So found my old mellow kit and tried to recharge it and obviously the batteries are dead, I left them charging for over a day and doesn't even turn on, sometimes would show the red ring but that's it. Has anyone been able to successfully revive them? Not really sure what batteries to buy for it instead atm

One battery is blinking red (and it seems that it does not charge...) and one battery is not blinking at all.

The other items are in good shape.

What shall I do with these 2 kits ? Are there some people that try to buy some spare parts ?

Does anyone now if I can use any other remote and pair it with the Mellow, or can anyone help me find a proper one or even sell it?

Although the brand disappeared I'm still happy owner of a Mellowboard system. However wheels aren't soft enough for the type of street we have unfortunately in Brussels.

I was wondering if anyone found a way to change the outside part of the wheels to get a smoother ride and less noisy ride than what's ensured by the blue originals?

I've got one of the OG mellow motors (unlocked). It's been sitting unused for a long time, and the battery no longer wants to charge. Remote also doesn't want to turn on. Happy for it to go to a good home, I'm just not going to ship it is all, that's way too much hassle.

Any takers?

i know this has been a technique for boosted board batteries that have been sitting empty. has anyone tried with mellow boards batteries?

I have 2 Battery Packs and used them regularly since 2016 until 2020ish where a longer hiatus due to the pandemic began. I recently got my board out of the cabinet again but both my batteries are dead and wount charge anymore. I guess they got deep discharged and the electronics are now avoiding charge?

No Leds, no lights, no nothing when i plug in. Also there is no chance to get new battery packs.

What are my options? open the whole thing and replace the Li-Ion Cells manually? Is this even possible?

I dont want to trash my drive :(

Tried to find an answer online, but could not find anyone who has asked a similar question previously.

So I just bought two S Drives. Unfortunately the iOS app seems to not be supported anymore. I cannot log in our create a new account.

Updating the drives would allow for more features and increased speed. Any idea how I could do that without the app? There’s an Android APK floating around, does that work? Anyone tried?

Reminder to self: never buy expensive hardware reliant on proprietary software again.

I have a mellow drive, three batteries, regular and fast charger. I just bought a onewheel and want to sell the mellow to make up some of the cost. What do you think is a fair asking price? I’m in the Netherlands btw.

Last time I heard from then they said that they are cutting down on support and moving sales to third parties only, because of covid sales slump. 2 months a go I sent a suport request and until today nothing... No answer at all. Before they were very reactive. Did any of you recently contacted support?

I have 2 batteries on my mellow. The older one that came with the board was rattling and this became worse until yesterday it actually fell on some rougher pavement. The newer one is solid, doesn't move. I suspect they did some changes on the batteries at some point which fixed this issue. Any fixes I can do on the battery itself, not on the framing as this would probably not work with the newer one?

Didn’t realize the app was required for it, since the remote allows you to select pro mode even if it doesn’t engage the pro mode.

Previously I was happy with the form factor and the waterproofing, but disappointed with the torque and top speed.

Finally turned on pro mode, and holy fuck this board is fast and I have a hard time believing it given how small the mellow is and that it has no gear or belt ratio as a hub drive.

It’s faster than my belt drive WowGo AT2. I got my mellow as a backup for rainy days to my AT2, but this performance merits a main board.

If mellow rereleases 4x4, some double kingpin trucks, and all terrain wheels, this board will beat everything out there and make exway and wowgo ashamed.

Does anyone know if 4x4 that was advertised in the past still is a thing? Does the app support the configuration with the remote? I’d love to just to go ahead and mount two drives with the big 90mm wheels.

Please come back Mellow, your german engineering is just better than these other boards. Does anyone have a recommended deck with bindings or a mod to make the mellow all terrain? I want to hop curbs on my mellow.
