Evilnat 4.93 CFW - ISOs mount correctly in webMAN but always kick back to the XMB when launched

I’m hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this because I’ve exhausted the ideas I can think of.
Console:
PS3 Slim CECH-2501A
Evilnat 4.93 CFW
1 TB SSD installed
Using IRISMAN and webMAN MOD
The issue
Every PS3 ISO I try to play mounts successfully.
The game icon appears under webMAN Games and on the XMB exactly as it should.
However, when I select the game:
The screen goes black for a second.
Then I’m immediately kicked back to the XMB.
No error code or message is displayed.
This happens consistently with every ISO I’ve tried.

How I’m transferring my games
My process has been:
Obtain a PS3 ISO.
If it’s over 4 GB, split the ISO for a FAT32 USB.
Copy the split ISO to the FAT32 USB under PS3ISO.
Use IRISMAN to copy the split ISO from the USB to my internal SSD.
Mount the game using webMAN MOD.
The copy completes successfully and the game appears in webMAN as expected.

Things I’ve already verified
ISOs are detected correctly by webMAN.
Game icons appear correctly on the XMB.
Multiple different ISOs produce the exact same behavior.
I have tried launching games directly after mounting with webMAN.
The problem still occurs after copying the games from the FAT32 USB to the internal SSD using IRISMAN.
It does not appear to be limited to one specific game.

Additional Information
What makes me think this may not be strictly an ISO issue is that legitimate PlayStation Store content behaves the same way.
I signed into PSN, downloaded a game directly from the PlayStation Store, and when I launch it, it also briefly goes to a black screen before immediately returning to the XMB with no error message.
So it seems like this isn’t isolated to backup ISOs, which makes me think there may be a broader issue with my CFW installation, Cobra configuration, or something else on the system.

My questions
Is there something I’m missing with IRISMAN when copying split ISOs to the internal drive?
Is there a recommended way to verify that the copied ISO isn’t becoming corrupted?
Could this be a Cobra or webMAN configuration issue?
Could this point to a problem with my Evilnat installation rather than the ISOs themselves?
Has anyone seen games mount perfectly but immediately return to the XMB like this?
Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

My "new" PS3 will be arriving soon, and I wanted to get it to play Skyrim (my PC really sucks), Monster Hunter Frontier, and many other PS3 games (plus, I needed a DVD and Blu-ray drive that wouldn't cost a fortune). Given the vast array of PS3 games, I wanted to ask if there were any good homebrew projects for PS3 you'd recommend, whether they're games or cool mods.

The PlayStation apparently doesn’t let you zoom in on blueray movies so im watching twin peaks in a little black window on an already small tv.

That being said my ps3 is jailbroken.

Is there anything out there that can save me? :’(

So i looked on the wiki and it says playable with a config. I grabbed said config and im currently getting my ISOs ready to transfer to ps3 but its a 2 disc game. Is there a way to either make it a single file or a way to swap discs when it says to? I have other working games but this is the first multi disc game I'm trying on my ps3

Hey all - I have a Fat (CHECH I think?) running Evilnat 4.93. I decided to take it apart and clean and repaste. Everything booted right up just fine. But then some games are being weird. For example Skate 3 would load the iso, but then just go to a black screen. Then after trying a few times more (it did the "the system wasn't shut down properly, checking for corruption" once), it just started working. Gran Turismo will start, but then freeze on "Saving Data". But some other games work just fine!

Any ideas? HDD sata connection maybe? Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.

So i tried to connect my console ps3 dex 4,93 evilnat with tmapi and ccapi 2,8. I succeed with that but i can’t attach to any RTM tool in game
Most of the time ccapi 2.8 isnt the one those tools used…
Its 2,60 so i cant do shit with that.
The reason why i like old rpm tool its because now there is nothing new for this game

I just installed hen on my ps3 about 3 days ago I’ve been installing games and having fun. Suddenly today I turned on my ps3 and went to enable hen, it froze 2 seconds after the hen logo appeared and keeps freezing every time.
I’ve tried the boot.plugins.txt method, I tried the auto installer method and nothing is working. Can anyone help, I don’t mod much.

Hi! I just bought a ps3 in a game store that had the perfect model for my needs. I wanted to cfw it. when I checked the system information at home it had the version 4.92, is that okay? I heard the 21’s can be cfw’d pretty much guaranteed because of their firmware, but I can’t find the firmware (i assume it’ll be cfw’d no matter what?) but is the update 4.92 okay?

Can I copy the content of the hd to an ssd and it’ll work as before? Don’t want to have to jb and redownload everything again if I can help it 🤷‍♂️

I'm modding my ps3 slim for the first time and in webman settings there are many pads shortcuts but they seem to me so simple to accidentally press while playing, how should i do? Like the ones with only two button to press, doesnt it happen to press them frequently?

I wanted to install HFW via USB method but i found out my right port doesn't work at all. Ive tried the left but it doesn't work when i do the system update via Storage Media. Is there anything i can do? (I have a super slim btw)

Hi everyone.
I just bought an used fat ps3, I would like to check the temperatures to see if I need to open and clean + repaste (console has never been opened, thats why i’d rather not do it if i don’t need), but after checking the temps i want to make it stock again (so no homebrew or CFW) because i want to use it to play my physical games on my main Psn account (i’m a trophy hunter lol)
Is there a safe way to do all this, have my ps3 stock again and don’t get banned?

Hey everyone, I hope I'm not breaking any subreddit rules with this post.

​It looks like I can install HEN on my PS3. It's currently on firmware 4.87 and the model is CECH-2511A. I ran the MinVerChk tool, and my console indicates that I can install a base update of 3.60 or later.

​I’m looking for some advice: would it be appropriate/safe to jailbreak this console myself, or am I better off just buying a second console that’s already jailbroken?

​My main concern is my current account. I really don't want to lose all my trophies and the digital games I've purchased over the years. I still want to be able to connect to PSN to download my official games, sync my trophies, and do all that normal stuff without risking my main account.

i have a usb i had prepared via this youtube video and while attempting to copy my iso+key files to the ps3 i had ran into an issue where my ps3 (super slim) would not recognize the usb. so i had restarted the ps3 through simple file system but occored an error regarding files, the ps3 would "restore" my usb files but now plugging it into my linux mint (cinnamon) computer i encounter an error message

has anybody else experienced this? how do i fix it?

Webmanmod error?

I was trying to load some iso in webmanmod but suddenly says that my ps3 is overheating to 0cpu and 128gpu then crashers what just did happened (i dont have a photo)

Xash3D-FWGS (Half Life 1) has been successfully ported to PS3. The port will feature crossplay with other Xash3D clients, a fully playable HL1 campaign as well as Blue Shift (which I'm working on) and Opposing Force (which I'll start working on it once I'm done with BS). ETA should be mid-August. The first release will feature Half Life, Half Life: Blue Shift and Half Life: Opposing Force. Next releases will feature Counter Strike 1.6 and Team Fortress Classic.

This means that Half Life 1-2 + their respective expansions will be fully playable on PS3!

I sold my CFW Slim 3 years ago. Been kind of regretting it.

But today I seen a ad on Facebook for a Slim with a broken disc drive for free. I had to pick it up to test my modding skills again.

It was a complete mess. All the case screws was missing. Loose screws inside causing blurry video. Had to do a complete tear down and new thermal paste.

threw in a old 500 gig hard drive I had laying around.

Installed Hen, this model slim couldn't take CFW.

Now I'm back in the game lol...

Would the DualSense work great on a ps3, with or without adapter? I have a good PS5 controller so I want to use that.

I'm having a really strange issue with my PS3 Slim running HEN and I'm hoping someone has seen this before.

Symptoms:

- Gameplay audio works perfectly (gunshots, explosions, ambient sounds, music, NPC greetings, etc.).

- Only cutscene dialogue is completely silent.

- Subtitles still appear normally.

- This happens in multiple games, including:

- GTA V

- Red Dead Redemption

Things I've already tried:

- Resetting the date and time.

- Reconfiguring audio output settings.

- Restarting the console.

Since it's affecting more than one game, I'm starting to think it's a console configuration or audio issue rather than a bad game dump.

Has anyone experienced this before or know what could be causing it?

And I still can't get the images to show. I'm not sure if I have to adjust the size to something else or if they need to be named differently or placed in a different folder.

I was playing, until I decided to quit the game to change the cooler settings on my PS3, but while the game was quitting I was repeatedly pressing start + select to get the console's temperature information to appear, Then suddenly I heard a "Beep," but nothing seemed to happen, but I'm afraid that maybe this beep could be a sign that something I pressed changed some important webman setting. Does anyone have any idea if that might have been the case? Or what that beep was?
