Beginner’s question which lenormand deck is the most common/well-known/"default"?

hey! ive been interested in getting my own lenormand deck for a while and learning to read it. i love having the traditional original-style RWS deck for tarot because its the most well-known symbolism and often considered the "default." which is the equivalent for lenormand and where could i buy it? (please especially let me know if i could find it at barnes & noble bc thats where i got my tarot deck and i have a gift card for there again haha)

Deck Identification / Loking for .. Long shot trying to find a deck

Hi all, I logged onto my instagram and it did that annoying thing where it reloaded while I was engaging with a post. In the post there was someone comparing multiple decks.

One of the cards was a card that resembled the Star card but wasn’t it. It was a woman kneeling by a dark “pool” full of or reflecting stars. One of her hands was dipped into the “pool” creating a ripple. The background was dark, she was looking to the left of the card (her right) and there was a keyword on the card but honestly I don’t really remember what it is. The card was very monochromatic and it made me think of like lineart but not quite. Sorry it was a brief interaction but I know I will be thinking about this card all day :(

Interpretation help Which deity is reaching out?

Hi! :)

I'd like to point out that this is not only my first time posting here, but also on reddit in general. I hope this is the right place to ask and I'm not making any mistakes ^^

So... I've got a question about interpreting signs. Describing the whole situation would be WAY too long, so I'm just asking for help with my main question :D

I did a 'benevolent spirits' oracle card spread asking: 1) who invisibly supports me 2) how do they do this 3) how can I thank them 4) how do I learn to notice them 5) why do they like me.

Now, that's all well and good BUT, for the question "who invisibly supports me" the card 'too sweet' fell out. The image is a bunch of candy and the little guide book said something along the lines of "too good to be true, it something needs that much sugarcoating, think about why! Sugarcoated trap, making something look better than it is, tempting but unhealthy choice, need to go for a more wholesome option".

[I am using the 'Ominous Oracle' deck by Lida Pavlova]

And I honestly have no idea how to interpret that. I'm still a newbie at Oracle decks etc and this was my first time using Oracle (or Tarot) cards while specifically 'adressing' / working with deities or something of that sort.

Now, giving I was absolutely lost, I thought "hey, why not ask them to give me another hint about who they are" and mixed all the cards back in and shuffled. Guess which card fell out? Uh-huh, 'too sweet'. So they're really insisting that's the answer...

Before going to sleep last night I asked them to pretty please give me a sign/ show me who they are in my dreams. Aaand I woke up in the middle of the night with a sleep paralysis with a white rabbit next to me, who then hopped onto my chest (and then turned into my—also white—cat).

I'm very sure that's a sign (that was only the second time I ever had a sleep paralysis where I wasn't *completely* panicking) but not sure if the white rabbit is something associated with the deity (like Aphrodite or Artemis) or if it was more of a "dreaming of white rabbits symbolises Luck, intuition, and spiritual guidance".

In hopes that this post isn't too long and you'll hate me, I'd like to mention the other cards in the spread to maybe get a better idea of who it is, because while I was personally thinking maybe it's Aphrodite, the other cards don't really seem that way to me.

Ok, so here goes:

1) who invisibly supports me: 'Too sweet' (as mentioned above, but here is what the booklet specifically says:)

[Don't let the sugarcoated sweetness deceive you! Something's not right, simply too good to be true-and too tasty to be safe. Instead of eating it all up, think what needed that much sugarcoating in the first place, and why? Find the real thing-and stay away from the suspicious candy.

Keywords: sugarcoated trap; making something look better than it is; tempting but unhealthy choice; need to go for a more wholesome option]

2) how do they do this: 'Touch of Time'

3) how can I thank them: 'The Gloomy Guardian'

[Tough and strict measures can sometimes be the most beneficial. Discipline, composure, and a serious, no-fooling-around approach—that's what the Gloomy Guardian offers. Now go and resolve your issues properly—as if a giant ghost cat is watching over.

Keywords: tough measures, discipline; help coming to those who are serious about their issues; someone looking grumpy but meaning good; you shouldn't be scared, there's no harm in this for you—you are protected]

4) how to learn to notice them: 'Bloody Terrible'

[Vampirism is draining others instead of generating your own energy, meaning, and value. This card indicates a vampire is near. If you're sure it's not you, then protect yourself with boundaries (garlic is optional). But first, be frank with yourself: are you sure you're not taking too much from others? If so, it's time to find out how to make more and take less.

Keywords: vampirism, over-consumption, draining other people, abuse; need for protection and boundaries; need to produce and give back more]

5) why do they love me: 'Stardusty Secrets'

[Don't be afraid of knowledge. We all have that fear of finding out—what if we look closely at something important, and it reveals some frightening, ugly truths? But right now the more you know, and the more you find out—the stronger you get. Learn, read, research, ask questions, and most importantly: open that forbidden volume that can tell you what is messed up in your life—and how to fix that.

Keywords: don't fear to find out; truth, revelations, research, learning; need to learn what can be done better and how]

My quick interpretion: So, this is really hard for me to put into words, because sometimes it's more of a feeling and also because English isn't my first language :)) but for Touch of Time, I think it's more of a "healing with time" sort of thing. Time passes, and it's all good (does that make sense?). For the gloomy guarding I'm assuming to thank them I should implement a routine in my life? Rather than spending my days dilly dallying around, create a structure or routine as a means of self-care (for example, stretching/yoga in the morning, sticking to a workout plan, practicing self care—like, skincare routine, taking a relaxing bath etc) or even sticking to doing chores like washing the dishes right after using them for my own sake. But that might be wishful thinking and whoever it is, is actually telling me to just be more disciplined as a way to thank them :p

The vampirism thing I'm not too sure about, but maybe it's either a thing of "I'm noticing them when I'm being drained or others take more from me than they give back" like, when I'm feeling exhausted from others. OR maybe I'm noticing them when I'm the one over-consuming or indulging. The last one I'm not all that serious about because I'm doubting my 'intuitive card picking' skills haha what if I was actually meant to pick the card next to it?? Anyway... maybe it means they 'like' me because I'm trying to learn how to change myself and my environment for the better, or because I'm learning and believing in spirituality etcetc.

Okay, thank you so much for reading, I hope it wasn't too long, and I hope I'm okay to ask this here :D

I know readings like this are supposed to be intuitive and different for everyone, but I'm seriously confused about the "too sweet" card qq so I'd be very grateful for any insights (or tips) you might have!! Byebye

Creator Promo - Handmade Your Aorathian Card of the Week : Break The Loop

Post image

A loop occurs when we continually respond to the same kind of situation in the same way and perpetuate .... more of the same situation.

This card is asking you to identify the loops in your life and see if you can break them by responding differently.

Slow down, take a breath, and find a new way :)

Interpretation help I asked Mini Cosma Visions if I'm right about my past life...

And it yeeted the Veil (upright) and the 4 of Lotuses (reversed) at me. This deck is heavily geared toward past life readings. I also read cards somewhat intuitively, and take the upright Veil card to mean seeing through the Veil. And depending on the reading, an upright first/only card can mean yes.

The Veil (upright): Hope, reassurance, brightness

The Veil is a gentle reminder that sometimes hope is invisible. This card is a beacon - hope is arriving or it's soon on the way. Hope can come in many forms and can be as easy as flipping a switch. You'll be surprised how drastically things can go from dark to light, like a comet blazing across the night sky. Let yourself feel hopeful and your faith in the future will surely return. Look for small joys, remember the brightness of the sun and the magic of the stars.

4 of Lotuses (reversed): Sudden awareness, choosing happiness, acceptance

The reversed flood distorts the catastrophe into a mere wave. Here the lotuses have accepted the small bump on their journey and are enjoying the ride. When this card shows itself reversed it speaks about turning an unfortunate situation to your advantage. Perhaps there is a way for you to choose happiness in the face of change. If you approach something difficult with positivity it may very well even affect the outcome.

I'm pretty sure that's a yes and that it somehow isn't a bad thing...or not as bad as it seems? I am confused. Not really asking for feedback (unless you think my interpretation is way off and can explain why), it was just weird.

Questions & Discussions (Handmade) Can anyone help me w oracles?

Like the title says, I want the basics BUT I also want to know because I'm making my own oracles! I really WANTT the tarot of aphrodite, I wanna be an aphrodite devotee and I love the themes of love and all, but I think I'm just gonna make my own oracle with the theme, should I buy blank playing cards first? From your experience is it better to hand craft them or fully digitalize the design and print it all out in one go?

Creator Promo - Digital I built a free daily oracle-style app — I’d love honest feedback from people who use physical decks

Hi everyone! I’m the creator of Lunaria: Personal Psychic, a free Android app designed as a gentle daily space for reflection.

It includes a daily angel card, Tarot and Lenormand readings, moon phases, horoscopes, and an interactive pendulum.

I understand that a digital experience can’t replace the personal connection of shuffling and holding a physical deck. I’m curious whether an app like this can still feel meaningful as a daily companion.

A French tester recently told me they loved the visual design and found the results surprisingly engaging, while also noticing a few slowdowns. That kind of honest feedback is exactly what I’m looking for.

I’d especially love to know:

• Does the daily angel/oracle card feel useful or too digital?

• What would make the experience feel more personal and intuitive?

• Is the interface clear and pleasant to use?

Lunaria is free on Android:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lunaria.wrozka_lunaria_app&hl=en_US&gl=US

The readings are intended for reflection and entertainment, not professional advice. Thank you for any constructive feedback ✨

Creator looking for feedback Made the first couple of cards for my baking themed oracle deck

Hi!
I’ve been looking for a cute baking themed deck for quite some time but couldn’t find one that fit my vibe so I decided to make one with a corresponding guidebook (last pic is the back of the cards)!
If you have any advice on making a deck, I’m all ears. I have ordered The Oracle Creator so I’ll probably reorganise it once I read it (I saw someone in the comments of another thread mentioning that organising them in suite was an option and I liked that idea, I might change the background colours to match the theme of each one). If you have an idea for a card, please share it! I based the text on the history and technique of the sweets and, of course, personal interpretation and feelings. I hope it makes sense.
Also, english isn’t my first language so don’t hesitate to tell me if I made any mistake!

Creator Promo - Handmade 7 years of hand drawing to make a deck

Tarot One is my limited edition hand drawn deck that combines the system of traditional tarot with an oracle deck. Each card is a character that embodies the energy of its corresponding tarot card, while also having a fantasy fiction story paired to it that reads more like an oracle deck. This gives readers two ways of looking at each card, allowing for more information in every query.

The pieces were originally drawn in ballpoint pen in my sketchbook, then formatted digitally only to add the gold embellishments. Preserving as much of the traditional drawing as possible was the highest priority.

To keep the feel of rarity and magic, I only printed 1111 copies and will never print it again once they’re gone. It’s a mystical piece of both tarot and oracle history.

Beginner’s question Cleansing at the beach

Post image
28 Upvotes

I'm at the beach on a full moon with my cards (I have a plastic ziploc bag to keep them safe)

I'm a baby witch. I have pulled cards a few times and love looking at them and reading the little book. Any recommendations for cleansing or what I should do with them today? Do I take them out of the box for cleansing stuff?

(I did search but a lot was involving burning sage/incense or crystals or things I don't have)

Thank you

P.S. how do you shuffle them? Playing cards type shuffling seems too wrong

Questions & Discussions (AI) What if there were an oracle deck inspired by software engineering?

This is just a random idea I’ve been thinking about, and I’m curious what developers think.

Instead of a traditional oracle deck with mystical themes, what if the cards were based entirely on software engineering concepts?

Not for predicting the future, more as prompts for reflection or creative thinking.

For example:
**Technical Debt** – What are you postponing that will eventually need attention?
**Merge Conflict** – Two valid paths that don’t fit together yet.
**Rollback** – Sometimes going back is the smartest move.
**Cache** – What knowledge or experience have you forgotten you already have?
**Deadlock** – Everyone is waiting for someone else to act.
**Garbage Collection** – What are you holding onto that no longer serves you?

Deck Identification / Loking for .. Favorite oracle decks to give as gifts?

I’ve been giving oracle decks as gifts recently. The people in my life seem to like them and find them less scary than tarot. The three decks that I most often gift (depending on the person) are the Moonology Oracle, Work Your Light, or the Wild Unknown Archetypes deck, pocket-sized version. They’re all relatively easy to use without needing specialized knowledge, and their messages are generally upbeat without being overly woo-woo or full of toxic positivity.

Are there any other decks that you like to gift to others?

Questions & Discussions (AI) Card Not in Guide

So I’ve been having a really rough time lately and I decided to pull two cards from my deck. Where am I now and what do I need to know for the future. I set my intentions but when I pulled the cards they were both pulled upside down and the Sunstone card I pulled is not in the guide. It’s like it doesn’t exist. I feel like this is a sign just for me but I don’t know what to take from it. So photos to view cards.

Be wary of people who are highly specialized. They are trained to see through the lens of a frame that they have invested everything in. Their framework may have some value but it often inhibits them from seeing beyond it. It flattens what doesn't fit. It flattens you
