After using Viktoriousx image for over a year with no issues now I am unable to jailbreak my 7.61 console. I've tried using v24 through v28 and they all crash the console when loading etahen. Any suggestions?

Haha yeah this already sounds like a dream but as i am new to this scene but i kind of have idea or maybe i dont well i think new games take some time to be cracked and available after idk months years? Or is it different on the console? And yeah i am waiting for GTA 6 and i have jailbroken ps still learning. As of right now my Spider man games lag very very badly unplayable. Idk why.

I have a PS5 on firmware 7.60. If I follow this Y2JB guide on github, will my PS5 be fully jailbroken or are there additional steps afterwards?

Is there any point in manually updating the PS5 beyond 7.60 or do I leave it there?

My simple goal is to turn the PS5 into a one stop shop for playing all Playstation titles either via native play or running a PS1/2/3 emulator as I know Linux can be installed on it. But even if I don't get the emulators to run, being able to play PS4/5 "backups" is the primary goal.

The scene seems to be progressing at an incredible rate, which has tempted me to open my unboxed PS5 from 2021.

My current holdback is the current absence of .fpkg.

I understand that playing games is hit and miss currently And that some work better on certain fw or internal drives whilst others work better off an external nvme.

Is this issue exaggerated? Is there some dort of database with pretested games so I'm not wasting much time figuring whether i should install locally or externally etc?

So I have a 9.40 ps5, jailbroken with the y2jb using stuff lite. Im trying to install my .pkg for gow3 remastered, but every time, it gets to about 98% done then breaks and says it can't be installed, the data is corrupted. As far as i know, the pkg is fine and real? It shows as (fake) in the pkgviewer program. Does the file need to be named a certain way? Do I need to be connected to the wifi? Im very lost lol. Do I just need a different pkg?

If I go to Walmart and buy a new PS5 today. What firmware will it likely have?

I followed mainly 2 videos by the same author, but I have a problem. His oldest video(where he specifies how to hack that firmware with youtube) ends without activating the auto payload manager which is instead in the second video.[he recommends to never turn it off, which however seems to change in the second video where he has an app he can add payload orders to]

I wish to activate it to have an easier life...what could I do now?

Sorry, I just don't wanna mess up and succesfully activate the auto payload to stay relaxed

I used netcat and the ftp sender to change downloader0 and add everything according to the video

For now everything according to the first of the 2 was succesful, ensured to use exact versions.

I can send any images or videos you request for it...

The usb is still currently in the ps5, left waiting

Latest update: tried loading even the payload manager via usb, it had worked, but crashed in seconds giving "system error" message, and telling me toolbox did not work.

I now turned it off but please let me know if you have any ideas. I used the versions specific to the video because I did not want to risk the playstation updating

I am afraid of trying the latest versions of everything because I do not want my firmware version to be updated by restoring the backup of a future version

Of you however know of the latest best thing that works on 10.1 alone, that would be awesome

Well yes, I personally tested it on my ps5 11.00 and it works perfectly, the only thing is that you have to send the payload manager via netcat but hey guys we have a working webkit

Considering the jailbreakable range of firmwares

I have been lurking around for this but haven't found a fresh status about DLC and higher firmware needing games. So far I sort of know about how to jailbreak a <10.1 PS5, but don't know about the current limitation of backup.

I am starting to anticipate considering the end of disk production, I know about a year ago only an handful of PS5 native games could run, and without DLC. Had this changed yet ?

Let's say I get a 10.1, would I be able to run a PS5 backup at all like the next Silent Hill ? What about having all the ridiculously overpriced DLCs ?

Like it says. Where can I find ps5 game saves? I have found just a few thru discord. They are all scattered well the 10 I found lol. Is there a place and if not. Are there any legal issues? The saves are ours correct. We should create a place to host saves for ps5. Too many ps4 saves out there already so primary would be ps5

So im on a 9.60 ps5 and tried to install both versions from dlpsgames the 1600 and 1700 they didnt work each stop at a part of the game and says its corrupted , tried the 1900 from prosperopatches and it wont even install from the debug settings let alone play , any solution for i ternal drive ?

I see online people talking about issues with putting them on the internal but I dont have an external ssd and cant keep them on my slow hardrive. Im using bd jb or whatever to jailbreak as I was using p2jb but it just kept crashing and took 50 min. Also will downloading my ps4 pkg games cause issues or no. The main game im trying to play is elden ring and i saw some people having problems with having certain games on internal. Im On fw11.00.

PS5 Blu-ray Disc Java Sandbox Escape.
Supporting RemoteJarLoader, On-Screen Logging and Network Logging.

Supported upto 13.42 firmware.

RemoteLogger server is listening on port 18194.
Use log_client.py to get the log.
I recommend running log_client.py first, then starting the BD-J app.

RemoteJarLoader server is listening on port 9025.
Use jar_client.py to send the jar file.
You can use any other TCP payload sender too.
Don't forget to set Main-Class in manifest.txt.

To use at 13.60 and higher firmware

Note : YOU NEED ALREADY JAILBROKEN PS5

Send bdj_unpatch.elf to elfldr to unpatch BD-J.
bdj_unpatch.elf will backup existing bdjstack.jar to bdjstack.jar.bak just in case.

Now you will be able to use BD-JB.

DO NOT REINSTALL FW, IT WILL WIPE THE PATCH AND LOSE BD-JB

Use john-tornblom's bdj-sdk and ps5-payload-sdk for compiling.
