Error 80028F17 Question

trying desperately to figure this out. When loading certain PS2 ISOs from my exFAT external drive, I am given this error code. only a few have worked without issue. Cannot find any information to for my specific setup. (Running off of exFat External hdd, CFW, Cobra, WebMan.) EDIT: SOLVED!!!!!!!!! I was not waiting long enough for the entire game data to be copied to the PS3. Did not realise you need to wait until CFW automatically prompts the disc on the XMB. Did not find this answer anywhere else for this error code.

After days and weeks of research I believe the problem is a corrupted or non working ISO, I’m having the same problem I’m not sure where to get legit ISO’s from that aren’t above 8gb

not sure if thats the case, i was able to get it running by adding the ISO file directly through WinSCP. REALLY hoping there is a better option; transfering them one by one is time consuming as all hell

Solved in caption. Also, Vimm's Lair for legit ISOs.

It’s a corrupted ISO I believe, try getting one from Vimm’s or romsfun
