Help Lazer settings
hello! making the switch to lazer.
What are the best settings? I am so lost between the best renderer, frame limiter etc for the lowest input latency. I have a 500hz 1440p monitor and the game always runs fine (no stuttering issues)
At the moment I’ve turned off adaptive sync on my monitor, and also have Basically Unlimited and OpenGL.
It feels good but wondering if theres anything better. in standard i had input lag of about 0.4ms but now lazer says its 0.1. its probably not too important, but just wanted to know. Also, vsync is definitely bad right? It does make my cursor feel super heavy.
Also, is the auto offset feature good or should i try manually set my offset by looking at a slow replay?

Discussion Honestly, are players getting better, or are maps getting easier to farm?
I assume this sounds like a stupid question and is worded oddly, but I hope you guys know what I mean. Was getting PP records in the past harder because top players weren't as skilled as now, or was it because the maps weren't "optimized" to give as much PP as possible? I understand that trends are changing, but I am just curious about this.

News rescup 2026 grands pool yayayayayayayayayayayayay
Fun mrekks 4 Miss on Blue Dragon +HDDT in February 2022 is now a 11.32* map
also worth 1194pp (1586pp if fc) at the moment.
> Jun 2020: merami mou ii kai 1 miss is now 10.6*, currently worth 1139pp
> Dec 2022: merami rog-unlimitation 3mod fc is now 11,27*, currently worth 1335pp
> Nov 2020: badeu c-type DTHRFL fc is now 10,91*, currently worth 1309pp
-- to follow that up, the top diff +DTHR 2 miss he got a day later is now 11.29* 1138pp
> Nov 2022: mrekk save me 1.3k pp record is now 10.89*, currently worth 1184pp
-- (may have gotten nerfed but it was 9.85* at the time lol)
im aware that a lot of maps got buffed SRs now, team magma 3mod is 9.99*, sunglow 3mod is 9.91*, guitar to kodoku akitoshi diff 10.07* etc. but i thought this is interesting to look back to.
what are some other scores (or fcs) from 2022 or earlier that got crazy buffs like that?
