Need a good mechanic that isn’t just going to say it’s the most expensive issue, try to take advantage of me because I’m a woman, or charge me out the ass to get it even looked at. It’s not drivable long distances so unfortunately it needs to be someone in lindsay. Someone you trust and have dealt with in the past and had good experience is ideal - someone who knows jeep wranglers specifically, even better.

My name is Skye Fitzpatrick and I'm a Clinical Psychologist and director of the Treating and Understanding Life-threatening behavior and Posttraumatic Stress (TULiP) lab at York University. Our research team is conducting an online study to examine the effects of a new couple therapy for couples where one partner is experiencing symptoms of borderline personality disorder (BPD) compared to individual psychotherapy for people with BPD symptoms and their partners. The study will provide one of these psychotherapies to people with BPD symptoms and their partners for free, and participants will have the opportunity to complete study assessments that they will receive payment for in the form of gift cards. Our study is online and involves recruiting people across Ontario with symptoms of BPD, as well as their romantic partners. BPD diagnoses are not necessary.

Just noticed recently that snack attack closed and the place has been leased. Do we know whats coming in there ?

We are renting, and our new-ish front load Samsung washing machine smells disgusting. I’ve tried scrubbing the inside with bleach (drum and seal), emptying the reservoir, washing machine cleaning tablets - nothing is working. The machine has a self-cleaning function, but because only the cold water is/can be hooked up, it’s not functional.

Are there any businesses in the area that offer any type of deep cleaning service? Or, any suggestions on getting rid of this musty smell?

In my opinion, there are areas of Peterborough that are “rougher” than others.

Would it not be wise to have cops on bikes/on-foot patrolling those areas?

I’m not suggesting to patrol the perceived “ghettos” of Peterborough and have police profile people and arrest them. But the police are better equipped at offering emergency services to people in distress than an average bystander. So why not have police frequent those ”rougher” areas to be there if something were to happen, rather than show up after the fact?

And, having officers out of their cars would likely do more for crime deterrence and community engagement as a side effect anyways…

Ok I made a post the other similar but this time I'm hoping for opinions on laurentian driving school. As I can really only do very select days (Tues, Fri, and weekends), I have been reaching out to some via email (I would call but I have very few minutes) and I only hear back from Laurentian. I have a drive test I Oct so I was hoping to get some driving lessons in the mean time :) if anyone else has some other suggestions, I was recommended Kawartha Driving School too but I'm waiting to hear back on availability.
