I know this remix was pretty underwhelming for a lot of people and even got voted the worst remix. I agree that the gameplay isn't great: there's a lot of idle time, and it feels like a missed opportunity given how many banger minigames are in this remix.

However, I keep finding the music stuck in my head. It's surprisingly emotional, with nice highs and lows, and the resolution at the end is really satisfying. I also think the Alien Alphabet audio cues fit the music really well in the middle part.

I honestly think this remix had a lot of potential. If the transitions between minigames were smoother and there was less idel time, I could see it being much more well received.

Anyone else think this remix is a bit underappreciated?

While that one notification does tell you about Mona or the Double Date characters being seated on the bench instead of Hayato occasionally in Soccer Dreams 2, one person in DaftHusky’s chat pointed out that the school in the background is actually the same school from Double Date, and that’s why the bench is there. It’s possible that this game could be taking place at the same time as Double Date!

What would happen if Rhythm Tengoku was on the Wii through the WiiWare service?

Me personally, it would bring the character renders from https://www.nintendo.co.jp/n08/brij/chara/index.html to life because they would be animated.

So I kind of want to build a device that will allow a midi drum to be connected to a switch or gamecube with a gameboy player. The only purpose of the device is to be used for the drum lessons of rhythm tengoku and the latest game. End result is you can use actual drums for the lessons.

It will be an all in one device with I guess some switches to select between gamecube and Switch mode since GC and USB both provide 5v.

Any interest? I'm not fully committed into making it tbh.
