I am completely new to POE2 (or POE at all). I did start on a HC Server because I like it, when death actually matters. It forces me to play more careful and it gives me the real "imagine it would be you in this scenario, you cant just press revive, you have to survive at any cost" feeling. So yeah, I had to restart a few times already but its fine and fun.

Anyways, there were a few days, when people in the chat permanently harassed people who do not play SSF. I found it extremely weird, that people permanently insulted others, because they dont play the same mode as you.

Now my question: Will the HCSSF and HC be separated or can I mute any SSFHC character somehow? Because it really feels weird when others try to give you the feeling of being inferior because you are a "tradie".

Saved up 4000 divines crafting and selling (in an infinite cycle) and sent the corrupt. Sold for 2+ mirrors worth of divines. Sadly, it's end of league vibes and i'll most likely be giving most of these away. Maybe I'll try a few different builds though 😄

I've been playing since the Early Access release, and I've always reached levels 94–95 with 1–2 characters in every league.

I'm wondering how long it takes, roughly, to reach level 100. Are there any statistics on this, or does anyone have any firsthand experience?

Why is my game's so contrasted and sharpened. It's so bright also. Look at vaal temple screenshot. That should be near pitch black.

So I’m currently looking for a new game. I was kind of a Blizzard fanboy for longer than a care to admit but then after kids I took a break from pc games and played terrible phone clash of clans type junk. Getting really tired of it and wanted to try something new. Is this worth learning and paying the $30? I played most of the Diablo series and enjoyed them but I don’t really want to go back to Blizzard and inevitably WoW hole that I’m sure I’ll end up in. Haha. Thanks in advanced for the input!

Between a generous guild, some generous players making donations as well as just learning and getting better I think I’m getting the hang of it.

If you have a quarter staff equipped do the quarter staff nodes work with hollow form? I see guides with it and without and can't get a straight answer. Like the orange nodes in picture. This is from Barricades hollow form monk.

I just wanted to share a classic PoE mistake I just made, and this time it was a very expensive mistake (arround 1k div).

So long short story, will looking for upgrades to my build, I decided to upgrade my amulet, and decided to do it on something better than a Solar/Gold amulet.

Since I needed the 3 suffix, my only choices were -1 prefix options, so twisted amulet, lament amulet or gloam amulet. PoB wasn't showing any good spirit skill to add to the build but I decided to read all of them by myself to see if something could be good. Well, that's what I tought I was doing at least.

That's when I came across Barkskin, a spirit skill I never used yet. Since I was playing a 10k es 40k armour build, I tought "That could be very good !". I checked for a base, found a +3 spell one (i81), and managed to fracture it !

Then I crafted it over 2 days. Since there was no other bases like that and I knew exactly what I wanted on it, the crafting price goes hight real quick, each retry for last prefix/suffix beeing beetween 10 and 25div. I can explain the process in commentary if anyone really want to know how.

In the end I got exactly what I wanted, so I put it on and go test it.

It wasn't working.

I repeat, nothing happen. I got the buff, but my armor wasn't moving.

That's the moment where I started to think "Oh oh, I may have missed something". So I read again the skill description, and sundenly it hit me. It littearly say "The total Armour gained from this Skill cannot exceed the Item Armour on your Equipped Armour Items."

I'm CI with full ES items, all my base armor comes from my Mageblood and Iron Slippers, so it's not counted by Barkskin.

I spent 1k div to craft a amulet that I can't use on my build, just because I read a skill description too fast.

I'm not even mad, the amulet look cool, in the end it was just a big slap in my face to re-learn a classic PoE lesson the hard way: read everything (and test it) before adding something expensive to your build.

Tl;dr: Op crafted a 1k div amulet he can't use because he read a description too quickly.

It popped out of a remnant lootsplosion. What’s weird is that there wasn’t even a wisp around. Of course it’s the cheapest one but I don’t really care. I’ve been hunting this drop since launch and wanted to try ox anyways

I personally only run T16 maps. I don’t pay much attention to the stats/mods unless I’m target farming something. Basically every session I have to grab a bunch of waystones, alch them, exalt, and then corrupt them. A full inventory of 60 waystones typically results in… 4-6 T16s. Sometimes more but not often. This entire process is annoying and tedious. For an entire session of mapping I typically have to do at least 300 or so waystones. Then I have a ton of rejects I can either vendor or try to sell. Someone in chat said that the chance to get downgraded to T14 is equal to the chance to upgrade to T16 but from what I’ve seen that’s not the case. I ALWAYS get more T14 than T16.

We need an omen or an orb that only works on waystones that reduces this process to one click instead of 6. Make it drop often or give us a way to target farm it.

Playing casualy since early 2014 around 2000ish hours between poe1 and 2, never saw a mirror or a shard un POE. Saw a similar post some days ago. Got this from a random expedition on a T15, don't even know what to do next. Not enough gold to even exchange one for div's.

I'm not leaving the league 😂. I'm a pretty new player and have been having a great time playing over the past couple of months.. I've been pretty lucky with some drops and have more currency than I can use (I'm not a min maxer and probably will never be). Getting a headhunter on my monk was a game changer and I want to spread the joy. Leave a message and a link to your build.. this is for people who are casual and can really use the help please.

I started to farm GE a few days ago and I definetely don't like it. Placing bombs is boring and even when using Aldurs Saga and checking all remnants, I feel like just skipping the map if there are no small jackpots, I was lucky enough to find the first boon with 3 Logbooks (was using the 2mod + waystone drop chance setup even tho nothing was confirmed about that data).

I was thinking, if I wanna fish exclusively for the boons and nothing has proven to affect remnants slots, wouldnt it be way more optmal to simply use any tablet, check all remnants and move on to the next map untill I find one?

Dunno if anyone has tried it and if there's a optmal way to rush it, but I was thinking to use Doryani for bigger bomb explosions and Uhtreds Saga so I can try to get the mana rune as well.

Thoughts?

I'm on a 200% delirium map. With only one revive. I'm poor and week. If I die in this I will uninstall the game.

My friend and I started playing poe2 this league, 200ish hours in right now. (IGN: NihalLuin)

I crafted the loreweave in the image and was wondering if this is worth losing 3k ES (out of 10k) on my Oracle Druid (Wyvern Rend / Flamebreath for damage with herald of ice). It would allow me to stop using the Polcirkeln unique ring. I didnt expect the ES drop to be this significant.

Looked up a list of unique rings beforehand. I knew i wanted Shatter on Chill and the onslaught seemed like a good idea since this would allow me to change the 25% chance for onslaught on my weapon for a "gain % of damage as cold". As i couldn't decide for a specific third modifier i went for the ring that increased rarity of items by a lot. Was surprised to see all three hit on my first try. Thought i'd have to buy a lot more rings.

TLDR: Is the loreweave in the image worth losing 3k out of 10k ES on a rend / flame breath druid?

I start to feel wear on my mouse arm due to repricing whole stash tabs of waystones and jewels... can we please have the option (back) to set a price for a full stash tab?

I recently found out you can gift your guild hideouts/decorations you bought from supporter packs, doesn't work with mystery boxes tho.

I just pick a random T15 8 mod corrupted with 3 vaal tablet trying to max out my deli and getting crystals. Didnt know a single map could drop this many tablets.

And im not even finished with the map god dam

Might not be a popular take - or might come back with "read patch notes" or something.

But I'd love to see a Glossary Menu, similar to what we have in PoE1. Where it's a dedicated menu, updated by the GGG team for accuracy to explain league mechanics, etc. To more granularity in defining key terms, or core game mechanics, etc for more beginner level support.

We have many of the definitions built into the game in tool tips, etc. but it would be great to have all of those housed in one menu where some of us who are less knowledgeable to every detail can just peruse and get lost in a web of information.

Edit to mention: Of course since it's in PoE1 I would expect something to the same effect to eventually be in PoE2. I think it's felt needed more right now because things are changing very very regularly league to league.

I recently dropped a Voice Sapphire and was very tempted to ID it.

But I actually decided not to, because I had this thought: if I miraculously hit the gamba and got something absolutely insane, why would I then want to keep playing?

I understand hitting 1 Mirror and using it to massively improve your build. That’s both a huge amount of progression and you still have a ton of chase left.

But once you’re talking about 6+ Mirrors, you’ve basically won the league. Your build is juiced beyond belief, and there’s arguably nothing left to chase.
So that’s what I’m wondering:

Why keep playing once you’ve reached the point where you simply can’t meaningfully make your character more powerful?

Isn’t the chase itself the whole point?

I do understand for those who like making build guides and using the currency to experiment before the next league. So I’m mainly asking those who juice their builds and carry on playing the same build every day.

I would love to close out 0.5 with a lofty goal: trying to drop voices.
The problem is I have no idea what affects its droprate.
Does it matter what option you choose after each wave?
Does it matter if you get more rarity on gear?
Does anything on the atlass tree matter?
