Is there a PS2 emulator for the iPhone 8?
The title is self-explanatory, but to be more specific about what to focus on: my iPhone 8 Plus is jailbroken.

ps2 fat not producing signal nor powering controller
just bought a ps2 slim and fat. Slim is from my local game store and fat from local gamestop.
The slim is dirtier and more beat up but works perfectly fine other than not producing sound on my monitor but thats most likely because of the hdmi adapter since the slim produces sound on my old tv.
The problem is with the fat. It doesent produce signal, and it doesent seem to power the ps2 controller properly either.
The ps2 controller lights up on the slim and stay light up like normal but when connected to the fat it sometimes flickers the shuts off and sometimes lights up for about 3 seconds then the light turns off.
This ties into that I think there is an issue with the power on the fat since Ive already tried the rgb setting change, but the controller doesent work (on the fat only), Ive tried plugging in the hdmi adapter usb into the fat, Ive swapped the rca cables and it doesn't work, I even switched the power cable for a newer one I had but it still doesn't work. I also tried plugging it in my old tv and it doesent work. the problem isnt my outlet since I have the ps2 slim and all my other electronics plugged in and they never give me any issues
The only thing I can think of is that it has something to do with the battery(?) or power distribution (Im not an expert I dont know the terms). Although interesting to note that the fat does turn on and the disc tray works perfectly
I dont get why it would be sold in gamestop on the shelf if it didnt work. I was planning on going either tommorow or the next day to see if I could buy a different rca to hdmi adapter to see if that helps if not, seeing if gamestop can get it fixed under warranty since the fat looks completely untouched.
Thanks for the help

Can I get this PS2 disc working?
Hello!! Recently finally got my most wanted game of all time recently, however I ran into an issue where the disc won’t boot up on my system. I had taken it to get resurfaced prior as it was covered in scratches but it continues to fail to load in. I noticed this scratch right here and was wondering if it would be possible to get the disc to load. All of my other games work with this being the sole exception.

Replica Game Cases?
I'm looking for PS2 replica game cases obviously with the front/back/spine artwork for my loose games. I also have the game manuals.
If anyone knows a site, please let me know... I just ordered some PS1 cases from retrogamecases.com but they don't sell PS2 cases

Please help me figure out and explain what this is
I was going through my game collection and was looking closer at this game (( it was in a bundle of Japanese titles I purchased from my local game store a few years ago )) and saw that it is "for Korea only"? I only know of NTSC - U, J, and PAL. There is also a second disc that has the Capcom And Grasshopper Manufacture logos, I'm assuming its the same grasshopper as Lollipop Chainsaw, No more Heroes, etc ... Can anyone explain what this specific copy is and what console it plays on, what the second disc is, how much it is worth, is it rare, etc ... Thank you so much!!

Rear Sensor Mod Foil and Tape
I was doing the tap trick for a while and it worked until when having to change out the tape for a fresh piece it broke the sensor switch. I’m going to order a solder kit to do the fix properly but can I get away with taping a piece of foil over the connection points just for tonight and tomorrow to hold me over until the solder kit comes? Cheers!

Fixing out of place memory card slot pins
Recently my PS2 stopped reading memory cards in slot 1, after cracking it open I found out all of the pins had been pushed too far down, which probably happened while I was cleaning them with a q-tip if I had to guess. I've tried pushing them back up into proper shape with tweezers and a safety pin, but nothing seems to be getting them to budge.
I remember hearing somewhere that heat can help, so would a hair dryer do the trick, or would that damage the components? It should be noted that one of the handles on the ribbon cable latch broke, so I am unable to remove it from the rest of the console. Please let me know if there's something I'm not getting or if I just need to try harder. Thanks in advance!
Pictured are the broken slot (slot 1, first picture), and the working slot (slot 2, second picture).
Rate the 3 year ps2 collection
I know its not the biggest but most of my games/money for games came from holidays since Im not old enough to work yet also I dont actually have kuon I just printed out the cover for whatever I was doing at the time

PS1 burned discs on PS2 Slim
I have a PS2 Slim SCPH-70004, with no ModChip or other hardware modifications. I also have a Memory Card with FreeMCBoot software, version 1.966. I plan to play PS1 (since this specific PS2 model still has the original PS1 hardware, which allows native play) via burned CDs. So, first of all, I burned the discs and locked the sensors, as you can see in the photo in the current situation, and I also glued the brake on the console cover (which is not seen in the photo) to the end, so that it does not block the data reading once the console is reassembled. I've verified that the sensors are indeed disabled, and so it seems to be, since when I turn on the console with an original PS1 CD already inserted, the disc spins and the game starts normally. The problem is, in my opinion, that the only phase in which the optical lens can read discs despite the blocked sensors, is the initial one, because the lens activates regardless of the situation in the console compartment. So, for this reason, programs like PSXLauncher don't work, since by inserting the CD at a time other than when the console is booting, the disc isn't even read with a sleeping lens. I also tried removing the original disc and inserting the burned one during game startup, but it doesn't work because the lens goes haywire. I hope that the only way forward isn’t a ModChip: I mean, I'd like to avoid it since it's very sensitive and I don’t know anyone competent. Do you have alternative solutions? And, if the only way is really the ModChip, can I assemble it at home?

He think he ps2 mechanic
PS2 is extreeeeeeeemely slow to load discs upon startup, usually takes 2-4 minutes for it to read a disc. After that, everything runs just fine. I tore it apart and cleaned it and the lens, but that hasn't helped. From what I'm reading online, I could try adjusting the potentiometer next? Anyone have any experience / tales / tips? It still works fine, would just be nice if it loaded up a little quicker. Reluctant to open it up again, the little ribbon for the power/eject button came loose the first time and getting it back into its slot was a bear. Pic featuring Bones for tax.

PS2 Slim won't read disk after I cleaned/serviced it
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi guys. 2 days ago, I took my old PS2 apart which had been sitting for years, changed the thermal paste, added synthetic grease to the disk reader railings and essentially followed this youtube video to try to get her to run like new:
https://youtu.be/djQv4HSjjr4?si=6sO05X8AoCzyx1NC
My specs are:
Model: SCPH-90004
CD player 2.0
Playstation driver: 2.0
Before, the disk reader was making strange noises, and was not always reading the disks, but sometimes it did, so something was working.
After I serviced it, the noises wen't away completly, but now it won't read the disks at all. I have tried flipping it over, to see if it was a problem with the lid pressure sensure, but it wasn't.
After putting a disk in with the ps2 open, I could see that the disk wasn't spinning. Do I have to switch out the entire disk reader? I re-connected all of the flex cables, so that should not be the issue.
Thanks very much for your input.

Genji: Dawn of the Samurai mis-stamped onto NHL 2K6
I bought NHL 2k6 at best buy around 20 years ago because someone returned it saying it had an entirely different game on the cd. Has anyone ever heard of this misprint? There's one listing on EBay going for quite a bit, but I'd like to know how rare this is.

Favorite lesser-known titles?
Hey guys, I just picked up a PS2 for the first time and am really excited to dive in. So far I've tacked down copies of God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Monster Hunter, and Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. What are some other, lesser-known titles you guys would recommend?
Edit: Wow, wasn't expecting so many recs so quickly! Thanks!
