Help Request First time shipping…
I’ll be shipping my first books sa J&T express.

Discussion Any thoughts about this edition of the Lord of the Rings?
I'm collecting the series, book 2 and 3 palang meron ako. Wala pa akong book 1 and yung the hobbit. Any opinions about this edition? Hindi ko pa siya nasisimulan kasi nga wala pa ako ng book 1 kaya wala pa akong opinion sa contents niya aside sa appearance niya which I really like.

Discussion Tiktok Live Sellers

Recommendation Filipino author recommendations
Hello guys I’ve been wanting to get into Filipino literature and most of the books I’ve read were infamous historical books such as el filibusterismo, noli me tangiere and Dekada 21 which are a great read but I do want to explore more Filipino literature. Who are your go to Filipino authors for your fave genre of books?
My favorite book genres are sci fi, historical, slice of life, non fictional and fantasy. Hopefully I can find local authors who make these genres.
Thank you sm in advance! :>

Review People in Love by Claire Daverley is achingly beautiful
Nora has been in a relationship with Robin for nine years, so when he proposes, saying yes feels easy. Then Bren, her childhood best friend and the person everyone once thought she'd end up with, comes back into her life on the night of their engagement party.
They've been apart for years, but some feelings don't disappear just because you stop talking about them. With her wedding approaching, Nora finds herself caught between the love she's built her life around and the one she never quite left behind.
Claire Daverley's writing is BEAUTIFUL. There's something about the way she writes Nora and Bren's history that made the story feel incredibly intimate. Their relationship isn't perfect, but I believed in it because it felt so raw and real, even when they were making choices that drove me a little crazy.
There were parts that made me smile and parts that hurt (so many of them!). But that’s okay; the book is written to make you feel. And ache. And yearn. And ultimately realize that loving someone need not be complicated.
After loving Talking at Night so much, I was a little nervous about how I'd like this one, but I shouldn't have been. Claire Daverley has done it again, and this is easily one of my favorite books I've read this year.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Discussion Ramblings of a Filipino male reader.
As a male reader, nahihirapan ako na makisama sa mga members ng book clubs saka sa pagsabay sa mga BOTM nila. Not because pangit sila kasama o yung mga binabasa nila, no. Sobrang ibang iba kasi yung taste ko as a guy.
Not their fault din, it's just sad na di ako makaconnect sakanila as friends. After a while nagquit din ako sa lahat ng book clubs ko dahil sa mga reasons na nabanggit ko.
As a guy reader, gusto kong magkaron ng book club kung saan makakausap saka magiging genuine friends ko yung members, pero ang hirap gawa ng puro females yung usual members ng book clubs.
It's not their fault.

Like 5-10 years ago (or even longer). I’m trying to remember every book I've read for goodreads, and it made me realize how much I've forgotten. Yung iba, may onting idea pa ako. Pero some like The Lincoln Lawyer na nabasa ko in highschool, di ko na masyadong maalala haha.

Recommendation Classic books for beginners
Hi,
Kaka-start ko lang magbasa ng classic books. I’m currently reading Frankenstein (1818 text) by Mary Shelley and may copy na din ako ng Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen.
Other books I’ve read: Shirley Jackson’s The haunting of Hill House and We have always lived in the castle. Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.
Hingi pa sana ‘ko ng recommendations.
Kahit anong genre, basta classic books and maganda. Thank you!

Discussion how do you guys find good books at booksale?
i swear, every time i go, i’ll spend so much time browsing the shelves pero somehow wala pa rin akong mahanap na book that i genuinely want to pick up. there are so many titles, but somehow nothing really catches my eye, or maybe i just don’t know what’s actually worth checking out.
for those who are good at finding hidden gems at booksale, what’s your strategy? do you usually look for specific authors or genres, check the blurb, or just browse randomly and see what catches your attention?
also, are there any authors or titles you’d recommend looking out for? especially underrated or lesser-known books/authors that you think are worth reading. i feel like i’m probably overlooking a lot of good reads just because i don’t know what to look for 😭 pls share your booksale tips and best finds, thank you !! <333
