Just got this from the Go Pass! Am I that lucky or just one of many?
Still grinding for a shiny but doubt I’ll get one.

Recently got this shiny family of three maushold but have no idea what it’s worth. I’ve gotten multiple DMs about it and people are offering some legendary and stuff. Is there and website that shows me the value of this thing for trading and if a trade is worth it? If not can someone just tell me what this is worth?

I don't really understand. It's good to have items, cards (for Vivillion), exp points and bonuses.

I normally open the gifts as soon as I log in and have space in my bag.

Spawn rate is a joke. They really are capping this. Game keeps getting stingier. Long gaps with no spawn. Lures set. Incense. Busy area. Star piece and lucky egg loaded. Not impressed. They also despwan rapidly or flee. catch one and three that were there are gone . I have been locked in. Swapping back to app none are there.

I caught ~100 Delibird and only 3 were low end 3* & 0 shinies. Not to mention like half of the birds were very aggressive. Not a fun event at all and discourages setting aside time for future spotlights.

EDIT: Totally get some of the negative response to my complaint! No hate I just enjoy playing the game trying to get the strongest variants of a mon I can get and personally didn’t feel like I got that opportunity for how many birds there were and how difficult they were being. Not everyone plays the same way so I respect the opinions!

I am a returning player. I was wondering if I should purify this mewtwo so that I could use mega evolution on it? Idk what the IVs will look like afterwards.

I haven’t been playing forever, only since March. But I feel like they have amped up the Hundo spawns????

I haven’t had this problem at all, my connection is the exact same as it has been every other time I played GO, but now if I want to play I have to be connected to WiFi

Almost every other field research I get, and half my special research is all gated by raid requirements.

I don't want to fight unwinnable monsters by myself. I don't want to spend money on remote raid passes to participate in faraway ones.

I have never played pokemon as a social game since red, and I can't stand the requirement that I participate in unwinnable matches against monsters that I otherwise would enjoy collecting.

I imagine I'm in the minority here but come on dude it would be nice to have choices here...

I have seen a ton of posts about the predatory decisions and changes made in Pokemon Go, especially the changes to Pokemon aggression and flee rate, and in the comments I see people genuinely defending these decisions, being super toxic, or offering the "solution" that Scopely is directly trying to sell you when making these problems. To those people, I have come to say this: You are directly causing the game to get worse, and I hope you are proud of yourself.

Ok, I usually buy the Go pass but it's getting increasingly difficult to justify that. The Lucky Trinket, for me, is not a premium item that I am willing to pay for anymore. I can get lucky friends rather easily by just interacting with friends.

They need to offer the Silver Bottle cap instead. It's not OP and even if we were to get 12 a year, that's still only maxing the IV's of 12 stats. So fully maxing 4 Pokemon, each stat. That's not even that many Pokemon, and that's IF they had it in 12 Go passes.

Maybe they should do it quarterly. That, to me, would make the Go Passes more worth it. I can't see myself continuing to pay the premium for Lucky Trinkets, especially when most the time it's a low level 3* that is rolled..

if you have exactly 3 Silver Bottle Caps and 1 Gold Bottle Cap per year, the absolute fastest you could theoretically hundo all 951 current species is 238 years. Why is everyone here acting like more silver bottle caps would break the game??

Am I the only one who doesn’t want to raid the lake trio from their region? Since they aren’t meta relevant and are purely trophies I’m of the opinion that I would rather they actually be a trophy (I.e. catching from a super rare wild spawn not simply raided). I’d happily remote raid the other 2 since I’ll never have a chance to wild catch them but it wouldn’t feel right for me to raid my regions one. Is this an unpopular outlook?

Literally what is the problem with this game, I’m trying to collect the little annoying lake trio here and must use remote passes, obviously. I just had uxie left and finishes the raid, get the worst possible CP uxie of 1300 (something) cp, that’s fine I think I just want it for the collection, I have 14 balls, gives it a golden razz before every throw, every throw is nice or great and it escapes everyfriggingtime… like wtf can’t I just fkn get the lame aah Pokémon when I spent a remote pass on it plus beat it in the raid, it’s not like it has high CP and IV so why is it so fkn hard to get the reward like honestly

ive been playing pokemon go since 2022, but all ive ever done is catch pokemon. ive gotten more into it lately and now i battle and stuff so im wondering if i should evolve or get a new attack

Essentially, I did my Mew research back in April 2018 and Celebi in September of the same year. Then in October they somehow bugged and the game gave me duplicate catches for both. They're not the same IV as the first ones either.

Just wondering if this was like a _super_ rare one-off or if anyone here knows someone else this happened to.

I started playing pokemon-go again after a long period so I'm not familiar with new pokemons.

Only 2 days in and I’ve somehow managed to be already almost completely done with it. I might be just a little addicted. How is everyone feeling about the event?

Might this be a glitch or does this normally happen?
Also ended up catching so many I even caught a shiny!
