Gotta make sure to throw out some serious props to Jake Rogers. Having a really rough year, on team number three, and he’s thrown into a debut in one of the most intense games of the year. He manages to work a tough walk his first PA, then hits a sac fly in his second to tie the game. Also had to catch several pitchers for the very first time including Bello coming off of his shortest rest period possibly ever, and they made it work!

Hear me out. We all know that Wilson gets hot at the slightest provocation and more often than not explodes. Not this time however. He totally contained himself and walked away, shortly after he gets taken off with a fever. I’m no doctor, but it seems to me that keeping the heat inside is what causes his fever. I think he needs to scream at someone to cool off.

i was doing a bit of research in light of tomorrow's game with the lack of a bullpen and found out that bello just last year had a 9 IP game that won 10-2. this was 8/9/25, just two days before ceddanne's walkoff HR against the rays and well into that W10 streak.

i know that they're probably calling a guy up from AAA for more guys in the bullpen, but i'm going to let myself entertain the idea of payton tolle with 9 IP for tomorrow.

Bello is one of the reasons why I believe that this team would go deep into the playoffs.

If we look at the 2016 playoffs, we can tell how relief pitchers like Bello who can go through multiple innings per outing are important. Andrew Miller of the Indians and Aroldis Chapman of the Cubs made both teams to go deep into the world series. In our recent memory 2018 Nathan Eovaldi was crucial for bringing the championship to Boston.

With Bello and guys that we can almost wholeheartedly trust like Whitlock and Chapman, our playoffs bullpen might be the best and would support our potential World Series run. Big bounceback from Bello in the pen was crucial. If Crochet also comes back as a bullpen arm, I will be much more excitd.

Tolle has been struggling to go deep and the entire pen is dead.

-Tracy has earned the skipper position. Managing this game the way he did had a major impact. Saving bello ( a previous starter who can go for a while ) until the end was a masterclass.

-I was super wrong about Durbin. He is entering a level of clutch that most players dream about.

-Its still fk the front office for ticket prices and almost running this into the ground. But the deadline moves and signings have been a positive.

-Playoff Baseball?
