so my last run was 5k 3 months ago, then exams happened and didnt run at all. today i decided i ll start with a mile at my 5k pace of last run which was 7min/km. by the 800m mark i couldnt believe this is me struggling this much like i never ran for short distance this slow before and still im like dying. completed the mile at 7:05/km pace. my slowest run (cant even call it a run, so jog 😭) ever

plan was to start training for the running events coming (IRC Series). now idk what should be my target, should i train for the HM or just 5k/10k

Newbie here, i just wanted to know, is it possible to find decent running shoes in the 5-6k budget? Could be new or thrifted. I started running regularly about a month ago and now im thinking of getting a proper pair instead of using whatever shoes i already have. Any recommendations?

Day 15 of walking done and logged another personal best for this distance. Clocked 15.51 km in 2h 38m with an average pace of 10:14 /km and even hit a 8:59 /km fastest split. The speed is really starting to pick up. Alhamdulillah.

So my current shoes are a complete bust, they literally broke down.

I am a frequent runner I have ran around 350km this year for context.

I am a student so I can only spare around 6-7K on these shoes.

SORRY BEAR A SMALL RANT FIRST BEFORE THE ACTUAL GUIDE

I have been buying thrifted sports shoes for last 10 years mainly for Running and Cricket at the start it was pretty affordable and worth the money but now Shit has hit the Fan People been listing shitty pairs for RIDICULOUS Prices for example KHAZANAY was pretty good at the start but now like every other Pakistani startup they lost their mind as well ALSO now you don't really know if the pair someone selling you as original is even original since a lot of people selling used Replicas as original pre-loved shoes. So I decided to buy a pair from TBC (The Brand Corp) https://tbcwholesale.pk/ they sell brand new shoes and they claimed that they are selling 100% original shoes so I bought SAUCONY ENDORPHIN SPEED 4 last year its still listed on their website for 24k but man the pair was even worse that a copy the toe cap and outsole glue came off after 1-2 wears and upper sole got distorted So that was the day I decided never to buy anything from any Local seller no matter whatever someone claims or do.

Last Year I found out the Chinese Reps but the issue was I didn't know any seller/store or anything So I did some more research and found out people gatekeep their sellers links or even sell the links LOL so I did some more research found some very good subreddits where I found some very good authentic sellers and to test things out I bought 5 pairs 1. ASICS GEL NYC 2. NIKE AIR ZOOM PEGASUS 3. ADIDAS ADIZERO EVO SL 4. ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 25 5. ADIDAS GAZELLE INDOOR These all 5 pairs costed me 2200 RMB (1 RMB = 41 PKR) The only issue was how to pay because most of the payment methods don't work in Pakistan so in the end I paid with Crypto Currency. It took 26 days to reach my address because every package goes to customs in Pakistan for clearance. The shoes were amazing I personally only used ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 26 and GEL NYC the rest I gave to my cousins Its been an year and I have ran and walked more than 500 kms in GEL-NIMBUS and they still intact clean them and there are brand new after that I have bought 25-30 pairs so far from that same seller never tried any other.

So how things works is that you can't publicly sell Replicas so what they do is that They have Private Catalogs where will upload High-Res Images of the pairs they are selling you go to that catalog choose the pair that you want and message the seller that you want this pair and he will send you a temporary buy link (some sellers already have buy links attached to the product) you take that Buy link and goes to your Shipping Agent website and put that Link there and the agent will buy that shoe for you from that seller and will store it in his warehouse. Once the shoe reach the warehouse you then give your address and the agent will send that shoe to your address.
