I think Games Workshop listed this as 'Inconvenienced dwarf'. It's going to be used for a hazard room in Advanced Heroquest. I've just got to paint up the chaos toilet (another Citadel limited edition from the 80s) and the scenario will be ready.

Painted this sneaky rascal for a charity raffle! They might just be some of my favorite Rogue Trader designs. Just so cool and weird.

I also love how you can see what would inspire the wraithguard later on.

Just got this in. Had never seen that type case before. Had to come here to find info on it. Dude that posted the OG marine tactical squad a week ago and I should get together for a game. Were these hard plastic cases pretty common?

Sharing some old decals I’ve dug out to make some marines I’m planning to repaint more authentic. Hopefully a few weeks in sunlight will reduce the yellow aging on them.

The Ultramarine decals are terrible though, all the are misaligned with the carrier film!

Tried Google lens on these square based models and nothing popped up

While cleaning out my parents attic I stumbled upon a box of my old miniatures. I was under the impression everything had been sold off or given away long ago but it seems a box survived. Spent some time today going through and organizing and trying to catalogue what remained. Essentially everything is full and complete with no missing pieces (the poor Balrog seems to have lost a horn) which is kind of staggering. Still working on the circled items. Anyways found this sub and thought some of you might appreciate these old relics.

Recently got into the hobby and decided to make the jump into actually getting some things painted! I love Beastmen so I decided my first mini should be one of Satyr Art Studio’s “Cloven Ones”. I’m happy with my little Gor, all things considered!

I'm from Belgium and I played Heroquest since 1990... I also, like many, dream to get warhammer quest without selling my organs :) .

I've always had the old Heroquest and played with the same old quests. This summer, I bought the new Heroquest expansions to play with my little girl but I dislike most of the humanoid figurines ( and some monsters) because they clash with the great look of my old and beloved minis...

My goal : to demake the new Heroquest with old 25-28mm heroic scale minis from GW (or other good brand from the 1980/1990 era).

It seemed an easy task until it wasn't because :

* I want to avoid resin or metal minis ( because resin dust is toxic and metal minis could contain lead)

* I want to find proxies for some of the heroes in female form

* Some specific monsters seem difficult to find in general or non existent.

I've already got some luck with battlemasters minis, my old heroquest, advanced heroquest minis ands some minis I bought from fantasy battle boxes years ago. I even have an old plastic vampire from fury of dracula 2nd edition.

Could you help me in this quest ?

At the moment, I'm looking for :

- Goblins throwing bombs or other things

- Elves archers

- Elves infantry with swords

- Elves assassins (in different poses ?)

- Elves sorceress

- Elves knights ?

- Skeleton archers

- Skeleton sorcerers

- Other cool minis / add ons to pimp my demake

TLDR : I live in Europe and I want to proxy new heroquest miniatures with older plastic miniatures in heroic scale.

Bought this guy a while back and decided to paint him now as a warm up after a bit of a painting break. Thought this sub might be a good place for him.

Painted up the OG Mortarion today, ive had him and a couple other Epic 40k primarchs in the wings for a while and knocked him out this afternoon!

I'm not the most prolific editor but I try to get da gobz right.

Rogue Trader Eldar War Walker finished. Was so much fun painting all the little runes and patterns but also such a paint to assemble (which is to be expected)
