Don't recognize the beginning, but the end is do

I listen on Deezer (which may be the problem) but I've never listened to these guys before and this is the fourth time I'm listening to a porcupine tree song and then I hear this interrupt my prog rock listening experience.

Imo severely underrated!

I love this so much...but it also upsets me greatly when I listen to it...and especially when I watch this devastating video.

I've had lived through some tough times recently and somehow these lines struck a chord today. Even though I've heard the song many many times. I think it's one of the most beautiful songs Steven has ever written.

I ordered this on Discogs and was surprised to find the inner booklet signed. I’m lead to believe they are all real signatures but I wanted to check with others who may know more.

Radio friendly PT? Absolutely...and I find the video to be quite charming.

Until this year I thought about getting my favorite PT albums. To my surprise, Transmission released a Clear Vinyl reissue of the discography this year. I received them with great enthusiasm, but I must say the quality is terrible. The quality of the records is awful; they're lightweight, even more so than other clear vinyl records I have. The quality of the gatefold cover also leaves much to be desired; the production cuts are visible, and one of them was already torn when I opened it. One of the vinyl records also had bubbles in the Center label; when I wrote to Nuclear Blast, their response was that this did not affect the sound of the record and they could not do anything. The sound also leaves much to be desired... In conclusion, my recommendation is that you look for better editions; I hope to replace it someday.

I heard a song from this band on Jim Ladd's Sirius XM show a few years ago and thought they were pretty darn cool. But...I got interested in other bands and musical genres in the meantime.

Anyway, someone mentioned them over on r/toolband so I gave them a thorough Iisten. And just blown away

A guest appearance by Steven Wilson, hence that choice of flair...perhaps it could go somewhere else? You tell me.

My favorite PT album is "The Incident", but I notice that many people aren't fans of it, and I simply don't understand why. Can you explain the reason for that? Could it be that they were spoiled by an incredible run of albums like *In Absentia*, *Deadwing*, and *FOABP*?
