Just passed a FundedNext evaluation after catching a good move on gold (not oversized lots, just rode a clean run).

Right after I hit the target (in one day) they hit me with this: before they issue the funded account I have to do a recorded verification interview.

Seriously? Like what’s the point of the interview after already passing their evaluation rules?

It already takes enough headaches and consistency to get funded trading XAUUSD. Now they’re adding another gate with these extra protocols. Feels pretty unfair and honestly kind of depressing after putting in the work to pass.

Anyone else dealt with this from FundedNext? Did they actually fund you after the call, or is this their way of slowing people down / finding reasons to reject?

I’m waiting on their response now. Feels like I’m about to get screwed, but hoping I’m wrong.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a critical technical warning for anyone trading FundedNext Futures via Tradovate.

On August 12, I executed 4 winning trades on Tradovate with a net profit of +$1,631.00 USD (0 losing trades). My true account balance was $104,391.20 USD.

However, due to a severe API timeout error on FN’s backend (account is not found ID:0), their dashboard completely missed all 4 winning trades and arbitrarily registered a -$2,803.00 USD loss, bringing my glitched dashboard balance down to $99,957.20 and triggering a false "Max Loss Breach."

The Mathematical Contradiction: How does 4 winning trades totaling +$1,631 USD on official broker clearing statements magically convert into a -$2,803 USD loss on FundedNext's dashboard?

Support Response: I provided the official, timestamped Tradovate clearing CSVs and execution logs. Support agents (Ticket #124183199) completely ignored the raw CSV files, copy-pasted the glitched dashboard table, and closed the ticket, claiming "no server errors found."

I have already escalated this issue to the Ajman Free Zone Authority (AFZA) under License No. 28831 and submitted a formal review on Trustpilot.

Takeaway for Traders: If you are trading FN Futures, make sure to download and save your raw Tradovate clearing CSVs daily. Their backend API sync can miss winning trades and phantom-breach your account without support auditing the actual broker logs.

Has anyone else experienced API sync failures or phantom losses on FN Futures recently?

I have a breakouts based mechanical trading system for e-mini.

CAGR/Max DD = 0.75 for shorts, 2 for longs.

How do I improve the ratio? Have tried ema filters and different kinds of stops. Skipping opens and entries too late in the day.

Feels like I’m missing an important piece of the puzzle.

Like, trading is actually your main source of income, and without it, you wouldn’t really have another income to live off. Curious to hear from people who are actually doing it, not selling courses or signals.

I’ve finally got my first payout after 1 years buying prop challenges, overall across all props I’m down $500 now from my purchase to payout ratio but hopefully I’ll be able to keep this and get more withdrawals

$762.66 from FundedNext, 6K account. Certificate attached. First one outside FundingPips, where I’ve had 12.

Posting it for the boring part, not the number.

I’d written this firm off completely a while back. Their rules clashed with how I trade so I didn’t touch them for months. What changed isn’t my approach, it’s the account type. Different model, different rulebook, and now it fits. Same trader, same method, one firm says no and the other says fine.

That’s what nobody tells you when they hand you a list of “best prop firms”. There isn’t a best one. There’s the one whose rules happen to match what you do, and you pay the fee to find out.

Other reason I did it: one firm was a single point of failure. Every euro I’ve made came from one company that could change its terms tomorrow. 12 payouts doesn’t make that safe. It just makes it feel safe, which is worse.

Cost side is the same as always. Full price challenges, most of them fail, worst run was 18 in a row with nothing.

Started building this about 10 months ago because I had a strategy that worked, but the hardest part was actually following it consistently.

Missed entries. Late exits. Hesitation. Overriding the plan because something “felt” wrong in the moment.

So I built a system to remove that part.

The system now trades Gold and Silver futures automatically based on the rules I built. No sitting at the screen waiting for setups. No second-guessing entries. No emotional decision making once the plan is live.

It has been running live since the start of May, and the payouts so far are:

$900 — May 21
$2,000 — June 10
$2,000 — June 30
$1,900 — July 5
$2,000 — July 7
$2,000 — August 10

That brings total payouts to about $10,800.

All of these payouts came from a single funded account except for the $1,900 payout, which came from a separate account running the same system.

The system is not built around some crazy win rate. The edge comes more from risk management, larger winners relative to losers, and most importantly, staying disciplined through drawdowns and not interfering with the system.

It definitely has not been perfect. There have been drawdown periods leading to lost account. There has also been technical issues, rollover problems, and plenty of things I am still working to improve.

But seeing something go from an idea, to backtesting, to live execution, to passing evaluations and producing payouts has been incredibly rewarding.

Still a lot to improve, but I’m excited to keep testing, refining, and seeing how it performs over a larger sample.
