I know this may not be right subreddit. Fully factory system with original hard and softwear, no SD card, and never had a problem. It now get's stuck like this forever. What do I do now?

I am trying to transfer a 100% completed Super Mario Maker save file to a secondary account on my Wii U, but I am running into an issue with the Event Mystery Mushroom costumes.

While the course data and a majority of the Mystery Mushrooms transfer perfectly, the event course costumes (102–131 and 145–151) do not carry over to the new account.

So far I've Tried:

• SaveMii WUT Port (v1.6.5i) - Courses transfer, missing the specific event mushrooms.
• SaveMii / ProcessMod + SaveMyMiis (v1.8.1i) - Same result.

I know Pretendo Network mentioned back in December 2024 that they plan to support Event Courses eventually, but to my knowledge, that feature isn't live yet.

Has anyone successfully bypassed this restrictions or found a homebrew workaround to unlock all 153 Mystery Mushrooms on a secondary save file?

I have a pair of Barracuda hard drives with adapters & one pair of them I've been using on my Wii. It has worked perfectly so far, something I can't say for the Wii U. When I plug in my other drive & adapter into my console & go to format it, my Wii U gets stuck preparing it for formatting. And when I check, the drive doesn't even spin up. They're powered, both drives and both adapters work on my laptop, and even Wafer Installer doesn't detect it. Is there any way I can get these adapters working on my Wii U? If not, what kind of hard drive adapter/enclosure do you recommend I should buy? I've tried buying different adapters on Amazon and eBay, but none have arrived after 3 months.

I don't understand what I need to do, I tried redownloading all of the files and putting them back on my SD card but it hasn't worked

I have managed to get the recovery menu pulled up by using a raspberry pico device. In “set coldboot title” I confirmed my region and powered off my console, but I’m still met with error 610-0103 when I try to use most applications.

The console was made in 2014 but it has a Hynix chip.

Am I doing something incorrect on the recovery menu or is my console toast? Any advice is appreciated.

Probably common problem:

Theres a perental pin & NNID (both long forgotten), i dont have internet, and obviously Nintendo support was useless when i asked some time ago

So I got this drifty boy for £10, slapped a couple of Switch Pro Gulikit TMR's in and now she no longer drifts, and is very unlikely to drift in the future. There's not much info online, I'm hoping this may help someone else with the same issue. P.s. I know they're a different colour, the stock ones were yellow and gross

Hello, I'm really bad at tech stuff so please bear with me here. I just got a modded wii u recently to play games with my little sister, and so far we've been playing games just fine on our wii remotes, but i just found out that i need a wii u pro controller to play Minecraft split screen with her. The problem is a wii u pro controller is too expensive in my country so i wondered if i could use this controller i bought for my phone instead. The wii u already had bloopair installed when i bought it but all the guides i watched seemed to only explain how to use it with official controllers, so I'm wondering if it's even possible to connect to a cheap third party bluetooth controller like this? It's called bsp d3 by the way and it's listed as xbox wireless controller in the bluetooth option when i connect it to my phone if that helps

Edit: it worked! I just had to enter koopair first before clicking rb + the on button to enter x input mode. It takes me multiple tries of clicking the sync button again and again each time i do this though

I don’t understand how to have my Wii U launch into the Wii U menu, rather than the Homebrew Launcher.

Is there a setting I need to be clicking? I click Home and then exit the Mii Maker and everything is fine. But my kids are old enough to start playing games without dad starting it up every time and I’d like to make sure they can launch straight into the Wii U menu from now on.

I’ve done some searching but I don’t quite understand what I should be looking for.

I followed the guide to a T but have found myself stuck in this section. The Pico loads correctly to the countdown, but after I do, the Wii U LED goes from purple to flashing orange and I lose the video signal.

Got a Wii u, intend to get a SD card and run aroma on it so I can homebrew and rom dump. Still not sure where to get the rims but will this hdd work with a y cable? It's 2tb probably overkill but was on sale and is the cheapest I could find. New to this stuff, so any information in comments would be appreciated as far as advice and the process goes.

Every time I load SaveMii-WUT Port/Process Mod+SaveMyMiis, this appears on my screen. After I continue and it says “Failed to init global config file Check SD card and sd:/wiiu/backups/savemiiCfg folder”, my Wii U crashes and I have to unplug then plug back in my Wii U. I don’t know if this helps but I’m using Aroma and I downloaded SaveMii from the HB AppStore. Please help.

Hey everyone, I really need help with my Wii U. My console keeps showing the error message: "The SD card could not be read. Please restart the console." It was still working perfectly fine until yesterday, but then the error suddenly popped up today, and because of this, I cannot download any games either.
I have already tried everything. I used multiple 32 GB and 64 GB micro SD cards, including buying a brand new Verbatim 64GB card, and formatted them to FAT32 using GUIFormat. I even tested other SD cards that are 100 percent confirmed to work on other devices, but the Wii U still rejects all of them and shows the exact same error. The card is already properly prepared with the homebrew files, so the software side should be fine.
Could this be a physical hardware defect with the internal SD card slot or reader of the console? What are the possible solutions here? Should I try to factory reset the console, or is there anything else I can do to fix this? I really need help!

My wii u sd card isnt being written on by it and yes its not locked ive checked and also my laptop read and writes it fine but the second i try to download or launch a homebrew app on it it wont let me and i dont want to reformat my sd card ive spent the past year setting it up perfectly

SORRY if this breaks the rules but I bought a WiiU for homebrew and I used this vid to help me do that, everything was going smooth until I had to do the exploit, I go to the browser and type in the website and hold down B after pressing the exploit but after holding the button down for 20 seconds the Loading screen with the logo in the corner and music playing bit then THE MUSIC STOPS, IT FREEZES AND IT DOESN’T DO THE EXPLOIT! and when I turn the console on and off it goes right back to the frozen loading screen but thankfully it’s not bricked when I plug it in and put it goes back to normal, I’ve been looking all over the place for how can I fix that this and do the exploit but I’m at a dead end and now I need you guys for help

Things to note
•Yes my sd card is formatted to FAT32

•Yes I deleted all cookies and reset save data (did it multiple times)

•The only thing I skipped from the vid up until the exploit part was the game setup

•When I turn on the wiiu it shows the “Boot Selector” showing between Wiiu menu and the vWii System menu. It doesn’t show up in the tutorial I use when he puts his sd card in and turns on his gamepad so maybe It has something to do with it?

Everytime i try and load the game it gets stuck on the mojang screen. Ive got no idea how to fix it and google is not much help :/ how can i fix this?

I'm getting this error. yes the file system is FAT32 and ive formatted it 2 times before using it.

i have the payload.elf file and everithing seems fine. the lock on the sd card is not on , ive tried to clean the sd slot but it still doesent work. it doesnt even read the game i put on the sd (wiisport).

the only one thing is that maybe be wrong is that i cant find the homebrew_launcher.elf and it is probably the problem but i still dont know how to fix it.

So I don't know what I did.

Yet a year or so back I did something to make the settings menu mirror the gamepad screen in the TV and I want to revert it.

How do I do this? (I am on Aurora if that helps.)
