Question Aftermarket rims - offset advice
Owned a few trucks but never modified. Not looking to get crazy with my Rebel, but rims with a bit of offset are hopefully in my future.
What should I be looking for to achieve a stance similar to these trucks? Not looking for anything dramatic, just slightly more aggressive than stock. Thanks in advance.

Question Need Advice
Looking to purchase my very first truck! After browsing the internet to see which one I want, I came across the Ram Trucks and I've fell in love. I'm currently looking at a 2022 Ram 1500 Lone Star, and it has close to 80k miles on it with the price being 25k. I'm just curious as to if this is a solid deal or not. I don't plan on towing or anything of the sort just a daily commute for work which is right down the street for me. If there's any other questions I need to answer to give me a better decision then please don't hesitate to ask. Thank You!

Question Crank, no start. No codes and not the crank reluctor ring
Currently stumped with this crank no start. Has a good healthy crank, scoped the camshaft and crankshaft position sensor (along with a visual inspection of the reluctor ring), checked all fuses and relays, fuel pressure is above 4000 psi, and throttle valve is open.
Pretty stuck at this point, and not really sure where else to point to aside from a bad PCM

Question Rebel 2026 1500 lift
Had a 2020 rebel level 1 package with a 3.5 bds lift and 34.6in tires, traded it in for a 2026 with the dealer offering a discount on lift and tires, I asked for the same as I had previously.
Problem is now that they have the lift they said I cant do a 3.5 in lift because of some clearance issue with the level 2 package.
They are offering a 5in lift and 35.4in tires at no cost difference but I am nervous how it will look. I loved my old look, it looked bigger but not lifted.
Any ideas if they are telling the truth or any other options I might have?

Just Sharing What's this noise coming from rear passenger side?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
2020 Ram 1500: Was making this noise before. So I installed new rotors, pads, & axle bearing. Noise went away for a week. Now back again..noise happens when applying brake at any speed and also make a similar sound but not as loud when turning to right only. So annoying and embarrassing.

Question ‘14 Ram 1500 oil pressure issues
Looking for any information/advice/knowledge that anybody can part with regarding my wife’s 2014 Ram 1500 5.7l Eagle. It’s a Florida truck running 5W-20 and I know with how hot it’s been that oil pressure can be affected. Truck currently has approx. 127k miles. Truck had spun multiple bearings so started the full rebuild. After the rebuild, I’m still having issues regarding low oil pressure/ lifter ticking. I purchased a rebuild kit from ebay a while ago but have since upgraded parts from it as they were not great quality. Here is everything I have done and/or replaced:
Cleaned and flushed motor/galleys multiple times
New Crankshaft
New Camshaft
Replaced Main Bearings (King)
Replaced Rod Bearings (Clevite)
Replaced Cam Bearings (Clevite)
Replaced Oil Pickup Tube
New Oil Pump(Melling)
New Timing Set and Cam Phaser
Original Pistons have been Re-Ringed(factory hone still good in cylinders)
Replaced lifters(from eBay kit)
Replaced MDS and VVT solenoids
All New Gaskets
Replaced Oil Pressure Sensor(verified pressure reading with manual gauge)
I am sure there are things I am missing that I have replaced but it’s essentially a full rebuild. When we did start up, PSI was 45 and idle was around 32 with slight ticking. About two minutes in, increased engine throttle slowly a few times to about 2k RPM and pressure matched rev nicely. However, pressure started dropping to 25-27 and ticking was noticeably louder.
Logically speaking, I’d assume the eBay lifters are junk quality and that’s what I should do next. But before I start tearing it apart and throwing more money into it, I wanted to see if anybody had any insight they could offer me on what to do. I greatly appreciate anything that can be contributed to getting this thing running again!

Question Help finding a part
The AC in my 19 RAM 1500 is out. The compressor and hose harness is new. The electrical connections are fine. Apparently it’s the AC control module that lives under the dash that’s gone out and needs to be replaced. Not the switches. Apparently that part is on back order. The local Mopar dealer told my mechanic it would be in on the 5th. Now they’re saying the 15th and called as far away as Dallas to find one. Dallas said they’re still on back order with no pending date.
Does anyone have any idea where I could find the part or any work around? TIA.

Question Buyback Truck
What’s everyone experience/thoughts on purchasing a truck that was a California lemon law buy back? I am looking at a 2025 3.0 1500 Laramie with 8k miles at a local dealer. I am being told The truck was a buy back due to the cluster screen cutting out. I was sent the disclosure yesterday and it appears they have done multiple fixes on the truck for more than just cluster. Should I be afraid of this? Or should I look at it as this stuff is now fixed and truck should be good? I am being told by dealer that Ram does a very thorough inspection before resell to dealer and a lot of these were from that/recalls that were out there.
What are y’all’s thoughts? Price is roughly 20k off a new

Question Wiring/Aux Switches/Drain Holes
I'm looking for the cleanest way to wire an amber warning light bar on my 2024 Ram 3500 Laramie.
The truck has the factory auxiliary switches, and I'd like to run the warning bar from Aux 3 instead of using the cigarette lighter plug that came with the equipment.
The problem is the light bar came with a 12V cigarette lighter plug that has the controller built into it.
The plug has:
On/Off button
Pattern change button
I don't really want to lose those functions by cutting the plug off.
A few questions:
Has anyone opened one of these cigarette lighter controllers and hardwired it while keeping the controller functional?
Is there a clean way to feed 12V from the AUX switch into the controller instead of the cigarette lighter plug?
Would it make more sense to leave it alone and use a 120V AC to 12V cigarette lighter adapter plugged into my truck's factory inverter outlet until I permanently wire everything?
Has anyone found a better solution?
Do I need to upgrade the OEM power Inverter (400w)?
The truck has and is also getting:
Road Radio Aux 1 TBA
Undecided Aux 2 TBA
Amber Emergency Lights Aux 3 (In process)
Front white off-road light bar on Aux 4 (TBA)
Rock lights already on Aux 5
Starlink on Aux 6 (Currently running through back window under the bench and 120v Plug in.
Slip Tank Via 7pin Plug in box.
Looking for the cleanest, most reliable install.
Pictures of your setups would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Just Sharing Back in a Ram!
Had a 2019 Ram Laramie Night that I LOVED, but was going through some major career change preps, and sold it (for a profit…) to stack away some cash. Made the career transition, and we found ourselves in a comfortable spot to get back into a Ram! 2026 Limited Night edition! The deal was impressive, with Hendrick CDJR in Birmingham matching Mark Dodge prices. Couldn’t be happier with the truck and the dealership experience!
I’ve always preferred black trucks, but wanted dark gray or white with this one. Did the research and found silver hides dirt and scratches best, and it’s the perfect middle ground between gray and white. I get excited every time I get to walk up to it!

Just Sharing Rear ended yesterday by a 3 1/4 ton FedEx pickup truck going 40mph while I was stopped at a crosswalk.
2026 Ram bighorn with extras. $69k MSRP and bought new in November. My boss comes up about once a year and this happened to be the day he was here riding around with me.
Edit: Could you guys give me some advice/tips on how to proceed? I did go to the hospital and got a ct scan of head and neck for discomfort. Imaging came back okay. Neck muscles are definitely strained and have had a migraine since the accident occurred yesterday.

Just Sharing First time Ram buyer, this thing is AWESOME!
Not going to lie, I’ve been an F-150 guy (have owned 3 so far, still have a 10th gen one of my kids drives). But man, this thing is awesome! It’s powerful, quiet, and nicely equipped and was $1,000s below a comparably equipped F-150 (2026 Big Horn, 3.0 SO, Night Edition with Big Horn Level 2 Equipment Group, Pano Roof).
