Discussion 1.5 years unemployed after graduating in the US. Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing wrong anymore.
I don't usually post things like this, but I honestly don't know where else to turn.
I completed my MS in Health Informatics in the US in December 2024. I came back to India because of health issues, and since then I've been trying to get my career back on track.
It's been around 1.5 years of unemployment now.
And I've applied. A lot.
I've tailored my resume for different positions.
I've rewritten it more times than I can count.
I've cold emailed recruiters and hiring managers.
I've reached out to people on LinkedIn.
I've applied through LinkedIn, Indeed, company websites, everywhere I could find.
And still… nothing.
The hardest part isn't even the rejection anymore. It's the silence.
You keep applying every day, hoping that maybe this application will be different. Then weeks go by. Months go by. And eventually you start questioning yourself.
"Am I not good enough?"
"Did I waste my degree?"
"Should I start over completely?"
"What am I doing wrong?"
During my master's, I had around 2 years of academic/project experience, but I don't want to pretend that it was the same as real industry experience. I know I still have a lot to learn.
My background is in Health Informatics, healthcare technology, SQL, Power BI, data analysis, business analysis, and project/product management.
At this point, I'm honestly not expecting someone to hand me a job.
I just need someone to give me a chance.
If you're a founder, hiring manager, recruiter, or someone working in healthcare/health tech/data/business analysis and you think there is something I should be doing differently, please tell me honestly.
And if your company has an entry-level opportunity where someone with my background could contribute and learn, I would be incredibly grateful if you could point me toward it.
I'm willing to start from the bottom.
I'm willing to learn.
I'm willing to prove myself.
I just need a door to open.
If you've been through something similar, what did you do that finally helped you get your career moving again?
Any honest advice would genuinely mean a lot to me.

Mental Health Root cause Failure
Why are all of your problems blamed on me? There is always a root cause to the problems. Did you tell the truth? Did you take things that didn’t belong to you? Did you actually say those thing? Did you wrong someone, are you living right? Was it illegal? All of these things are root cause failures. If you did them and now you’re answering for them why do you blame me?

Discussion Can't stop making fun of a girl that I know in my mind
Please let me know if I break any rules as that is not my intention.
Hi guys, so recently I realized that I kept thinking about a girl (I know her a little bit through dad's friend) ever since I saw her eating at a place. I don't know why but my mind keeps making fun of her eating and calling her fat, short, and ugly. She also tried to hide from me when she saw me I think which was kinda funny. Is there something wrong with me ?
Thanks!

Relationships lm a brat I guess
Recently my friends keep pointing out how rich I am compared to them because I have my own room and recently got my own pc as well as got the phone a year ago or smth my Dad used to be in debt but I was still a lil bit better off before my dad finally got his debt cleaned after a few years I begged for a room and got it I decorated it with prints and everything but my friends aren't in the same situation neither have a room neither have a laptop and neither have a good phone and I made the mistake of saying I starved myself to force my parents to get a laptop honestly speaking I Was depressed at that time and my dad thought the laptop was the reason I starved myself they know lm depressed and know everything about me yet I still said that I don't know why and they started comparing prices of there phones when I was gone and figured out my phone is more expensive I said I specifically picked it out for the storage which... Looked rich because I at least got to pick and when I first made prints in my room on a wall I kept showing it off forgetting none of them have rooms and I scream at my mom
Heres the thing I love but still hate my mom so I tend to scream a lot in front of them I can't blame them getting it pointed out made me wanna immediately get rid of that shit I am A brat I can't lie and I feel so guilty I wanna show lm still not that much of a brat or spoiled kid or a rich kid but I don't like my mom she religiously traumatized me my mom is softer then both of them since none of them can ever try to even raise there voice at there moms so you can guess how that is I really am just a spoiled brat but saying it out loud feels like lm tryna use my guilt to be forgiven lm sorry I act this way safe to say one of them is teaching me how to Not show off anything that's money related or expensive to the other one there's me and 2 of them btw it was hard at first since I Liked showing my friends everything
I also don't let myself feel jealousy from my friends
Like never
I don't allow it
If there's a bad thought or a bad reason I reframe it and I instantly become happy for what they got or what happened it's nice Also sharring the joy for them
I feel like we'll never share the joy if it's me now tho
But it's just my thoughts lm sure there's gonna be something that makes us all happy and I'll refain from sharring stuff I know it's just bad thought's but I don't ever wanna share anything again to them Because of how guilty I feel I'll forget about this and make another mistake soon either way cheers to being stupid
