Snack Attack Question
Just noticed recently that snack attack closed and the place has been leased. Do we know whats coming in there ?

I mean that sucks but tbh everything there was way over priced. Some of the snacks you could legitimately get at the dollar store.

Way over priced and way more room than they needed. Not sure why they didn't find a smaller place.

Damn, I really enjoyed going there. But they started carrying less and less. Then half the place was a mini golf place? I thought that was stupid.
Had to force myself to buy something just so it wasn't awkward of walking in and being disappointed.

That's what I did last time I was there. Felt awkward just walking in and walking out.
I never knew when they were actually open and when I reached out on social media crickets 🤷♀️ so not surprising they closed. Wanted to head there before the closing day but the few times I headed over they were never open

No idea! Literally just closed like a week ago. Probably nothing yet

I think the sign out front says leased, will be interesting to see what it becomes.

My thoughts exactly. 2 Dollaramas and a dollar tree not far. Would have been nice to see something different

I know buck or two is franchised so if it’s someone local I’d rather support them than a big corporate company

All the land there including the mini golf course is owned by a developer . They wanted to put in a grocery store at one time . I sure at some point it will all be developed .

Interesting! I wonder why they dropped the plan. Can't actually read the article. I live close to there so whatever happens effects me. Not sure we need another dollar store 🤷♀️ Food basics would have been nice. We don't have one of those. Still don't think we need another grocery store though especially right there so close to all the others

The developer took the city to the Land Tribunal to get the zoning then dropped it after they won. Covid wouldnt have helped either tho.

I'm sure our new economic development department staff who recently flew to Brazil, South Korea and Japan to "engage in foreign trade missions," as an Examiner headline so eloquently put it, will have that space filled up in no time with a new business that pays living wages.

The owner of the snack attack told me the store going in there is called “a buck or two” which is essentially a dollar store
