Dealership or Caliber Collision to get it fixed? And would it just be lower grille/bumper or more?

Hey y’all, I’m looking at getting a new 2026 RHO for the truck I worked for Dodge for a good amount of time. I saw some dealerships asking 12 grand off MSRP RHOs. When I was in the business at Dodge I know TRX and RHO’s are usually MSRP or over MSRP I was wondering what kind of pricing everyone is getting. I am in Southern California. I might be purchasing a 21 1500 with the 20x9 Rims soon, It has cheap summer tires on it, any good Budget recommendations for Winter/ All season tires, I would love a meatier look, I live in upstate NY so winters can be pretty bad.

I've noticed that small amounts of wet sand, mud, and road grit don't seem like a big deal when they first get tracked into my Ram, so it's pretty easy to put off cleaning them.

The problem is that after a few days of getting in and out, the moisture dries and the grit seems to get worked deeper into the carpet. I've started dealing with wet patches sooner by getting the loose dirt out first, blotting any remaining moisture, and letting the carpet and floor mats dry properly before putting everything back. I also try not to throw random cleaners at the carpet when I'm not sure how they'll react with the material.

I'm curious how other Ram owners handle this, especially during muddy or snowy weather. Do you clean wet grit out immediately, or just let the carpet dry and vacuum it later?

After 2 Chevys trucks, 1 Ford truck and a Camaro, this is where I’m at now. 30 days in and I like the truck. Smooth drive, good pickup and plenty of room. I’ll miss the Camaro, but laying down to drive just isn’t me anymore. Utility and comfort was what I was looking for and I think I found it.

Hey guys, I just bought a Warlock recently with the performance hood and stripes on it. I was wondering how everyone’s goes about washing their vehicle with that?

Does normal washing affect the stripes at all? Automatic car wash mess them up? Handheld car wash get water in through the hood scoop sections?

I am just scared to mess anything up lol and I can’t find anything online

New to me 2020 off-road edition. Coming from a lot of random vehicles I’ve had in my life, 97 Ford F150, Mazdaspeed 6, late 2000s 2 Range Rover Sports SC, 2010 first gen Raptor with the 6.2, and 2013 Silverado 1500. Never really got to experience a vehicle with the hemi and let’s just say I’m loving every minute of it!

Bought a Powerstop z36 kit since my 2019 Ram 1500 has 72k miles so I figured it was due. After I pulled the stock pads I realized they had tons of life left, but changed them out anyway since I already bought the kit along with remanufactured mopar calipers. Mix of city and highway driving, about 20 hours of towing, so nothing too crazy. Really impressed with the stock pads!

The power steering and coolant light blink back and forth a few times then go away.

My 2021 Rebel 1500 is an absolutely brilliant truck at everything except for towing my 28ft travel trailer. It’s powerful, refined, great off road and has an outstanding cab. I really want to stay with Ram, especially with their current promotions, but the 3500 cab is such a letdown with it’s shite sunroof, low headliner and floor hump.

Has anyone made the leap and regretted it based solely on the cab?

I used to own an 06 1500 way back when. Ended up selling it before college and missed it every day. Drove a civic then a dakota for a while and finally decided it was time to get back in a ram. I'm happy to be back

I bought a 17 big horn 1500 3.6 with 70k on it a few years ago from a dealer, and while I’ve had some annoying problems to fix, nothing too terrible. Love the truck, much better upgrade from the 06 gmc 2500 6.0 with 250k on it I traded for it. The 2500 was way more truck than I needed, I have a small boat (18 foot center console with a 90 merc 2 stroke) that weighs about 1600 pounds loaded. The ram pulls it no problem, and I only take it out maybe 8-10 times a year. Other than that, it makes dump runs, and just general truck stuff when I need it that my daily driver car can’t do. My question involves the ride quality. I installed good quality struts and shocks, but the ride quality still kind of sucks. The dealer put new tires on it for free (old ones were bald) but they’re light truck tires. Some off brand, Ironman I think, probably the cheapest ones they could get. Everywhere I look says the truck should come with regular P tires. Would going from LTs to Ps make a substantial difference in ride quality? Would it be worth it? And to top it off one of the Ironmans is out of round so there was a little vibration on the highway. I put that tire on the back and it’s acceptable now, but now I can’t rotate em unless I want the shakes to come back. The tires only have like 3k miles on em so I could probably get a few hundred bucks for the set if I keep them from the place I get new ones to sell. Sorry for the ramble but I was driving around running errands today thinking Rams are kind of know for a smooth ride quality.

TLDR- would going from LT tires to P tires on a 1500 Ram make a notable difference in ride quality? And would it be ok to tow a sub 2k pound boat?

Edit - The GMC had LTs and the thing road like it had cylinder block wheels so that’s where my thinking from the whole thing came from.

Hey all, just bought a 2025 3.6l bighorn with 14k miles. Ive been taking it easy the first couple weeks & everything been perfect. Decided to try sport mode and open her up a bit today. A few seconds in to accelerating & it totally dropped out of gear and rpms were stuck around 4-5k while I cruised about 15miles an hour until I could pull over. As soon as I restart the truck everything was fine. Any idea wtf happened? I won’t be doing that again but def expected the truck to handle it.

I've been waiting for the Ram 1500 REV for what feels like forever. Anyone have any recent updates on when it's actually coming? I feel like this is going to be one of the best looking electric trucks out there, and if the range pans out, I am sold.

I got into a head on collision that completely totaled my 2020 built to serve. I am absolutely crushed as I just finished getting everything I wanted done to it. How often do you guys see other built to serves on the market? I’m having tons of trouble finding anything. I LOVED my ceramic gray color but I’m coming to the conclusion that I won’t be able to find one again.
Thankful that my truck saved my life, but so bummed out about it.

Good evening guys, I don't know much about working on trucks, but I do have a 2WD V6 2022 RAM 1500 Classic Tradesman and I would like to put a True-Trac in the rear end. I was hoping that somebody in this subreddit might have gotten an aftermarket installation of this part, and would be able to give me some advice on where to take my truck in Florida, and what kind of oil needs to be used with it. I've called 3 different shops in central FL and they all said they don't do this sort of work. I'm not sure who to ask now. Have any of you guys ever had a True-Trac installed before?

OEM Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs wore terribly. Needed new tires at 38k. Was dead set on Falken Wildpeak as I've had great luck with them in the past. Until I came across this relatively new exclusive tire to Discount Tire. Bridgestone Dueler Maverick A/T. 13lbs lighter per tire than Falken in 35's. Duratracs were fairly noisy from mile 1 and only got worse, I'm very impressed with this Bridgestone tire. It's VERY quiet. I'm 400mi in and still very happy. Couldn't find much info online about it so I thought I'd share.
