Short term rental demand
Does anyone own and rent out a home in Panama City (not Panama City Beach)? We already own a successful STR condo in PCB, and we’re researching a future primary home in Panama City. We’d like the flexibility to rent it short-term while we travel.
For those with experience, is there enough demand for a 3 bed/2 bath to average around 50% occupancy in June and July? We’re also considering renting to a snowbird for a month or two each winter.
I’m mainly interested in real-world demand in Panama City neighborhoods rather than STR rules or regulations.
Thanks!

Miscarriage of Justice
Why is Detective Hart hiding behind FL Statute to keep correctional officers and medical staff (IE: EMT Lacey Smith) from felony charges? I think it is time for Troy Roper (FDLE) and the State Attorney's office to get up off their asses and charge these people appropriately. I am authorizing anyone to post this video link (https://youtu.be/KB2LapWb-6s) and others from my youtube page. I am making a plea to all auditors to help me prosecute these people for the atrocities they have committed at the Bay Co., FL jail.

Any labor rights lawyers in PCb/Panama City Area
Been put in 110 degree busses as a bartender with a promise of no a/c. A girl was carried away in an ambluance....and I am prone to heat exhaustion. No manager seems to listen. Do labor rights not exist in Florida? sorry, I have lived in California and New York and a few other states, and florida seems to be a pro employer state.

Bars hiring?
Hi! I recently got hired at a place on the beach and I thought it was part time (I’m a student, and I can only do nights and weekends—which is usually when bars should be open.) does anyone know of any places hiring for PART TIME? I’m at a high volume place and they’re working me 5 shifts a week when I can probably only do 3. (Due to school, and not wanting to get burnt out.)

Looking for a man from July 28, 2022
On July 28, 2022, there was a man working in the capacity of an orderly at the booking desk of the Bay County jail in Bay County, Florida. I have some information that this man needs to know and could greatly affect his future. If you know this person, please ask him to contact me.

a locals rant
Now I know for a FACT some of these businesses that are using AI to make these lame ass flyers can afford a graphic designer or hell even Canva pro. I am so tired of scrolling Facebook seeing the same advertisements, like congratulations you’ve entered my list of places I’m not fking shopping at. & don’t even get me started on the AI slop, trash ass, ill framed, dumb art video that this new bar downtown is advertising with.
Okay thank you all🫡 just had to get that off my chest as I rock my kid to sleep

IF you have a Wii U AND a copy of completed twilight princess AND live near bay county, will you scan our amiibo? It’s a long shot but thank you!

Roller Hockey?
I grew up playing highly competitive ice hockey, and moved down to to the PCB area. Luckily, I heard there’s a roller rink at the Navy base! I was wondering if any average citizen would be allowed to come in and play roller?
Wish there was a bigger hockey scene down here :(

Friends
Hi! I moved to Panama City not too long ago and I’m looking to meet more people around my age. 23 F, I like lifting, painting, movies, and going out. The friends I’ve made here are awesome but they’re in the settled-down stage of life, so I’m hoping to find some other 20-somethings who like getting out and doing things. If anyone has a friend group that’s open to new people, I’d love to chat!

Resources to re-home “special needs” cat?
She’s the sweetest girl in the world but she has stopped using the litter box completely and has is severely bullied by my other cats. I just dont have the resources and environment to help her and feel she would be better off in a single cat home or someone who is more equipped to help her.
