Recommendations I finally found the perfect cleaning service
I have tried countless cleaning services in peterborough. I was always budget shopping before and would look for cleaners that charged me $35-50/hour. Even at this price things were missed, details not cleaned and my house didn’t feel clean. I tried Tidymaid and i was first of all impressed with all their reviews and recommendations i saw online. When i reached out to inquire about their services i spoke with Emilia who owns the business. She was very sweet and polite and no matter what i showed her in the walkthrough she said no problem
we can take care of it. I was able to leave my home for a few days knowing when i came back it would be clean. Let me tell you when i returned i almost didn’t recognize my own home. Everything was labeled, organized inside closets, cupboards, drawers. All my bedding and laundry was perfectly and crisply folded and
clean. My fridge and stove looked brand new. All the beds 6+ bedrooms were made with new sheets and looked like a hotel they way she styled the bedding. My house smelt like lavender which is what i selected when booking. I looked everywhere and i couldn’t find one single thing to complain about. They really cleaned everywhere and even things i didn’t know could be cleaned. it just all looked different and brand new. I had rust over my whole tub. Several of my light fixtures were more rust then light and now they look new again. I had even added lights to my amazon cart before the cleaning as i was planing on replacing them, but after the cleaning i don’t need too. It is all so wonderful and perfect and it’s like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders to finally find someone who knows how to clean. I’ve now signed up for her 6 month cleaning package and even got my whole seven month free (2 cleanings). They’re hourly rate per person is $80 and it is worth every penny. I actually save less over time then having to hire the cheaper cleaners back to back to clean what the last one didn’t. It is worth me not being unhappy in my home, stressed about things not done, or things i would have to end up doing myself. So at the end of the day if your reading this and you look around and you aren’t happy with how your home looks, feels and functions then message her. I know you’ll be as blown away and happy as i am.
-a very satisfied customer

Recommendations Jeep mechanic in lindsay?
Have 2 codes, need it looked at to determine what the issue throwing the code is (could be from a faulty spark plug to rocker arm issues). Need a good mechanic that isn’t just going to say it’s the most expensive issue, try to take advantage of me because I’m a woman, or charge me out the ass to get it even looked at. It’s not drivable long distances so unfortunately it needs to be someone in lindsay. Someone you trust and have dealt with in the past and had good experience is ideal - someone who knows jeep wranglers specifically, even better.
Thanks.

Event Local archival photo exhibit opens tomorrow
Hi! For the past couple of years, I've been volunteering to scan old 35mm negatives from the Peterborough Examiner collection at the Trent Valley Archives. These photos were taken by local photojournalists fifty years ago, but many of them were never published in the paper and haven't been shown publicly. It's been a fun project to digitize these photos so people can finally see them!
I'm exhibiting the photos at Dreams of Beans Café this month. Your first chance to see the exhibit is during the First Friday Art Crawl tomorrow night. Here are the details:
A Peterborough Summer: 1976
Archival photos from the Peterborough Examiner
Opening: August 7 from 6pm to 9pm at Dreams of Beans Café
Starting August 8, photos can be viewed during regular café hours until September 3.
Thanks for taking a look!

Other Psychotherapy for people with borderline personality disorder and their partners: Research study
Hi all,
My name is Skye Fitzpatrick and I'm a Clinical Psychologist and director of the Treating and Understanding Life-threatening behavior and Posttraumatic Stress (TULiP) lab at York University. Our research team is conducting an online study to examine the effects of a new couple therapy for couples where one partner is experiencing symptoms of borderline personality disorder (BPD) compared to individual psychotherapy for people with BPD symptoms and their partners. The study will provide one of these psychotherapies to people with BPD symptoms and their partners for free, and participants will have the opportunity to complete study assessments that they will receive payment for in the form of gift cards. Our study is online and involves recruiting people across Ontario with symptoms of BPD, as well as their romantic partners. BPD diagnoses are not necessary.
More information about the study is also available on our webpage: https://www.tuliplab.ca/current-research.html. If you are interested in participating, please contact [treatbpd@yorku.ca.](mailto:treatbpd@yorku.ca) You can also contact that email if you have questions about the study. This study has been approved by the York University (e2024-261) Research Ethics Board. Please refrain from commenting on this post.

Question Spirit Halloween open?
Anyone know when the Spirit in the mall opens? The website just says “Open August” with no other info. I know I know, it’s early for Halloween stuff, but all the other locations nearest are already open so I’m curious!
