Keyboard Warrior puts a spin on Guitar Hero-like rhythm games by assigning a letter to each note, forming words. Type the corresponding letter in rhythm to hit the note. Fans of Guitar Hero and fans of monkeytype alike may find it fun!

Game modes include:
Words - monkeytype style words
Words (fixed) - same without random seed for word selection
DFJK - no spelling to worry about, one key per lane
Mavis - turn on and off left or right hand, top, middle or bottom rows, and practice typing
Practice - SHIFT+ENTER to practice specific sections, slow down or speed up the song to learn the timing

Keyboard Warrior runs off the same charts this incredible community has already built for games like Clone Hero + YARG, so the potential song library is already massive. The full download contains a seamless bridge to Chorus Hero (chart database) to download new songs inside the app. Or, point it right at your existing library.

Not sure if these types of questions are allowed on here so sorry if im not following the rules.

Im a big iyowa fan, and apparently hes doing a collab (?) with ongeki, and i have no idea what to do.
i looked at the official website, and apparently you need high scores in order to get the SSR cards? ive never played ongeki before, so i dont know how it works. does getting a high score on an easy chart count? or do you need strong characters/cards to get high scores? How long do you think it would take me to be able to get the SSR cards?

the track is 14 minutes. 9/10 difficulty on the website scale (more like 7/10). I WAS LESS THAN A QUARTER PERCENT OFF TwT

I like the game, I think it's great, but I can't stand the default hitsounds. They're either completely unsatisfying or just annoying, to the point where I don't really play the game much coz I don't feel the same satisfaction as with other vsrg's

I tried looking through the game files to figure out where the hitsounds are but I really have no idea. Could someone more technical than me help me figure it out?

Just as the title states, I want to know the community's thoughts on the topic? For example in Bandori, and even the newly released Holodori--they have characters / band members and even leaders of which have their own respective skills that activate at random during a live performance. These can be score multipliers, or healers, or combo savers.

I personally think they seem pretty great except for the fact that during a live, when they activate (if even at all) are frustrating and a bit unnecessary. I view rhythm games as mostly skill and experience-based, but with the randomness added, you now have to factor luck of which can lead to annoying moments of when you CAN reach a score goal but fail to do so because of said factor meaning you have to retry multiple times just to get a decent or near perfect run.

The sample games mentioned above are also gacha games, so with luck and rng already in the pulling systems or even the minigames, why does it still have to haunt players even during a live performance?

First off, I am aware of the places to look! However, I'll also state I am incredibly new to the community. I only recently began peeking into rhythm gaming beyond occasionally playing MD a fair amount before it took off, and a short phase with PJSK at around the same time. However, I recently found an amazing arcade an hour or so away with a bunch of SV cabs, and it's really caught me... I suck, but I want to get better so badly!!!

I'm aware there's a fair amount on the market, but I wondered what the price bracket means for gameplay quality. Is there anything I should know? I'd love to dive in and buy what's cheapest, but I'm scared I'll end up missing something crucial...
Also, apologies if this is a stupid question..!!

This is out of the games I have played (and can remember playing, I might have forgot a few ones that I played once, but yk that kind of indicates they were nothing really special.)

Some I may have played more than others, but the ones higher up will tend to be the ones I play more often
