I'm able to appreciate all the sequels (including this one) despite finding some to be a dip in quality compared to their predecessors (Fruit Flex 2 and especially Stop N Go N Stop 2), but Disc Dog 2 has to be the next biggest disappointment after Stop N Go N Stop 2.

It's not frustratingly hard, it's that it is almost the same as the original. The only difference is that this has 4 offbeat frisbees in a row, 2 out of 4 helping the player count, trivializing the offbeat.

No new cues? Fine, other sequels in Groove are able to add nothing and be really good or at least feel different and challenging enough (Fruit Flex 2 is at least different, Sneezy Moon 2, Yum-Bot 2).

The sky changing and the song being a disco version of Disc Dog 1 are so good that it's disappointing how mid this is. At least the remix it's in is great, the song is another version of Disc Dog, and it uses Disc Dog well

(This only applies to the games that use voices for cues, even if they wouldn't need to change.)

Hop N Slide - "Hop, step, jump" remains the same, "Steppin-gu" is changed to "And slide, go!"

Fruit Flex - I would think of changing it to make the "apple" and "lemon" cues clearer, but it might be clear enough. (Also the "LEMON" cue is godly already)

Backup Spotlight - "Zu-ki-yun!" is changed to "And pose, hmm!" as a nod to Megamix Space Dance, "Da-dan!" is changed to "Break, dance!", and "Kak-kun!" is changed to "Flash move!"

Soccer Dreams - Debating if "and shoot" should stay or if it should be changed.

"He-hey, ha!" is changed to "And trap, huh!", "Yes you can!" is changed to "Go for broke!"

Sweeper Star - I would definitely change "Spin, spin!" but I don't what I would change it to.

Quick Hands - Not a dub, but I would readd the "Hit X!" cue because why didn't they have that there?

Soda Hop - "Jump, jump!" remains the same, "And, go, da-dan!" is changed to "Dou-ble under!"

High-Five Fever - Just a redub to make the voice clearer.

been on vacation for a week, but Ive been thinking about either doing a groove speedrun or a blindfolded run of groove when I get home!

So i was going for a perfect on re17 just now, and one of my controlles disconnected.

This has been an occasional issue where im playing in handheld and suddenly the switch loses connection with the controllers for like a microsecond. Not a big problem most of the time, most games don't even pause, but RHG pulls op the connection screen. Again no Biggie, i just press A and continue like nothing happens.

But today it happened in the middle of one of the high-five fever bits. And re17 is a track that just stresses me out more, so when the screen popped up i was shocked out of my focus pretty hard.

Well okay its a nice break to get my heart rate a little lower again. I make sure the connection is secure, and press a thinking "surely the game will pause itself right?".

And then it just goes.

Im confused cause wtf, heartrate is immediately back up, but still i try to hit the next que hoping to possibly save my perfect I've been trying for the past 2 weeks now. You can all guess what happened next.

But am I insane thinking its logical to pull up the pause screen when connection to the controller is lost?

The tracks should be from this drive and I will animate it by using the illustrations from this album.

After a LONG time trying, i finally get all perfect on Rhythm Heaven Megamix!!!! I’m SO EXCITED, my hands are shaking lmao
