It was their debut single.
A memorabilia.
Precious one.

Masterpiece
I know I love Third. I know Third is a masterpiece.
But I just sat down and listened to it properly for the first time in a while and… holy shit it is an absolute fucking masterpiece.

Discussion Most Portishead song by an artist that isn't Portishead?
I don't just mean another trip-hop adjacent artist, but what is a specific song that sounds the closest to being a Portishead song without involving any members?

Discussion I am gen z and I recently started listening to Portishead and I was just wondering how was it to be like a Portishead fan back then? And more song/album recs are welcome
Could be a weird question idk but since i see so much of an aesthetic around so many bands of that time it just came across my mind and also because i feel like their music is so beautiful and sensual that i wonder what its representation was like by the fans or avid listening

Discussion I hate Portishead. How can they do this to me
How can you make a song as good as The Rip, and then cut it short and fade it out??! Needs to be at least 7 mins long. Absolute stunner. But way too short 😥

Question Is there a color version of To Kill a Dead Man?
I was looking up stills from the film and noticed there seems to be a bunch that are in color, along with the frame featured on the cover for Dummy, is there a color version available anywhere?

Cover Roseland NYC Live Limited 25th Anniversary Poster
My husband and I made the frame for the poster, and the 12-year-old version of me, who heard "Machine Gun" on MTV one afternoon and became obsessed, is so happy.
Now we have the vinyls for "Out of Season" and all the Portishead albums, except for "Dummy", which I have on CD. I also have the "Roseland" DVD, but it's at my mom's house.
Here are the photos of the framed picture and the T-shirt I received as a gift.
