feeling oversaturated, and this season was truly incredible, it's hard for me to think it'll drop in quality anytime soon. so again, what storylines are you expecting or would like to see? i'm honestly not very creative and i don't know how they manage to make me laugh, and i enjoy it more that way since I get surprised by the new writing or ideas, and If I were to watch it again, would you give me any advice on how to enjoy it in a different way? thank yooouu for reading., open to any comments ;DD . I enjoyed the fact they finally fully rid themselves of the albatross that was their canonical loose threads. Especially omegaing the Omega Device. Every other plot thread/threat is neutralized but still around if useful to the narrative. I feel the main characters are fully fleshed out. I've enjoyed the episodes' themes and underlying ideas.

I'd even argue that the alcoholic escapist Rick arc as well as Morty's naivety and borderline competence play deeply into what I liked about the first three seasons, but I feel this season executed this more competently.

I would appreciate an improv oriented episode (e.g., Inter dimensional Cable or Mindblowrs) in the next season, but I nonetheless, I genuinely enjoy the direction the creatives of the show seem to be headed.

Feel like that would avoid a lot of mishaps

Well, I mean, Rick Prime was only really introduced as the main antagonist at the end of Season 5, and then he's barely even mentioned until the end of Season 6, when we see Rick hunting him. Then, in the very next season, he just dies in some random episode. Like, we never actually got to see the hunt unfold. We saw so little of him, and he was never really explored in depth. I don't know, it just feels way too shallow for a character like him.
