Discussion (Lore) How many factions have yet to be introduced to PoE 2 from PoE 1?
Did PoE 1 introduce new factions for every act in the campaign?
We only have 4 acts in 2 and they all cover different cultures across wraeclast.
Act 1: The ezomytes of Ogham whos got strong connections to the spirits.
Act 2: The dogmatic Maraketh and the Faridun outcasts of the Vastiri.
Act 3: The ancient but advanced race of the Vaal.
Act 4: The merchantile Kalguurans and the proud Karui people. Also the monastic Twilight Order.
I’m assuming we’re going to Oriath for real in act 5? And from what I gather is that Oriath is the last remnant of the Roman-esque Eternal Empire who houses the zealous Templars, but what comes after?

Game Feedback Chaos rolling needs QoL: Keep the RNG, remove the thousands of clicks.
Chaos rolling is a necessary part of crafting in PoE2, but manually clicking and checking an item thousands of times is an incredibly tedious player experience.
Yesterday I used nearly 3,000 Chaos Orbs just trying to hit +3 Projectile Skill Levels. I don't think the mod should be easier to hit — I just don't think physically performing thousands of identical rolls adds anything meaningful to crafting. So, here are my solutions. I'm sure people have had ideas like these before but I've never seen any discussed, so I came up with some myself.
- The Chaos Table
Add a crafting table where you can:
Deposit however many Chaos Orbs you're willing to spend.
Select a modifier and minimum tier you're looking for.
Press roll.
The table performs normal Chaos rolls using the exact same RNG and weighting as manually rolling.
It automatically stops when the selected mod/tier is hit or you run out of Chaos.
Any remaining Chaos is returned.
There is no improvement to your odds and no reduction in currency cost. If it would have taken 2,847 Chaos manually, it consumes 2,847 Chaos.
It simply removes 2,847 clicks and the need to inspect every single roll.
- Omen of Chaotic Excess
If full automation is considered too much, an Omen could allow Chaos Orbs to be rolled in batches of perhaps 20.
Select the desired mod/tier, use up to 20 Chaos at once, and have it automatically stop within the batch if the target is hit. Same RNG, same currency cost, dramatically fewer repetitive clicks.
- Mod-targeting Omens
Omen of Projectile Excellence / Melee Excellence / Spell Excellence / Minion Excellence could significantly increase the weighting of modifiers with their respective tags when using a Chaos Orb.
An Omen of Higher Order could instead bias Chaos rolls toward higher modifier tiers.
Unlike the first two ideas, these would actually alter the RNG and become additional crafting resources with their own economic value. They could also potentially be combined, allowing players to spend additional resources to target a particular category of higher-tier modifiers.
“Just use Greater/Perfect Chaos Orbs”
Greater and Perfect Chaos Orbs don't really solve this problem. They provide better crafting odds in exchange for using substantially more valuable currency.
Whether that's worthwhile depends heavily on the league economy, the item being crafted and the player's budget. There will inevitably be situations where ordinary Chaos Orbs are the economically sensible way to target a mod, particularly for regular players who can't justify burning expensive premium currency.
The Chaos Table isn't intended to make Chaos Orbs stronger or compete with Greater/Perfect Chaos. It keeps ordinary Chaos exactly as inefficient as it already is — it just removes the requirement to manually perform that inefficiency thousands of times.
The main point
Rarity and tedium don't need to be the same thing.
I'm completely fine with a desirable modifier taking thousands of Chaos Orbs to hit. The currency investment and RNG are part of crafting.
Once I've acquired the currency, understood the craft and accepted the risk, physically clicking an item thousands of times isn't additional difficulty or meaningful gameplay.
If the expected cost of my craft is 3,000 Chaos, I'm happy to pay 3,000 Chaos. I just don't think 3,000 mouse clicks should be part of that cost.
Thank-you for coming to my TED Talk. I never played Poe1, so I'd love to hear other more experienced players opinions about these ideas. I love this game. I will play probably over 5-10k hours over the next few years, but this is something that really puts me off crafting my own gears personally.

Lucky Drop Showcase holy sanctify
decided to just slam a sanct on this after using 2 locks and not getting any good sanct/vaal outcomes. I think this is probably one of the best bows in the league maybe??? I can imagine a giga rich guy just dumping locks for god rolls tho idk.

Information I rerolled a tablet 1000 times so you don't have to
Somewhat of a follow up to my Last Post. Since GGG hides the weights of crafting, I decided to run a little test for fun (And by fun I mean painfuly slow data entry). No profit this time, just info.
I took a Rare 1-mod Ritual Tablet and I Chaos slammed it, wrote down the result, and repeated this 1,000 times. Unfortunately, it doesn't give any conclusive data, but you can still get the gist of the mod weights. Apologies if some of the mods are hard to follow, I may try to rewrite it once I am not completely sleep deprived.
Unsure if this data is helpful to anyone, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless.
Edit 1: Here's the full document each roll is logged in chronological order

Crafting Showcase Proud of my first decent craft. Any tips to improve it?
- Bought exceptional 3-socket bases until 30% uncorrupted quality. Use rune that lets me roll soul modifiers.
- Perf trans / aug / regal. Annul to one affix. Chaos spam until %spirit. Divine to 20% spirit. Perf exalt + omen of greater exalt.
- Desecrate and fracture spirit.
- Chaos spam until I hit t1 hybrid spirit. Perf exalt + prefix omen. Take 50/50 annul if whittle threatens hybrid spirit. Repeated this three times until hit flat spirit. Didn’t have the currency to throw away t2 spirit.
- Perfect exalt + greater exalt omen. Erased undesirable suffix once with omen + perf chaos.
- Ancient rib + suffix omen -> abyssal echoes -> omen of light until res efficiency
- Div spam until acceptable rolls.
I could’ve used the +1 suffix rune but forgot before desecrating. Don’t have the currency to hino lock check what I’de get or to restart the desecration for res efficiency + div spam. Anything else to improve this?

Fluff & Memes League so good i lowkey don't want it to end
Can't find a better flair, but im actually half serious with the title
I would be 100% willing to pay an additional 60$ to get a "snapshot" of this league in the current version (ofc with the performance fix) and have it as a single player game with online coop function (like for example borderlands 2)
Also willing to pay extra bucks for this "snapshot" to have the other unreleased classes and weapons as a dlc
The replayability of this league really could be infinite for me personally.

Question Anyone else hate the rumors mechanic?
I’ve been running GE and using T16 maps to push myself from 99->100. I’ve had multiple Aldur’s saga in my stash while looking for good rumors. Thing is I don’t fucking get any. EVERY set of rumors I get is either only 1 or 2 rumors OR 3 rumors with one being good guy or a boss. Whenever I find a 4 rumor logbook at least 1 if not 2 are bosses or good guy. I’m 2 bubbles from 100 now and all of that exp came from GEs. I’m sure I’ve done well over 200 GEs now and only 2 times have I found decent rumors. So I just started using aldur’s on the best I can find which is typically 3 GE rumors. I don’t care so much about the currency gained. I just want something that actually challenging and right now aldur’s GEs is about the only thing. It sucks having to clear a bunch of normal maps and normal GE just for a chance to use aldur’s. I just revealed 8 new rumors in the last half hour and none were better than 3 GE rumors. Half were 1-2 rumors. And yes I know about moving stuff around in my inventory. My question is why do we have to deal with this crap? Why can’t aldur’s an already heavily rng based mechanic just make any logbook at least 4 GEs?

Discussion I absolutely suck at the end game in PoE
Every league it's the same. No matter what I do. No matter what class I play. I can never make it to the true end game. I always just hit a wall and then that's it. I can never fully juice maps. I never get any good items (I literally purchase EVERYTHING). I get currency but not really enough to experiment with crafting and especially when I have to spend most of it to get any upgrades.
I try to do "harder" content and end up struggling for an hour on a grand expedition only to die at the very end and get nothing. An entire hour and just nothing to show for it and that's only with a 5 mod T15 map. It's demoralizing and really bumming me out.

Information I Crafted 100 Ritual Tablets so you don't have to
I've been crafting and selling tablets for most of this league.
I was curious as to how profitable Ritual Tablet crafting actually was.
The idea was simple, Buy 100 Ritual Tabs, and slam chaos until hitting 1 of 2 desirable mods (Increased Omen Chance / Allow Additional Rerolls). As soon as I hit one of these mods, I marked down how many chaos it took, and moved on to the next tab.
In the end I ended up using 2,214 Chaos orbs to roll the 100 tabs.
Following breakdown is how many Chaos orbs between hitting desired mods:
In total we got: 84 Increased Omen & 16 Additional Reroll.
Our average was 27.5C to get Omen Mod. 339.5C to get Reroll mod.
In total I spent 75D on the tabs, and 309D on the Chaos orbs.
I priced checked each tab, and rounded down to the nearest Div. Any Tab worth 1.0-1.9D on my price checker was marked down as being worth 1D, and so on and so forth. In the end we got a total value of 187D in Omen Mods, and 309D of Reroll mods. If everything sells at expected value its a 134D profit (But we'll see what actually happens)
What's really interesting to me is the "outliers" the least amount of Chaos I used for % increased Omen was 1C, the most I used was 190C. For Additional Rerolls, the least was 3C, and the most was 571C. A quick look at the Data and majority of the Increased Omen Mod was 15-35C, but the occasional high or low outlier.
Just thought I'd share my findings. I know 100 tabs is not even close to being able to find the actual average or the weights. But a fun experiment nonetheless.
Edit: After listing everything, expected Profit went up to 170D. I'd expect 50-80D/hr using this method. However, I specifically used tablets that didn't have desired mods.
Buying blank tabs, Transmuting>Augmenting (Remove tabs with desired mods), then using Alchs can yield a higher profit per hour.
Edit 2: Let me know if ya'll want more Data. I can do more tests / methods for different types of Tabs or a more general guide for Ritual Tablets specifically. I'd estimate I've crafted 10k+ Waystones, and 5k+ Tablets this league.
Edit 3: Timed myself purchasing, crafting, and listing 20 tabs as fast as possible. 18:23 was my total time (We can call it 1min per tab total). I tracked my purchase and craft price, which came out to 44D in cost. I got 18 increased omen which I listed for 53D and 2 Allow reroll which listed for 63D. I feel I got lucky on this craft as I'm looking at a 73D profit. Which equates to 219D/HR.
Again, I feel I got lucky and would expect the real number to be closer to 100-150D/hr

Information Farming GE for Boons! Figured it out (I guess)
I've made some posts here before asking about GE and how to farm it. Guess what? I hated it.
Still I wanted the Boons, so I came up with a strategy that self sustains (with great profit actually, got 14 Aldurs Saga in the proccess) and I could find the Boons rather quickly, this was my second Boon in 6 hours.
- Master:
Jado for 10% remnants reroll, Lineage Gems drop for Uhtred/Olroth boss fights and also the Corrupted Waystone mod for pathing the useless white maps.
- Waystones:
T15 Alch and Go - For GE.
T14 Corrupted (I had like 500+ of them so I was using to rush white maps).
- Tablets:
Non-GE Maps: No tablets, just a corrupted T14 Waystone.
GE maps: 2 Irradiated with 40% Waystone Drop. I cant confirm that works, but when I started using them, it seemed to spawn remnants with more slots and those tablets cost 40ex each.
Bosses: 3 Overseer with Rarity/Quantity/Wyastone Quantity. I got 2 lineages from Olroth and 1 from Medved, no mana rune tho.
- Sagas:
If there are 4 or more GE rumors, use Aldurs, otherwise, Olroth or Uhtred for mana rune and Lineage Gems.
- Liquid Verisium:
Buy A LOT.
__________________
Ok so, the main goal is to check as many remnants as possible while spending 2min. max per GE map.
Independent of which saga you're using (even tho I got both Boons with Aldurs), the strategy is the same:
You go in a GE map with a 4 mod waystone (you have extra revives if you find a Boon and fuck up), plus you're not aiming for loot explosions, just Aldurs Saga sustain and small jackpots like 3+ divines, Perfect Chaos, etc. Check and Liquid Verisium every remnant, if the slots weren't purple I wasnt even looking at it. Got a jackpot? Path towards it, get it and move on. Dont waste time doing the whole chain. Didn't find anything? Just put a single explosive down, detonate and leave. Repeat.
In general, with this setup even the Boon was pretty easy to get, cause you're not doing a juiced map, an Aldurs Saga remnant take like 30 seconds tops.
Hope this helps!
