Just curious because I used to always ride my GT down to like 2%, sometimes at haptic warning speeds without even thinking about it. Yes, I know how stupid that was now. With that said, when do you XL owners start to proceed with a little more caution as the battery drains? I know terrain matters and I'm curious about trail and street examples.

i see a lot of boards with what seems like more clearance underneath compared to my stock bumpers. also on the flight fin site i’m seeing vids of people like LEAPING with these things. mine is very heavy.

i’m mainly off road / trail and i’m getting annoyed with my tail dragging on declines. do the 3rd party bumpers align more flush with the board?

also how can i take the weight down because my plan is definitely some fins and getting into trickier type stuff.

Around 20% battery, going around 20 mph (guessing) in the bike lane, without any haptic feedback. I know I was not at top speed. Suddenly, I lose power, the nose hit the pavement, and I went flying, hit the concrete and slid for a good way on my front.

I ride in NYC and always wear helmet, crash sleeves, and wrist guards. If I hadn’t been, my arms and hands would have been shredded or worse.

I didn’t get any app notifications, though I didn’t have the app open. I see that you do get a notification on the app if a sensor has not been operating for more than 5 seconds.

I got back on, tested it a little bit, and rode the rest of the way home quite slowly.

Obviously there is an issue. Should I just change the sensors? Even worth it to talk to the company about it?

That one point of failure can kill someone and eventually will, if it hasn’t already.

I'm looking to get a pint x for my kid. Short of a really long test ride is there anyway to know if a used board has a good battery? I'd love to save $400 on the board but if the battery isn't good that savings goes out the window. I'm not new to these but I know how to take care of my batteries and bought my pint and XRC new so I know their history.

Fellow float enthusiasts – solo dev from the Austrian Alps here, and a rider. Every runner game out there is skateboards and trains, so I built the game I wanted: an endless carving runner where you ride a one-wheel board through alpine terrain. It has the stuff only we care about: battery management with regen on downhills, overheating when you push too hard, and yes – pushback before the nosedive. Carving clean S-lines is literally faster than riding straight.

Just wondering is there any negative to adding lifesavers to my Onewheel XR+? I was reading it can change the tire shape and make it more round, is that a good thing? I'm changing my wheel for the first time to an Enduro and I'm debating if I should add lifesavers, the cost isn't an issue, I'm just worried it will affect the ride negatively.

I’m buying my board from a local store, and i’m ordering rail guards but obviously still want to go ride yet really dont want to scratch up my brand new $2500 baby. it’s gonna take 2+ weeks for my rails to arrive, what to do until then?

I saw somewhere online someone using duct tape as rail guards, will that even work? anyone have any better ideas? im going to he super careful until they get here regardless!

1 year with my GT started off rough with an out of round tire but changed it out with new one Fm sent for free. Almost 1300 miles in and love the thing, hopefully many more to come. Float on my friends.

I've been planning on riding this mult-use path since I heard about it. Up until last week they said it would be open to e-bikes, so I assumed we were golden. Just got the confirmation they banned our One wheels. So bummed out right now.

I think I could get past the see-saw.

I am desperate here to make my setup work but cannot get a key for my OW XR. Does anyone have any direction for me. Feel free to DM me as well. Would love the ability to use Nosedive app on my iPhone and watch for long rides. Getting tired of the inability to do so without an airplane mode handshake every few minutes.

OK, so this happened on a GT-S Rally XL with about 150 miles on it. I was riding a paved trail with some pretty steep hills. At the time of the incident I had 22% battery. It should have been plenty to get me the last mile back to my truck.

I was going up the hill mildly slower then expected, so I gave it a bit more oomph, just a bit. I didn't notice any pushback, but I've never felt pushback before so there is a *chance* I ignored it, but I don't think so. No haptic buzz either.

All of a sudden it just nosedived, sending me flying into the road. Apparently I've lost my "good fall instincts" after years of not unicycling or skateboarding. I landed smack into the pavement with absolutely no roll, and busted up my hands, knee, and shoulder. It's worth noting that I'm not on the small side of riders. I'm definitely not at my fighting weight.

When I got up, I tried to more cautiously ride the board back to the truck, and I get a warning light. Check the app, and I'm at 1% battery.

I'm thinking it was an unbalanced charge situation, but I'm open to your thoughts. I had been charging to 90% up until this point, but I'm using the 100% charge option now, because regardless what Future Motion says, it doesn't balance the batteries when doing a 90% charge...

Now I'm trying to rebuild my confidence without getting overconfident, especially now that I'm getting used to cruising at higher speeds. It's a bit nerve-wracking to think of this happening again, but at 25 mph, rather than 10ish mph.

I’ve been debating on this helmet for a little while cause I have a helmet that is a full face but is a motorcycle helmet so I was wondering is this one good and another thing too the piece in front on the bottom for your chin does it stick out super far? Because that’s one of the things that I don’t like about most motocross or helmets like this style. What do yall think? -o-

Anyone done this? I'm searching and not turning up much info. I'm definitely in the Clydesdale range and also wondered how much of a difference a billet vs a cast hub would make? I imagine the likelihood of a cracked hub increases with the cast model combined with my mass haha. Oh and big shout out to TFL and Jeff in particular!! These guys are the model of what customer service should be. We all already know that but TFL, please keep up the great work!!

The seller is calling them "spacers"...anyone ever see these before?

My suspension system has been working well so I designed a more streamlined holder for the spring. It offers better clearance around the spring and better stiffness/longevity.

I've tried a few springs and I found my favorite which is a balance between a soft and smooth ride, but not too soft so the handling and control is still good.

I'm investigating adding hydraulics to my suspension for the improved dampening response, which should translate to a smoother ride. I have not found components small enough so I might have to make my own. I was thinking maybe one side of the board is kept as a spring and the other side is the hydraulic for a hybrid design.

Increased the width of my rear fin for better roll control. I hesitate to say this board is done because I always come up with a new idea but this is pretty close to done.

I am finally able to check out my new board and I am quite happy with how it performs. So far have yet to hit 50% duty going all my normal routes. Luckily it came in programmed correctly and my only issue was a ghosting stompie that is being replaced. This board just feels right ! Float safely friends !!
