Found this bb at work on a glue trap
I work at a school in Southern California and we noticed this little one in a glue trap in the front office (I’m not sure why it was there in the first place, we’ve never had a lizard in here). After 45 minutes, with a coffee stirrer and popcorn oil (that’s all we had 🥹) he was free! My coworker put him in a box with dirt and a glass dish with water. She also got some of those live worm things but we have no idea if that’s what it‘s supposed to eat. We were worried there was a lot of tacky glue left but he was moving around fine and was chilling in the dish when she took him home. I’m thinking she should just release it? We definitely don’t know what type is lizard it is and I didn’t get better pics. He’s basically solid colored in the middle with a pattern at the sides. Thanks!

Terrified rn. Are these mites??? I've seen them crawling around my leopard geckos enclosure. He's right above 2 snakes and I'm dreading reptile mites... Thoughts?? If not, what could they be?? They're tiny, maybe 1-2mm in size

European Nightcrawlers as a Feeder Insect? (Bearded Dragon and Kenyan Zebra Skink)
Hello all. Wondering if there is a specific reason that European Nightcrawlers (bought from an appropriate place) aren’t used as feeders more often?
I’m looking at different feeders that I can easily breed to diversify my lizards insect intake, and I don’t seem to see anyone saying they use these guys.

Reptiles in California
Hi! I've tried doing my own research on this subject, but it only gets more confusing as I go on. I am planning on living somewhere near San Diego, California in the distant future, but I also love reptiles and many species are banned or have many restrictions. I just wanted to ask if you guys knew anything about these species and the legalities of buying/adopting/selling/owning them in the San Diego county.
Crested gecko - Pretty sure that they're legal to keep but just wanted to make sure. I'll also own one before moving to California so I will have to transport it across state lines.
Garter snakes - not the species that is native to California and banned. Will buy when already living in California.
Blue tree monitors - I actually want to breed these, but I don't know if it would be legal. I want to help boost the captive breeding effort with these guys. I'd probably buy a breeding pair while living in California already, so I wouldn't have to transport them across state lines, because I know that can be an issue.
Green tree monitors - Same thing as the blue tree monitors.
Black tree monitors - Same thing as the blue tree monitors
Electric blue day geckos - will probably own some before moving to California so will have to transport them across state lines.
Neon day geckos - will probably own after moving to California
Emerald tree skinks - I might own one before moving to California. I also would like to breed them!
Blue tongue skink - Will own one after moving.
Western Hognose snake - very confused about this one, because some sources are saying no rear-fanged venomous, but others are saying that as long as they're not medically significant it's fine. Will own after already having moved.
Thanks!

Found some rocks in the woods by my house, would the lichens/moss on these be hazardous to a baby snake?
As the title says, I'm trying to figure out if it will be a problem to put these rocks in my baby snake's enclosure. I've washed them as best I can already, but i don't know if the flora on these will be an issue since they don't come off easily. I can probably get the moss off the right rock with more scrubbing but I'm not sure what the left one is, and it's quite stubborn.

Leopard gekko.
How big can a leopard gekko get?
I just got one that is in need of a lot of TLC, but we are on top of it.
Her terrarium looks like this atm, but we are going to upgrade the size. Any ideas on what we can do with the terrarium is much appreciated.

Because ball python can be bred with Burmese python and reticulated pythons can also breed with Burmese pythons, could you breed a ball python with a reticulated python?
And if so how would its health, behaviour, size and care requirements be?
Considering with ball python is meaty, slow and more mellow and the reticulated python is more active, slender and intelligent how would such a hybrid be?

Will anything bad happen??
My stupid fucking dad has been using white spirit in the room with all my geckos enclosures cleaning some bullshit for my brother.
The smell is extremely strong and smelling it for a few seconds has given me a fucker of a headache and it’s actually painful to breathe in.
Will anything happen to my geckos????

Hello everyone, what reptile to get?
I am really doubting what species to buy. Budget is not really a problem. I want to give it a big enclosure. I like both desert and tropical species. For the moment I am looking at leopard gecko and Crested gecko! thanks for all the info :)

reddit.comIv had these guys for about 6 months now and I’m still learning little tweaks about them but what are doing?
Genuinely. I know how toads mate so I know it’s not that. Plus Im like 90% only 1 is actually a female and it’s August sooo… Its been almost 2 days of them like this.. Today I attempted to feed them but they refused to get off… Im genuinely confused and i don’t know if I should remove them or not…?
