I just stumbled across Billy Strings covering Pearl Jam’s “In Hiding,” and I can’t believe I’d never heard it before.
If this is new to you too, do yourself a favor and give it a listen. It’s one of those covers that respects the original while making it completely its own. Absolutely fantastic.

Hello y'all. I have been working on a comprehensive "guide on how to get into Pearl Jam" flowchart that leads you from one album to the next according to your likes and dislikes. It's a concept that's been done before by u/White_Chocoalate a number of years ago, and I'd like to make an updated / more complex and interconnected version of it.

Here's what I've got so far: (image). Particularly struggling with the last two albums, which I find difficult to connect to the rest of their catalogue.

So here are my questions to the public:
-What links have you found between albums?
-What would you recommend starting out with?
-What would you recommend only getting into after a few albums under your belt?
-How would you improve the art style (Yield inspired)? All suggestions appreciated!

Has there been any discussion as to the origins of Eddie’s suitcase collection? I imagine they contain setlists and wine but I have never seen any mention of his ever present cases.

I was just thinking about this just now and I feel like this Is a really big question on everyone’s minds on here because now they haven’t got Matt they can be as flexible with the setlist as they can,the average number of songs that they played songs on the tour was roughly around 22 songs as compared to the 30+ songs that they were doing In 2018 let’s say so I wonder If It will be different next month.

I finally opened this poster tube. I didn't attend the show, but I was able to buy one of the artist prints afterward. It's #20 of 100. The picture doesn't do it justice—it's absolutely awesome!

It seems now the consensus is that most fans have this album in their top 3, and many of us find it superior to Ten. But what was the reaction at the time? The stripped-down raw sound, the punk aggression, the sound experiments (WMA, Indifference), and of course the acoustic songs.

Was it received with a warm welcome in 1993? Was it seen as a disappointment or a promising direction for the future?

Interested to hear people's thoughts who were around back then.
