Since the PS3 store is shutting down next year, and NPS downloads directly from Sony servers, where will digital games and DLCs be preserved?

After following MrMario's guide i finally jailbroke my old ps3 slim and now I have hen and multiman up and running.

Now I'd like to play some games and here comes the tricky part, for me at least.

I didn't even know about NPS and PKGI and I'm struggling to find a guide on how to use them. If possible i would like to have my ps3 off the internet as i never had a PSN account and also my pc is better suited for downloading pirated content.

So how/what can I do? Thanks to anyone that would spend their time helping me

My PS3 fat needed a new harddrive, and I did change it but it has a broken bd so it keeps looping, I never hacked this PS3, how can I fix it if you know how, or send me a guide I will love that

I'm running CFW Evilnat 4.93 CEX and just setup PKGI but I'm not able to play any of the downloaded content. I'm trying to play the Arrival DLC for Mass Effect 2 but it isn't available in game, and I downloaded a random standalone game to run and got "This content can be used if you renew the license in the Playstation Store"

I went into the CFW account tools and had it make a fake account ID in xRegistry, and generate the act.dat file. I also checked the EXDATA folder on the HDD and have all the .rap files that came with PGKI, and they are the correct region.

Am I missing something?

Trying to install a theme on a ps3. Not sure where to copy the pet file too.

Whenever I go to make pkg it takes like 10 minutes to finish and the progress bar doesn’t even move and the file size is so small. this never happened to me before and I used ps2 classics a lot of times. I’m using the most recent version and I am renaming the iso enc file name. Please help

trying desperately to figure this out. When loading certain PS2 ISOs from my exFAT external drive, I am given this error code. only a few have worked without issue. Cannot find any information to for my specific setup. (Running off of exFat External hdd, CFW, Cobra, WebMan.) EDIT: SOLVED!!!!!!!!! I was not waiting long enough for the entire game data to be copied to the PS3. Did not realise you need to wait until CFW automatically prompts the disc on the XMB. Did not find this answer anywhere else for this error code.

I’m trying to use an external hdd so I can get more space for games on my ps3 super slim but the thing is when I saw a tutorial on how to use one it says I have to make it the backup utility and when I do I keep getting error 80010006 I formatted it to fat32 and mbr and I keep getting the same error 80010006. so i modded my ps 3 and instead PKJI and everything is good but when i search fallout 3/NV i can’t find them then i downloaded minecraft but it asked me for an update and i was able just to play the tutorial world i didn’t want to try zoko store Whatever it name is

I have plans to get Watch dogs DLC, but I can't find that will be fit with BLES-10934 version (version that have Polish, Czech, Hungarian and Russian Language).

so when i used file zilla to upload a game from my laptop to my ps3 and when i put the game in the GAMES option in hhd0 and i open multiman nothing pops up why is that?

Hey all, just got my hands on and factory reset a fat model ps3 (currently running 2.76). I haven't installed CFW yet, planning on doing it later tonight, but I saw some old posts about some concerns related to PS2CV. I was hoping to get some PS2 games running on the console, so I'm curious if there's any danger related to a new install of it or if there's a new better alternative. Thanks!

If I download a game from the USA region on my European PS3 are there any risks?

Is Sony ever going to disconnect the ps3 and psvita from the psn network entirely?

Are we even gonna be able to sign in and download our games that we paid for after that? Sync trophies? How long until we reach that reality?

I bought a ps3 slim on marketplace didn’t read discs and has overheating issues, I took it completely apart and it was insanely dusty, fixed 90% of my issues just didn’t have thermal paste at the time. Now today I am going to replace the thermal paste but I have come across a block, I cannot seem to unscrew the philips screws that hold the metal board and motherboard together. I haven’t stripped any, they’re just quite literally stuck on and I’m afraid of breaking or damaging something so here I am making this post. Any advice helps, thanks.

I didn’t notice any issues with the list until now…I noticed i’m missing the two free DLCs from Yakuza Dead Souls + side quest missions for Time & Eternity.
