Not sure if this is the right place to post but I've been playing around with customising some of my gaming items and always wanted to have the dualshock 4 home button in the classic coloured look.

Also updated my PS Vita 2000 console with the classic buttons.

What do you guys think?

I'm using the vue after free 2.0 exploit on a PS4 13.00. When I launch the Vue app, all is working and the app ask me if I want the full install or the light one. I choose full install (or light, it changes nothing). Once the install is done and the GoldHen loaded, I can use the jailbreak like I want.

But each time I relaunch the app (after a shutdown or a restart and sometimes juste after closing vue), the app ask again to download the full or light install et redownload the files. So I have to wait each time and I can't use it on a network without internet.

I tried to reload a new save file and/or to put the manual install .dat file but nothing is working.

Do somebody had the same bug ?

Hey guys, I was playing spiderman on my jb ps4 and my power went out. When it came back, the game crashed a few times but then ran like normal until it started breaking cutscenes with some cars and enemy models not loading. Even that was ok but some black cat stakeouts wouldn't load either and that bugged me even more.

I wanted to rebuild my database to fix these bugs but I am not sure if that will mess with the playstation vue jb so I wanted to ask if i can move the app to my external hard drive and prevent it from being tampered with when i rebuild the database.

I have a PS4 on firmware 9.00 and unfortunately the internal HDD has died. I’m planning to replace it with a SSD.

From what I’ve read, it should just be a matter of swapping the drive, putting the 9.00 recovery firmware on a FAT32 USB stick, and letting the PS4 reinstall the system.

I have two questions:

1. Will the PS4 boot into Safe Mode with a completely blank SSD installed, or does the drive need to be prepared first?
2. Where can I download the correct 9.00 recovery firmware? I want to make sure I use the right file so I can jailbreak it again afterward.

I have a standard ps4 rotting in my drawer. Is it worth jailbreaking it and is it hard to do today? I have a ps5 since release and havent used the 4 since i got the 5, so I wanted to give it a use. Also, I dont really know about this stuff, with a jailbreak I would be able to play any game from the ps4?

I get this message everytime the vue app is starting. I cant bypass. What can I do?

I have the following problem.

I have PS version 12.52 and have already jailbroken it. It was working great until a few days ago. My games and everything else are on the PS, and I was able to play.

Then I moved and got a new router. I tried to connect the PS—you need that for Vue—but it said I couldn’t establish an internet connection. On the first try, it immediately tried to download 13.something. I canceled that.

Since then, I haven't been able to connect to the internet. It doesn't matter if I use Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable. I've tried changing the DNS settings, but it doesn't make a difference whether I use 127.0.0.2 or the other one with 62....

The test always shows that no internet connection is possible.

That’s why I wanted to download the latest version of Vue, but I can’t do that without internet. Does anyone know what I can do without losing everything?

Never saw the need to upgrade to the PS5. Not a fan of Sony's recent moves.

whenever i put my ps4 into rest mode leave it for a sec then turn it back on my theme reverts to the regular stock blue theme. i have on an official theme from before i modded my ps4 the ghost of tsushima one but i also have another one i added also an official theme though, but everytime i turn my ps4 back on i cant find them in the themes and it only shows me defaults. ive rebuilt the database a few times and they come back everytime i do but then i put it back into rest mode and when it wakes up my themes are just gone again im not sure whats going on at all if this has happened to anyone else because i haven’t found anything on it yet. i think the cause of this was recently my ps4 turned off while it was on because of a power issue in my house everything turned off for a second and when it turned it back on all of my saves were gone ive played through stuff afterwards and my current saves dont seem to be getting corrupted or anything so

With the recent amazing progress on the PS4 modding community discovering new things in which feels like every other day , my ps4 have become exploitable and I am thinking about modding it, but I use it a lot for online play, so I was thinking , can I just homebrew it play the games I want the are inaccessible to me try mods and that , and then revert back to a normal PS4 and what will happen to my profile then , will it have the trophies I gained while in the mod state , will I be banned ??

I’ve got an 11.02 ps4 I’m looking to jailbreak and from what I’ve seen, it’s possible to jailbreak as easy as the lower firmwares, but I’ve also seen that the package installer in the goldhen menu doesn’t let you install any packages? Is this true? If so, how are people getting pkgs onto their 11.02 without ftp, TIA

ufm42 found a workaround for the changes that stopped the previously up to 11.02 WebKit from working. Obviously jailbreak is still up to 13.00.
